As a 51 year-old student pilot I enjoy your videos as soon as you post them. Excellent content, excellent production quality and of course, always entertaining! Excellent landing BTW! I really appreciate the detail you include in what you're doing and why. I take mental notes on how you handle your flying and your radio etiquette to improve my own as I take my next flight. Thanks for helping me as you post your own adventures. Mad respect!
There's something OH SO picturesque about the blue waters of Abaco HOWEVER. . .you can't help be amazed at the presentation INSIDE the cabin AND OUTSIDE the cabin! Even to gaze and admire a Cirrus makes me smile while flying over the blue waters. Great video.
Those new Cirrus are really nice aircraft, and they have them so well designed for safety and ease of flight and comfort that it's amazing to see where smaller aircraft have developed into. Some nasty winds..even if you did miss some weather, but made it work very well.
Started watching your videos several months ago and now I am four hours into my own pilot adventures and loving every second of it. Awesome channel. Thanks for the great videos
@@MrJuju69 Ive got nine hours now and getting close to my first solo, it will DEFINITELY hook you in. Totally worth it, you should do it and good luck!
You and Nate are awesome..I always learn from you. When I flew to the Bahamas I remembered what you said in one of your videos about the clouds/weather over grand Bahamas going I was on the south. on my return I flew the north side .That flight taught me so much and was an experience of a life time..
Very nice Steveo!!!!!!! I like to use the term "Push Off the Crab" with the rudder which implies a progressive action, but not jabbing action as "kick off the crab" implies. The heavier the airplane to more I would emphasize this phrase. ( e.g. TBM, 737, 767 etc.) Excellent video as usual.
Hi Steveo, one thing I rely love about your videos is that you produce very hi quality entertaining , excitement , music, video graphics and so on. thank´s Steveo 😎👍
I saw "IT" at 2:27 but hit the like button already!!! Who else hits the like button within the first seconds on steveo's videos??? I always do cause his flight vlogs are always great. Thanks Steveo for the awesome content you are providing
Good job guys, thanks for sharing. Steveo, you always seem to nail those landings when everyone is watching, remember Greg and his P1D? You did a good job there as well.
Nice! During my last flight lesson is we had a strong crosswind landing. It was fascinating to watch my CFI concentrate on those controls. We almost went around. Afterwords, he asked if I heard of personal minimums. I did, and he said, "yeah, I just increased mine."
As usual a great flight Great placement of the cameras, great narrating of the flight and what you're doing. Great landing. I was checking your knuckles but they didn't turn white. A testament to your professionalism. Looking fwd to the next video.
Hey Steveo Been been watching your videos over the past 2 years and you have inspired me to pass my PPL over here in the UK...Im 45 now but always been interested in Aviation from a young age. Im a Forex/Crypto Trader and that has led me to afford flying lessons and I have now passed and gained my PPL . Massive thank you from myself and keep these videos coming and hopefully I can meet you one day.. Si
Totally unrelated to the post. Just curious about how one gets into forex/crypto trading. You dont have to go into detail but any starting pointers would be great. Thanks .
Nice flight and display of cross wind landing. That Cirrus is one hell of a hotrod! I have a question if I may. When you "opened" your flight plan with Miami Center as you climbed out of Treasure Cay Airport, am I correct you still filed flight plan on the ground prior ( to departure 1 or 2 hour in advance) ? The only reason I ask is the sequence shown just has the appearance of missing this step and bypasses Bahamas point of entry (control) of flight management of its airspace. I'm sure this isn't the case given regs, etc. What was the experience like using e-APIS in the Bahamas? Might be a great topic for a future video. I've never used General Aviation e-Apis or DVFR procedures into the Bahamas. I haven't flown into the Bahamas since the late 90s, long before 9/11. This looks like a *ALLOT* of fun and easy to accomplish using the right aeroplane and procedures.
One of the best videos and flights you have uploaded Steve. That was quite a tricky landing You certainly are an inspiration for some us to go and take up the challenge or dream of becoming a pilot. LAPL at least Keep them videos rolling
Hey Stevo, as you clearly nailed that X-wind landing. What’s your reference cue for exactly when to “kick out the 🦀”? Ps. Always love watching your videos
Another good video Steve and a much better landing than I was expecting in that little thing with the wind. You said that they were hiring...might contact them for a part time gig. I have ZERO time in a Caravan but a little over 20,000 hours total in 32 years. Been retired now for a number of years but still fly myself to have fun. Little request if possible from you...post your old videos of your "PRE" TBM days...like the one you mentioned in the King Air. Maybe make a new folder to put your vids in of all the other aircraft you have flown. I would like to see them and I am sure others here would also. Fly safe.
Nice work as always. Your videos are of particular interest as you do an excellent job of iterating your thoughts and actions and i’m a watch one, do one, teach one kind of guy. Thanks.
I forgot, are you required to do run ups for Turbo props? Just thinking about what happened here at Addison. Why if they had to do a run up they didn't notice any weirdness with their left engine.
Mike A. There is no run up on turbine engines. If they are spinning they are working. Some turboprops do cycle the props before the first flight of the day.
Steveo, love your videos. They have helped reignite my passion for flying such that I am now pursuing my PPL. I struggle to understand what ATC is saying most of the time though since it’s so fast. Was that ever challenging for you? How long did it take to overcome?

Nicely done!
You are a very good pilot. I'm impressed how calm you are when landing in strong wings and the plane being buffeted around.
Holy crap you were working that stick for sure. Whew!! Nice job. Jim.
I was in the Berry Islands on a sail boat when the storm front came through. Good thing you flew back, it was rough.
Nicely done, sure had you work on final and before touch down. Shout out to Nate.
Great as always. Some beautiful views.
Great flight guys, nice landing Steveo...
Niko's Wings hey Niko
Every Bahamas flight vlog is a good reminder to go to the Bahamas at least once in my lifetime

Steveo the reason I watch you is because you are a dam good pilot brother.

Excellent educational video for IFR procedures from the Bahamas. Little plug for ForeFlight huh. 👍👍
O-2 skymaster at 3:20!!! that's my dream plane.

Almost bought a 25% ownership in a pusher puller.
Same
I had a feeling you guys would like that airplane. Made sure to put that camera view up as we passed by it.
My very first airplane ride was in a Skymaster at what is now John Wayne Airport. I've been in love with that plane ever since!!

I always kick out the crab as I enter the flare and want to get the airplane on the runway.
Nice landing. It is always good to challenge yourself a bit, now and then. Don't want to get too complacent, eh? Thanks for sharing.

Love these vids
You're pretty damn good at this flying malarkey
Flying is easy, it's the take-off and landing that is the tricky part! ;-)
Had my blood pumpin'...
Excellent video Steveo!! Shout out to Mike and Steve Patey - BEST TUGS at 21:30 to pull in that beautiful Cirrus!
It's Mike and Mark Patey btw. More awesome content on RUclips, particularly with Draco!
