2:18 because Jan Wenner who spent years making it his mission to keep bands like KISS, Styx, Monkees, etc out was humiliated when they won. He was so pissed off that he imposed the ultimatum that only the original four would be inducted.
Bruce was part of the comeback era. It would be different if Bruce, Vinnie, Eric, and Eric should have been including. I recall an interview with Gene. He said that everyone who was ever in the Eagles (their contemporaries) got in.
Bruce is a class act, and, in my view, the best guitarist KISS EVER had. However, the original four were the ones who made the impact and brought KISS to the levels they reached. While I will always believe Eric Singer is the best technical drummer the band ever had, the other KISS lineups either struggled or were treading water. there wasn't an impact that the other lineups had that the original lineup had. And while my heart wishes Bruce and both Eric's were inducted, my head understands why in this case, they weren't.
If you want to really understand just how much credibility the rock and roll Hall of Fame has , have a look at the list of bands who were inducted before Deep Purple finally was.
I was there and met Paul, Peter, Bill Murray and others...magic night. It would have been so cool to see the band perform RNRAN, IWMFLY and Beth. It could have been a real highlight of the entire show. But the producers overlooked it in favor of the Nirvana segment. Verrry long show, as the guys mentioned. E Street acceptance speeches lasted for close to an entire hour in and of itself. Monitor issues with Hall and Oates slowed the show to a crawl. Great interview, as always!
It’s so unfair that every Kiss member wasn’t inducted, in reality it took every member to keep Kiss relevant through all of there ups and downs, with just the original 4 members they might not have made the rrhof
It started off very well,, First 10-12 years,,,,,,,,from 2000-presant,, slowly the wrong ppl were inducted too soon before Many artists waiting well over 25 years,,,,or just recently getting inducted,,,,,,,and still Grand Funk us still hardly even considered anymore,,,,
Kiss members divide opinions. Except Bruce Kulick. Everybody has to love that guy.
Bruce Kulick needs to be in the HOF along with Carr, Vincent,etc...
We love Bruce Kulick! He's a class act!! We love Bruce here in Texas!!
Bruce contributed so much to the band but All of us fans don't forget.
Class act Bruce,we love you.

I‘m a Fan of the Classic KISS Line-up ! But if somebody else would be a Real KISS Member too. - then Eric Carr & Bruce Kullick.
So is Bruce Kulick now blacklisted by Paul Stanley for speaking to Eddie Trunk?
Hmm..good question.

Hall should of included bruce
The HOF is both a great thing and a confusing thing all at once. Bruce (and many others) should have been included.
It's a joke.

The H o F SUCKS guy.
Period.
It's Pathetic.
@@MetalSalvation Agree!
@@patg912 Great point!
Springsteen sales plummeting since '84....
Im sorry but the 4 are the only ones that should have went in
Hall of fame is toxic
Bad hairstyle for Bruce.
Original members of Kiss are the only ones worthy. You have to have a cultural impact, which Bruce did not have.
Man Eddie thinks a hole lot of himself doesn't he? Lol 😅. His favorite thing to say is I. I know this I was there I was evolved
