- These are the first few test runs of the M365 conversion (codename V365) and tuning - I can't emphasise how fast this thing is!
My advice to anyone thinking of doing it is....... DON'T!

For those who asked, the ANT BMS I use is this one: s.click.aliexp...
I don't know most of the stuff you talk about, gut I love your RUclips channel.
I know everything I talk about but I'll never know why people enjoy watching this crap 😂
Watching from Australia after seeing a lot of American and European vlogs. It's so nice to see people driving (or flying along on insane scooters) on the _correct_ side again. 👍
Loved the sections of the video that you sped up, makes it look like you were doing about 38mph instead of 15.5mph....... 🤣
Loool Tony made it look like it was doing about 35mph 🤣🤣💪
Dan Smith Master of the obvious 😜
Me? 38mph? NEVER - it was no more than 15.5mph which is the legal limit. How dare some people insinuate that I break the law! 🤣🤣🤣
Vortecks 👍🛴💪
That's what you think - The word on the street is he actually had to slow the video down to make it look like he was going slower than he really was!!!🤣🤣🤣
Tony, you are insane & a total Legend all at the same time!! ⚔️⚔️
I don't recognise any of the roads in your vids tbh, I've caught a glimpse of some in West brom i know from one of your old vids......today, I finally recognise that road in Cannock......I I can't believe you are riding that bloody scooter down there!! 😂😂 You're a mad man! Love it, keep it up Tony, stay safe! ;)
Nobody gonna talk about how he still has the sticker on his headlight? Lol
FINALLY! someone noticed. I can take it off now 😂
@@Vortecks hasn't got any nails to take it off.
Celebration burnout at the end absolutely love it
Good to see it worked out Tony...Missing the Summer trips on the bike to the canal side...Now that November is with us during Flaming July.... bastard weather.
Awesome! 04:03 that looks fast on the flat!
Love your videos keep up the good work looking forward to seeing what’s next
Nice one Tony. Thanks for the updates. Nice to see things progressing along. Keep well fella
Cheers mate 😊
That looked right proper quick that did!
Keep up the good work
Edit: Bloody hell, I just converted your Mph to Kph....You're one crazy bastard...you know that ...right?. I haven't been that fast on my 1500w Ebike yet!
It's gonna be even faster with the new addition I have.........keep watching 😊
"My advice to anyone thinking of doing it is... DON'T"
My inner speed demon removed the "N'T" from the end of that sentence.
The burnout is actually nuts🤣🤣
I'm itching to do an entire tyre (or tyre, depending where you are in the world) 😂
I'm from London and that would be awesome👍🏻
Thanks Tony! You are awesome!!
That junction at 35 seconds Strawberry Lane is where I got knocked off my e-bike three and a half years ago, and received a tibia plateau fracture. Happy days!
Very happy day mate...... you're alive which is what matters 😊
Nice burnout!
This is absolutely fantastic! When I would have some resources, I would do the same :) Love the "power box" It deserves some yellow flash on it :) Poweeer!
Also glad you are not on stock tires. Too bad the best one are only 152mm inner and it won't fit without rim modification :/
Adopt tires from faster scooters to 156mm would be awesome. At least one 10"x2.25 and one 10"x2.50 versions. These makes awesome squeeeks on the asphalt.
There are some front wheel rims with integrated drum brake that you could try. Not a fan of having the instant lock on the front, drum brakes aren't very fine, but I'd guess it's better than just ebrake.
It would be great if after you've tested all this and found a simplified way of building this mod if you could create a patreon or some kind of lowish price donation method of being able to build this scooter in depth with the moda and tutorials ect. i think there would be a pretty decent demand for it.
There is a much simpler and cleaner way of building it but the trouble is, it would cost a lot more. I'm still looking at suitable controllers which would fit inside the chassis but space is rather limited.....I'll get there one day 😁
@@Vortecks But i mean, coming from someone who's in the UK who has the same parameters and only a mediocre understanding of electronics. what you're doing right now is really cool. using affordable and chinese parts to modify and provide something that is cheap and in some places is a legit challenge to actual taxable transportation. the standard scooter is a great thing to start with, but for many people such as myself or even students and lower income people trying to reach local jobs, education and family it looks ideal. it was only an idea but perhaps when you've honed and simplified the idea it would be mutually beneficial to your subs and yourself, :)
Also, cheap is good... So long as it's stable the vast majority of people aren't looking for really expensive ways of modding E-scooters, even if they are easier to mod. Most people in my experience want a cheap usable replacement for a shortish daily commute. The standard scooter is okay but it wouldn't compete with even a pushbike.
@@DeAtHaToMiC88 I've drilled it down as low as possible but it's still costing around £250 for the controller. Adding the cost of the battery and BMS, that's around £380 to make it as fast as the one I've built.
I've decided to get the controller and I'll be starting to do the instruction video soon (for anyone wanting to do the same). On the plus side, it should all fit into the chassis so it'll be even more unsuspecting when I blast past people at 40mph.
