My dad was stationed at sembach army base in 1965-1974 . we loved it my sister and I would hop a ride to ktown we miss it and we loved it and the day trips oh the day trips
We lived in k town for 3 years , we lived up on flegu Strasse we would walk down to the the restaurants and bakery's all the time , there was great places to eat and meet our Air Force friends, enjoyed our little town and how friendly they were to us
Just became aware of this...sorry. Most of downtown Kaiserslautern is now a Fussgänger, or Pedestrian zone. There are still bakeries and veggie stands galore. We have a gigantic open-air market that holds markets on Tuesdays and Saturdays all year long. What is most popular this time of year are the many beer gardens where one can practice the age-old pastime of 'people watching.' As I say, nice place to live. Glad you liked the clip...dion
Beautiful place, I have great memories from there, I lived there for 1 year from 1997 to 1998. Loved it.
