    One way mirror film, also known as two way mirror film or privacy film, can be applied to glass to turn it into a one way mirror.
    Unlike typical mirror films, which are too transparent, high reflectance one way window film provides both daytime and nighttime privacy.

    Benefits
    To enhance window privacy, the most effective and affordable solution is the application of reflective film.
    Once applied, the film will make the exterior side of the glass a mirror, preventing vision through the glass, while maintaining the view from inside.
    While many window films deliver a bit of daytime privacy, if you're looking for full daytime and nighttime privacy you'll need a high reflectance film, like this one.
    What is one way mirror film?
    It's a thin poly material that incorporates several layers to control different properties, such as UV light, heat, glare, and privacy.
    While enhancing privacy, it also makes windows more energy efficient by reflecting the sun's rays.
    It's also easier on the eyes, and prevents bothersome glare on televisions and computer screens.

      Many people place a light outside as well to cancel the light inside. The light outside should be brighter.

    • @twowaymirrors
      @twowaymirrors  3 года назад

      Corey,
      We do not necessarily recommend applying it to acrylic as it bubbles quickly. However, some of my clients have had success with it. Apply to clear glass for the best results. 😊

      Typically our clients just install 1 layer of film, I'm not sure how multiple layers would work if you wanted to add a specific color to it.

      Yes, it will work great for seeing out the back window. It would be the very highest level of privacy for that application: www.twowaymirrors.com/one-way-mirror-film/ Standard films are typically 3x more transparent. Hope that helps!

    Sorry if this is a dumb question, but does the mirror effect only work at certain angles and distances? I want to use this on my living room windows to provide privacy, since they are at basically eye level and accessible from the street, but I was wondering if this would also work on my sliding glass door so that people in the facing apartment building or below my balcony cannot look in. Thanks!

    I'm going to watch this presentation, but the exaggerated voice inflections make it very difficult to listen to. Suggestion to the narrator: Just speak as though you were talking to the cashier at your local store....calm and relaxed. You're viewers are here for the information. Now, let me see if I can make it through this presentation. Nope. Couldn't do it.