Edit..... 15.5mph 🤣🤣
i have a couple of ebikes - overdriving the hub motors just like you. ive drilled holes on both sides of the hub motors - it makes a huge difference to coooling. "grin technologies" have a huge 2 hour video on hub motors and they extensively test cooling options
Fantastic there goes Tony again whizzing down the road on his scooter.
Yeah but...... what's next?
Hey mate. Love your videos. Uhhm I have a question.. can you run a 36volts hub motor. With 48 volt controller and 48volts 21AH battery.?
Generally, the 48V motors are identical to 36V motors but they mark the price up. There will be some exceptions though and I don't know what manufacturers produce what anymore.
I'd say yes, it's ok to do it but please keep an eye on the temperature of the hub.
I was waiting for this!
I have something else coming soon - it should make it even more stealthy looking 😊
So is it essentially like an additional motor?
or a upgrade for the breaks?
It adds speed and cools the motors basically or just the back/front motor?
great vid mate , i enjoyed it , even if it was testing . well done
Cheers Roy 😊
Tony are you able to share any advice on where to find some good spec and correctly priced 18650 cells??
mine only runs the stock 350w but after you have been riding the thing for a while you cant touch the wheel. so just be careful you don't over-do it and burn the windings up.
I loved the video! I have a few questions. What is your camera? Where is your microphone located?
I personally use a phone with a holder on my helmet, it looks kinda bulky but it does the job.
Though it shakes a lot and there is a lot of wind coming in to the microphone, I fixed the shaking issue (not perfect).
I still need a good microphone that I can connect to my phone, if possible could you give me the link to yours? :)
Tonys mic sounds really well.
Try this..... ruclips.net/video/E2gG-vhM2RI/видео.html
I'm thinking of doing it...for torque, not top speed. I am not interested in reaching more than 30 kmh, I just want decent slope performance and avoid a burning motor.
Vortecks hahaha yep it wheel spins 😂😂 I’m subbed. 👍🏽😜 that scooter is wicked mate.
Is it possible to make a scooter this fast without the sabvaton ?? By using a different controller maby ?? Thanks
Yes mate. All will be revealed in a future video (if/when the parts arrive).
Vortecks amazing cant wait
Tony have u seen the vruzend kit on ebikeschool .com utube . Please give a review as this might making large batteries a fair bit easier.
How many miles did you do?
I'm not aware of how these are bulit but going the high speeds (15.5 mph) that you travel of, you could get some wider bars. This would reduce speed wobble and decrease twitchiness 👍 that scooter looks like a blast 😂
I've already got some wider bars, I haven't got around to fitting them yet 😊
Wonderful machine
Great little video, what's the outro music?
Definitely going to look into doing this on mine 👍
Don't look into it......just do it!
Wait.... don't do it, it's not safe 😂
Hello Vortecks, you seem to know a lot about this, I have a question: say I have an escooter with a battery, let's say a 10S4P battery with a battery management system. I wanna increase the range so I get a second 10S4P battery with BMS and I connect the batteries in parallel. Is that OK, or can there only be one BMS?
You can wire them in parallel with a BMS in each pack, no problem. The only thing I'd warn about is the pack voltages must be the same before you wire them together.
@@Vortecks Yes, that goes without saying. I saw a video that said if the voltage is a tiny bit different, there will be a small current from one battery to the other. Then the BMS will think it's charging and stop the scooter. I mean when it's a smart BMS like the Xiaomi has.
@@Patiboke It's not the danger of the scooter stopping, it's the danger of destroying a BMS. If you have different voltages, one battery will immediately start to charge the other at very high current. It's best to get them as close as possible before you plug them in.
I've seen bad things happen when people plug an empty battery into a full battery but it's quite amusing when they don't know what to do 😁
Drill some big holes in motor casing for better cooling and than you also be able to check actual motor temp i bet this windings are well over 100 deegres Celsius after this run
You could use infrared thermometer to check the temp after drilling the holes. Casing will be much cooler then actual copper inside the motor so your measurements is inaccurate. Unless you inject some ferrofluid or whatever is called checking casing temp is pointless
45 speed?) great job man
Nice one mate 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Cheers mate 😊
Very nice camera quality. What are you using?
360 camera is a GoPro Fusion and the helmet cam is a Firefly Q6 😊
Would the ASI BAC855 be able to fit inside the frame? And is there any possibility of adding a heat sink to the motor at all? I've been wanting to swap the crappy BMS on my 20s7p 18650 pack so I can use your app but I'm not sure where I should buy it from.
I've got a surprise coming up very soon - I've found the perfect controller that will fit inside the frame.
If you want the VBMS app, it's on Google Play and the BMS is available from Aliexpress goo.gl/XyREKM
@@Vortecks I assume there's no downsides to getting one rated for more power? My battery can only do 70 amps continuous but would it be better to get one that can handle more or are they physically bigger or something?
