Very thorough as usual. Germany has everything: nature, history, architecture, museums, big modern cities and a high standard of living. It's always worth visiting Germany. I'm glad that cities that were heavily bombed during World War II chose to rebuild what was there and preserve their heritage. The camera work and editing were really great.
Thanks so much John for your always thoughtful comments. It’s pretty crazy to look at the pictures and see how much they had to restore for cities like Dresden and Cologne. Makes you wonder what Europe would look like if there was no wars 🤔
Most German cities did not simply rebuild "what was there" after WW2. Some historic sites were rebuilt, but more than a few intact buildings even were torn down and replaced by blocks of questionable architecture.

There are super many small towns in Germany that are not overrun with tourists but are still very beautiful. Some examples are Wertheim (and the whole Tauber valley), Idstein (very small but extremely beautiful with a castle in the Taunus, i recommend having lunch at the Alte Feuerwache or the Deli Dojo), Karslruhe (a bit bigger but still very beautiful), the Eifel, a volcanic region, is also very beautiful with Aachen as the biggest city. As a fan of beautiful castles you must visit Wernigerode Castle in the Harz Mountains. Wernigerode is a super nice little town with an even nicer castle. If you are already there you can also take the Brocken train to the Brocken (the highest mountain in eastern Germany). Germany is a very unique country where every small town has its own history and architecture because it was divided into many small states for a long time. Therefore, there are so many small beautiful towns that are rarely mentioned in all the tourist books or are simply lost next to the big attractions.
You forgot Quedlinburg and Goslar and a "little" correction here: the Brocken is the highest mountain in the North of Germany, as it's part of the "low mountains /Mittelgebirgskette" going from West towards East 🤣. Greetings from the Waterkant
I’m from Freiburg and every time I see it somewhere it makes my heart jump a little hit like when you see your beloved ones. I love our cities and nature.

I want to go to Germany to see all of these beautiful places. I would also definitely add the Berlin Philharmonic and the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Concerts to my list too. Great Video!!
I am half German and my mom still lives there. I’ve been to Berchtesgaden, the Rhine river, Cochem Castle, Frankfurt, Heidelberg, the black forest, Freiburg, Rothenberg, and Neuschwanstein castle.

google translator. Thanks buddy for the nice video. I've been all over Germany and what's shown here is just a very small selection. Most notably, you left out the city of "Quiet Area," which is home to 27 million people. It is the largest metropolis in Europe and has many secret beautiful corners, but also many miserable corners, like any of the great metropolises in the world. My ancestors lived in this very area more than 6000 years ago
Oh, Germany!
You’re from such a enchanting land
Great list Ryan, I've been living in Germany for almost 7 years, I've seen quite a bit of Germany, I'm still missing some places you mentioned here, but I've seen the majority of them, your list is very well put together 👍

Amazing people, awesome food. lovely churches basically iam blown away this blessed country.i 😍 Love Germany🇩🇪 from the bottom of my 💓 Heart.
The scenery is gorgeous! We lived in Germany for 4 years and I think it’s one of the most beautiful countries in the world. My all-time favorite city is Garmisch-Partenkirschen in Bavaria. I also love Ludwig’s Linderhof Palace and grounds near there. I wish I could go back!
Wow that’s so cool you lived there! What brought you to Germany?
You probably went to Eibsee and up to Zugspitze when you were in Garmisch-Partenkirschen, right? :)
My most fave place that I visit over & over every time Im in Germany is the Neuschwanstein Castle. It is so fascinating to see. I love it.

Last week i was in Germany . Went to Stuttgart , Freiburg (black forest) for a hiking .. oh my ! Im falling in love with the places that you’ve featured in your channel! So amazing places!! Hopefully i can visit them too 😍💚 ! 😉😎

I first visited East and West Berlin while the wall was still up. We went shopping in East Berlin and it was fun. I loved visiting the flea market in the old bahnhof. My Tante lives in Hamburg.
I want to go to Germany to see all of these beautiful places. I would also definitely add the Berlin Philharmonic and the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Concerts to my list too. Great Video!!

ive been to germany 3 times, and the last time i went was nearly 9 years ago, i really need to go back. i visited neuschwanstein in 2013 and one of my biggest travel regrets was not properly appreciating it and not wanting to go there. now today i am double my age that i was back then - and i now realise how amazing the castle is and i just need to go back, germany is amazing :)
Danke, dass Sie mein geliebtes Vaterland zeigen 🖤🤍❤
Ryan Shirley is the ULTIMATE TRAVEL KING! He Truly gives the people what they want! He gets the people going!
Haha thanks brother! We gotta hit up Europe this summer :)
I' m really impressed! Living in the Northern Black Forest, I share your mind about this beautiful country. Its a pity, that many of us are not satisfied with the privilige they have to live here.
I’m jealous you live in the Black Forest! 😁
@@RyanShirley I'm living at the Bäderstrasse between Nagold and Calw. Clear sources and dark forests are the main features of this area.
Thank you I am German, I love your Chanel, quick to the point, makes it so easy to know and decide which place would be off my interest to visit. , thank you so much. 😊
My favorite is Munich.. I love Bavaria and I can't wait to go back this summer and have a fresh beer at HB! Cheers🍻
Such a incredible city! Gotta love a Bavarian summer 🏔🇩🇪
Thats like the worst and touristic thing you can do.... i mean go to the HB. Just go to family brewery
@@francisco.gr128 The food is not much to look at but the beer is the best and the bretzel as well.
@@JULZ-Entertainment One of the best for sure😋

I will mention three other cities I would have described: Leipzig, Düsseldorf, & Stuttgart
Thanks so much Frank! I’ll have to add them in part 2
Gorgeous!!!! thank you for making the video, showed how much I missed in my 4 months living in Berlin. Hope I can go back to Germany again
Of course! So cool you lived there for a few months. Where are you from?
@@RyanShirley I am from Indonesia, I was there, in Belin, as an exchange student for a semester
google translator.
My ancestors lived in this very area more than 6000 years ago
und ich denke, viele vorfahren amerikatische auswanderer kommen von hier
Oh, Germany! I like this amazing country😍 From your list I visited Hamburg, Berlin, Cologne, Lubeck, all these cities are different but they have one general thing- beauty and history, great architecture. I also like too much Bremen, especially the historical part of city. Great filming as always 👏👏👏
You been to some amazing spots! I gotta check out Bremen soon :)
@@RyanShirley Bremen is amazing, I like the old street, I think Shnoor street. Very beautiful historical place.
@@RyanShirleyI had a friend from Bremen come to my school in Alabama 🇺🇸, in the 10th grade, he left during covid, then came back a couple weeks ago for 1 week for our senior prom. I'll have to visit him soon.
@@worldwalkerwoman Maybe the greatest part of this beautiful city. 😍 And not too far away from the Weserstadium 😅

Hildesheim wurde fast komplett zerstört! Trier und Potsdam über ein Drittel!
Colmar isnt German anymore since more than a hundred years? :D
