Take a 20-year journey through the life of Truly Lin, unfolding mostly in flashbacks to reveal how she arrived at her current situation. During her senior year of high school, she partnered with TaiYu in a scheme to disrupt the blossoming romance between their rivals, Ouyang and Minmin. 'OUR TIMES' IS AHEAD OF ITS TIME FOR REAL! the enemies to lovers trope, with chronic downbadism, loser in love male lead, characters who match each other's yearning and pining, and great OSTs were all in this movie. deserves more recognition and appreciation, romcoms are soo back!

No cause if you grew into adulthood, life becomes so depressing and boring that you'll end up reminiscing those fun and silly moments you had back in high school. So lucky are the ones who got to have that kind of experience as a teenager. Even luckier are the ones who got to bring that kind of happiness with them as adults.

I’m already 32 and i regretted the time i’ve wasted not embracing my real self and not pushing myself to be with someone whom i really like. I regretted everything! So if i would have been given a chance, i would definitely go back to my middle school life. I want to pursue those things ive been regretted. I will be true to myself. I will not mind anyone’s opinion and just live the life i have. 😢

You know, there's always things we're going to regret. Always. But as long as we are alive, we have time and the hope of having more opportunities to move forward and live the life we won't regret. Hang in there, I am right there with you with the regrets etc. Although I have always known who I was and where I wanted to go, which helped lessen some of my regrets, there's definitely times I wish I could do a do-over.
When regrets start bogging you down and distracting you from all the hope, good, and triumphs you presently have in your life, just remind yourself, in the fighting words of John Carter: "I still live!" 😁

I haven't watched a Taiwanese film in years! probably the last Taiwanese film (drama) I have watched was Autum's Concierto (rewatched it probably 6 years ago)... then, I happen to stumble upon this video because in the thumbnail.... the actor (sorry idk his name😅) caught my eye! ... well that started it hehe... ang wow, the whole cinematography, cast, phasing of the story and darn it, the ending! the celeb appearances mind blown me hahaha this film is lit 🔥
sameeee. i first watched this movie upon its release on cinema back when i was 14, during my school trip (my first love also went on that trip😂we ended up separate ways now but everything's good while it last) now im 23 and this movie still gives me the feels that i felt back when i watched in for the first time. such a beautiful love story, will forever enjoy this movie❤
I watched this movie for the first time at the age of 14. I remember at the time I fell in love with it and cried a lot. At that time I learned that whoever loves you will not give up and that we must reveal our feelings clearly because the other party will not know how we feel if we do not tell him. Today, at the age of 18, I watch it again and it has returned to occupy a large space in my heart. And I still cry over its details. This time, I learned something more that what is meant for you, even if it is delayed, you will get it. I learned that whoever truly loves you will never forget you or your memories. One of the greatest films I have ever seen in my life.
That is a beautiful and very important lesson, one I'm so very thankful you learned and so early. Seriously, it will make a world of difference for you in the long run. And it applies to all relationships worth pursuing; family, friends, potential mates and your future soulmate.

I don't understand why they used different casts, it changed my mood... So impressed with darren wang acting, he can change his face expression very well, i mean face of bad guy, romactic, funny, angry, sad, arrogant...

Maybe Darren and Vivian were not available for the shoot. Or the start and end were just added at the last minute?

I didn't cry for once ? Does that make me heartless? Well I loved this movie. I mean I love 90's time in chinese movies and dramas like " we were young " , " go ahead" . I'm 21 years old and my current dating life has been filled with flings, people I've met on dating apps, and a relationship that didn't go the way I wanted to. Regardless, I want to find a love like this and I'm glad I can come back to this movie and remember that this kind of love can exist (even if it definitely is fiction and fairytale haha). So good to be back. I watched this movie a couple of times already back when I was still in 10th grade. At that time, after watching it couple of times I still enjoyed watching it with a guy classmate. We got together on 11th grade & broke up at 12th. Skip to this day, I graduated college already, and hearing its theme song again, reminds me of those good times and with that guy cm/my ex. I'm watching it again now in my room, thinking about him, guess what? I'm watching it again with that guy inside my heart. Wishing to see this movie again with him after 6 years. He's in abroad now and he's trying to win me back again after being apart for years. Maybe I'll watch it again with him. (Ily💗)

I remember watching Our Times in our girls hostel with my friends when we were in grade 12 and it was my first time watching a Taiwanese movie and Darren wang, his smile made me fall in love with him so much very much.❤️ and that younger actress(can't remember her name) just gave off Hyeri's vibe from Reply 1988, such cuties.😆❤️

This is so bizarre. The channel's catalogue of movies are filled with lesser known 70-90s Western movies, then out of the blue came this Taiwanese masterpiece from the 2010s.
All I can say is, I hope they get the rights to show more good Chinese/Japanese/Korean movies like this in the near future. 😍