I have a question can you replace front light with something stronger than 1 wat bulb or no?
Saw a mod where some one put some fins on the wheels to cool the motor!
hold on :D :D nice burnout ! :D
damn that looks fast !!
Yup, it is 😊
Hi did you make an app for the xiaomi 365
It's fantastic
hey dude, same guys from croatia i think are selling an adaptor to keep the disc brake on the rear, you're bonkers running that without a mechanical brake. m365 custom parts on facebook check them out they have a cover for the motor with a disc adaptor.
Best kind of mad. Measure 60ft time should be easy to measure out and film it to get the time. That helmet gonna confuse anyone seeing you stopped 😂 need it tho
A fucking sabvoton strapped onto it lol legend
does anyone do the conversions to this speed ?
i want to do this to my scooter coz i go to work with it but i dont like 25km/h coz in hills its struggling
would love to see a modded nanrobot d5 to reach higher speeds and range that would be cool
definitely 3d print some cooling fins for it or get the ones pirate makes
Speed holes prevails over all in price and performance ;)
Gloves, please wear them.
Top speed??? Stop teasing us!
I haven't hit the top speed yet, there's no point in revealing how fast it goes until I've given it as much as possible. So far, it's 38mph but that was off road....... on road tests are always below 15.5mph 😉
@@Vortecks Hahahahahaha
You thinking of selling the scooter once it’s completed?
the motor would prob overheat within 10km
Just went looking for the max speed. 😅 15,5 mph/24kis the regular speed. Then I saw 27.7kh/17mph shit that's slow mate! Just went riding to day got 31.77kmh/19.74mph and that is stock! No hardware changes only sofware. And tested with GPS
But can you do wheelies?
Can you link me to the controller you used
What battery specs ?
tony.... swearing????? never lol :D .. love it tony
It's a bit of a shocker but yes, I have been known to swear on occasion 😂
👍.
Ngl I sped up my scooter today and wrote off 4 times. I had a drink but ... yo it’s too fast just leave it at 15mph 🤣 when you zatt and it gives way you will learn
I need u to make that happen to my 365pro
⚡⚡⚡
Vortecks you wanna sell this scooter ?? Or you able to email me a parts list
Your a funny guy still it looks like your going well fast lol
You'll have a reason to say " read the fucking manual" 🤣👌🏽
Yeah, I'll have to get me one of those T-shirts that says RTFM now 😂
No brakes ?
No cable
No Brake..Suddently a power failure can result in total brake loss :/
android 8? that's from 2 years ago...u may need that update to 10
They no banned in england now m8
Does it wheelie? 😂😂😂😂👍👍👍😎
Urmmmmm............... YES! 😊
40 Amps wow
how fast does it go in km/h
27,580
can you share your controller thanks
It's a Sabvoton SVMC72150 but I've since changed it for a Phaserunner ruclips.net/video/5MpY2gyEE90/видео.html
3:34 go get yourself a really cheap thermocouple man, they tend to work with controllers and you can set thermal rollbacks and all that ;)
No need to baby it so much, you’d be able to just go for a seriously abusive ride knowing it looked after itself, get home, check the logs and make changes where you need to :)
At least I’m pretty sure the sabvoton has those features, if it doesn’t, it makes the Phaserunner a far better option for both space and configurability
5:25 damn man, you’re hauling like mad there 👌
6:50 if you go any wider you’ll just be increasing the contact patch for the tyres and thus increasing the rolling resistance, I think you’ll find quickly that it’ll add quite a bit of waste heat due to the increased power requirement. :)
8:11 I like the idea of a variable brake, the harder you pull the brake the higher the regen, this was implemented with the Addaptto gear for ebikes (I bet you knew about this already), go throw a real ebrake sensor on your brake and enjoy some mappable braking curves, don’t be afraid to go to max amps at full braking, you’ll only get thrown a few times until you find the comfortable spot (start high, it’s safer then starting low and not having enough braking power)
Leave the swearing in lol, does it feel as safe as a bike Tony?
Does it shit - it's lethal! 🤣
Yay 😁 Bollox 👻
Just bought a pro done 200 miles for £300
I never even did 100 miles on mine before I ripped it apart!
@@Vortecks best thing to do lol I remember when imy gran bought me a TV for my 10th birthday, that day after stripping it down I learned that 240v hurt like a bitch lol, take this opportunity to thank you for the videos and the laughs, and the down to earth way you communicate keep up the good work Tony, now I better get back to try find out why my rear hub judders then no power, take care
Hmmmmm I just a Kugoo g-booster and my old Xaiomi M365 is experimentable whats a guy to do 🤷♂️🤣
That's a big face plant if you fall off a scooter at those speeds - much prefer your ebikes pal.
2wd please!
It is 2wd...
post COVID19 if i live, i want a sleeper like that, :)
Why try make this shit faster and just buy a new faster one ?
