We bought an 82 Chrysler LeBaron convert about 8 years ago, it was all original, except for top, tires, belts hoses and muffler. It had 12,500 miles on it! The Mark Cross leather interior is very, very comfortable. It's our cruise-in car, I get a lot of questions about it.

Preserve it! A key piece of automotive history that got so neglected for decades.
Without it, there would be no Hellcats growling around...

The chrome, the grill and the hood ornament, the lines, decent MPG, easy to fix, and these were front wheel drive for the snow. These were always very unique; a working person's classic.

Before anyone makes fun of cars with 'wood' paneling, please remind yourself that 50 million people on this continent live in houses covered with make-believe wood siding made of vinyl or aluminum. I would definitely choose the wood tribute for my car rather than my house. Mic drop!

What a contrast ! While watching this, all I could think of was all the beautiful classics with their elegant lines and artful chrome bumpers, mouldings, and emblyms that you have showen. I've been in Autobody all my life, and owned and operated one most of it. Because of that, I can appreciate most any vehicle in it's original and pristine condition. I had a 86 convert like this one, except it wasn't the woody. I rebuilt it from wrightoff condition and used it for a courtesy car for a short while. first customer to use it put the top down without un zipping the back glass and blew it out. That was the last time I lent it out. It was a fun little car and when the turbo kicked in it had an impressive boost of power for that little engine
Koudos to Byron, for his beautiful and orignal condition LeBaron. (LeBaron LeByron, Hmmm)

I remember these in the Midwest. I always thought it was a pleasant & nice looking car. The ‘wood’ paneling never bothered me one bit. Maybe it’s because from the 1960’s - mid 1990’s many American station wagons had the proverbial ‘wood’ look. It was always a tribute to the actual ‘Woodies’ of yesteryear. I see nothing wrong or hokey with these. Nice find Lou!!
