I'm so proud of Zhou Dong Yu. She was a little villager girl, but she caught the eye of the director of Under the Hawthorn Tree. She had no acting experience and never went to school for acting here she got chosen...and that movie made her so famous to the point where she is today. Proof to never give up😊💕 under the hawthorn tree will forever remain in my heart💕

@愛莉 lol I watched cry me a sad river first and then better days. I cried so much during cry me a sad river, but I was so confused at what the neck was going on in better days I didn't cry at all. I felt sad but it just didn't hit me in the way it did in cry me a sad river. Don't blame me thought I will definitely go back to rewatch and maybe I'll cry😭

Trust me when i say I haven’t watched a movie as good as BETTER DAYS in my 26 years of life i literally mean it.This movie is a master piece.I am not even exaggerating it is should have already won an oscar amazing actors amazing story with line with a meaning “PERFECT “ the only word that can do justice to explain this movie

Yeh I watched "Better days" yesterday and I think both movies have different stories but purity and innocence of love both films carry is same.
True, I really liked this movie, tho it didnt make me cry, but it is the most emotional movie which I have watched.

@@ukiyomi For me, it was Cry Me a Sad River, she was more lonely, and that makes me cry. In Better Days, I cried when I watched it for first time, bcs all these emotions, but second time was okey. But both are hella good movies which stucks in my head and I watched them more than oncee, and I'm currently trying to force my friends to also watch bsc they don't know what they missing xdd And also, I heard more of Zhou Dongyu's movies are emotional, so I'll watch it and hope they'll give simillar vibes as these two movies

ive watched both cry me a sad river and better days and they were both sad. i felt the love more for better days tho but i stayed up for an hour just thinking what happened at the end, but i still think it was worth a watch. also cry me a sad river felt really pure, and the brother of the girl who passed is honestly my favorite guy in that movie. i just feel like theres something wrong with me lol, for both the movies, i only shedded 5 tears. legit. im actually annoyed like why cant i cryyy more to these sad movies.
