      Okay, even on dry road in panic braking without abs you will probly skid and fall. Once I was traveling 50kmh and suddenly a guy runned to cross road infront of MD but I braked both brakes hardly but nothing happend. That time abs was on and working. But few months ago a guy with scooter came in opposite lane and about to hit me I grabbed both brakes but that time my abs was having problem and both wheels skidded and I fall leaving me 3000INR for damages. So abs is always good to have..

    • @Merc399
      @Merc399 9 месяцев назад +2

      @@blackwing1362 this is incorrect. ABS has almost killed me on and off road. i disable it in every motorcycle i get after it caused me to slide into the back of another vehicle when going down hill. i could have just skidded and grabbed traction but ABS prevents skidding. skidding is a tool, not a problem to eliminate. If you learn to do what the abs and traction control do yourself youll be a better rider for it

    • @blackwing1362
      @blackwing1362 9 месяцев назад +3

      @Merc399 when you skid, there is less friction between your tires and the ground, thus you slow down slower than you could. But that only applies to street. Off road, abs is 100% terrible, but you will stop faster on the street. I've had it save my life more than once.

I ride a older 1000 with no rider aids it regularly sounds up and the front will slide, no it's not ideal but keeping a level head when it does helps keep the bike up, as for brakes well I just pray that I don't have to stop using my face..

The wet is not as dangerous for bikes as this video would have you believe. Being rounded bike tires can push the water away and keep the contact patch from hydroplaning as quickly.
