    I’m surprised you got 25R instead of 24L since Delta’s terminal is on the north end. Longer taxi-out.

      @@ecoRfan it has been more and more common lately. It started around the time they did construction on the 24’s. I have heard LAX ATC say that it depends on the SID your flight is assigned. Like the DOTSS Two Departure which wraps around the southern coastline of LA/Long Beach you will be assigned 25R for departure. That said I have still had some DOTSS Two departures from 24L and 24R in the last year. Might also have something to do with the recent near mid-air incidents that had with parallel and back to back departures but that is purely speculation and I have nothing to back that up.
