the orchid and bamboo round out the Four Gentlemen (orchid, bamboo, chrysanthemum, plum blossoms) which is a traditional theme in Chinese painting. they each represent a season (orchid = spring, bamboo = summer, chrysanthemum = fall, plum = winter)
I'm sure they'll come. They've done this with other themes, start with an expensive 18+ set to test the interest and then rele5a range of small sets a little while later
Crazy that the zelda tree is already 30% off on nintendo's own website. Such a massive discount on an IP set released a few months ago tells me this is a horrible performer for the lego group due to price.
Not perse. After the first few months, it is fairly easy to find sets for 20-35 percent discount. Almost all lego resellers do this where i live. What always gives it away is when lego does it. Like with the soccer game
Yeah i don’t think I ever saw them in person. That Sonic 2025 wave is just perfect- minus the campfire but I get why it exists. The Sonic sets have two categories- Cool toys kids will probably like, or WAY too cool and detailed models. The Death Egg Robot, the Emerald shrine, Shadow’s bike, both planes, the Biolizard- Lego’s absolutely knocking it out of the park with the Sonic license.
Since 2006 Lego has released a City cargo train every 2.67 years and a City passenger train every 3.2 years on average. As this makes us due for new trains in 2025, I wonder what they’ll look like, or if the F1 stuff bumps them to 2026.
@ I went to Bricklink and looked at the City RC trains by year. Last set of trains was in 2022, so if they’re about every 3 years, we’re due for new trains in 2025. The longest between train releases is 4 years, so they should come by 2026 at the latest.
@@Gzilla313 I think I remember we go the passenger train , cargo train and train station in 2014 , and then a year later in 2015 we got another cargo train. And yes , 2014 , 2018 and 2022 we've received Lego City Trains . But also we've received all the Icons , Ideas and Bricklink Designer Program trains aswell. Too me , trains are like planes and medieval castles , you get one for a few years , maybe wait a few more years and then boom , a new one. Forgot aboit the Hidden Side and Harry Potter trains , buy yeah , we need more trains. Last cargo one wasn't that good . I still prefer the 2018 cargo train.
I'm not a major Sonic fan by any means, but the Cyclone vs Metal Sonic set is definetly one I'm interested in. Metal Sonic has always just been cool to me for some reason. Also a shame to see that nothing DC has been revealed yet since that theme is in DESPERATE need of attention.
I complete agree on the Lunar New Year sets. While the upcoming sets are beautiful and I'll get them, but much prefer the scenes. This is my primary theme I collect (along with traditional looking Monkie Kid sets). I skipped most of the Year of the Rabbit sets because they just didn't fit in with my collection.
I'm mostly interested in the Animal Crossing sets. I missed out on Fabuland back in the day, though I don't know if I would have liked the theme back then.
I have the tall neck and I do love it even tho I don’t play the game. Robot ,even Dino’s? Of course I want it them. Tho I want to see how they scale with one another and see if there’s any improvements fans can do.
@Red_Steampunker that Tallneck is incredible. I wanna see more!!! My favorite franchise to play are these games. Legit one of the Only reasons I'm getting a PS5
@@jbac5767 oh the second game is on pc maybe even the first last I saw. My friend replays the game all the time. I do like the balance between wildlife robots and the more militarized normal drones and such. Makes it wild when the game goes, “got your stick and rocks? Ok kill that robot mech demon thing” lol
I loved the Hidden Side sets, but yeah, the gimmick thrown in wasn't great. It also made parts of the sets feel awkward since they had to fit those parts in. Oh, not to mention that the app wasn't even compatible with a lot of phones out there
I personally like the look of the lunar new year cat and the good fortune sets. They both go very well with the money tree set. Even though I'd have preferred a Chinese snake, I guess it would be very similar in build to the Dragon.
The color scheme on those city sets are a hot mess. They are kinda cool though, I'm interested in the new tech, could be awesome, could be another hidden side/nexo knights "powers" thing. I feel like they are definitely putting their best resources on Monkey Kid, I've been collecting Ninjago since it came out and the quality has definitely dropped, like they figured out that Ninjago won't sell in Asia so they shifted focus and now we just get "ehh" Ninjago sets now.
We want a peaches castle in the style of the Disney castle complete with Mario minifigs......make it and it will be a case of just take my money!!!!!!!!!
I find that, even as a kid, if I needed anything else to interact with my toy I did that once and then never again. So something where I wave a camera around to see hidden stuff is neat, but would rather have 50 more bricks. Of course technology when I was a kid was Polaroid cameras, and tape decks. Now maybe a kid would like these things as technology is more integrated. I think the fact that Lego abandoned these things means they don't do well.
I think they need to focus on less sets and make them great designs and mass produce pieces so they can drop prices. They should make them like an assembly line to lower prices. Just seems most the small sets are just too small and lack lustered to me.
Idk...The Lunar Family still beign together, after all the world has gone through, seems to be asking plenty. IDK if everything always has to be a big show, flashy, and expensice. I think the Lunar Family is grateful to just be included still.
What, not enough LEGO Star Wars sets for your liking? 😅 LEGO is not focusing on Chinese customers; LEGO is just _widening_ their appeal to more and broader markets.

We need more Legend of Zelda sets.... at a lower price point

The aftermarket for the minifigures and printed pieces is absolutely appalling. £40 for a minifig and £5 for a 1x1 tile is misery.
And more dungeons and dragons sets also at a lower price point

It's also... not? I just checked and it's the same price. Likely just a regional thing if you're telling the truth.
I would want to see a LEGO Pikmin set, maybe Lego could do a collector series with a diorama from all the Nintendo games, including PIKMIN!
Need medieval stuff...
Yes.
Yes.
Real😊
And pirate. The best themes.
the horizon set is genuinely phenomenal. beautiful models, beautiful figs, beautiful price, 10/10 set
A time before the horrors... that means he knew.
I don't know what it means he knew yet but it still means he knew.
If we dont get any horrors in the next year we will have to write a very strong letter of complaint.
Now all we need are actual Mario minifigures and people can start remaking Super Mario Bros Z as a LEGO stop motion.
If only there were online creators, that make custom minifigs..
9:52 we got at least two for Inside Out 2- a mini doll set and BrickHeadz.
