We need more info about Leyton Hightower, is just so interesting why and what has he been doing all this time, and by the way, wasnt his daughter which is said to be a witch sealed up there along side him?
We know from GoT that there is a book that mentions the genealogy and descriptions of people in various houses. So, they must have some system to update these things at least in their main version of the book in the Citadel, even if every other copy like in KL is not. Imo, if Rhaegar and Lyanna were married then the septon might have sent a note about it to Citadel as a record. If such an entry had existed, then most likely the Maesters or the Hightowers would have buried this news after the rebellion had succeeded as the news didn't have much value and would just anger the new king. Annulling his previous marriage was not necessary imo as Aegon himself had 2 wives and since the time of King Jaehaerys the faith reached an official settlement with the crown that normal marriage rules of the faith don't apply to Targaryens.
Aw dang; you missed my question. I submitted it late so I suspected that could happen lol. Anyway, I'm slightly more optimistic than most about how Sam will fare when Euron attacks Oldtown. When Sam is introduced to Marwyn's other t.a.'s, Lazy Leo is using the glass candle and says he's looking for naked women when asked what he's searching for. We know Euron sacked a castle in the Shield Islands (I think it was), threw himself a feast, and forced the women to serve his crew while naked. So putting it all together, what if Lazy Leo wasn't just perving out and he was watching that feast because Marwyn and his t.a.'s have been monitoring Euron's doings? If they have been, that group could be more prepared for Euron's attack than we think. To my mind, it makes all the sense in the world for them to be watching Euron given how great of a threat he is. I could be wrong though. Another reason why I'm more optimistic about how Sam will fare when s--t hits the fan is because Sam's group has a faceless man on their side. As long as that faceless man is with them, I think they'll be okay because that person won't let himself get killed. And if that faceless man depends on Sam for his own survival in any way, he won't let Sam die either. In any case, this Oldtown plot will be pretty intriguing going forward that's for sure. Great video Grease.
My guess is that Euron doesn't really understand what he's dealing with. He thinks he can warg krakens and control magic because of his awesomeness. It's possible that the Battle of Iron & the Battle of Blood will be opposites: no one will die in the Siege of Storm's End, but everyone will die in the Siege of Oldtown. My reason for thinking it is that Victaryon & Euron occupy the same space in the story. Victaryon was supposed to be a throw away character, but GRRM likes writing him so much. Euron being able to rule a shoal of squids would lower drastically the dangers of using magic, which was drilled on us with all the tragic Targaryen botched spell casting.
I spend most of my YT time watching ASOIF theories tht im starting too think GRR is doing the same and changing shit due too spite. Writes a chapter, looks online and its already wrote... bin !
I think asoiaf become a bloated mess that GRRM realized that will take more than seven books now and it just ain’t happening unless he season 8’s some events 🤪
I do hope he hijacks one of Dumbnerys’ dragons cause it would be amusing to see her lose them, he could’ve been the greatest tv villain ever but dumb and dumber wanted more of a Jack Sparrow Euron.
The horn being able to claim a dragon is just the idea plot device to not just swing the power balance but also give Daenerys plenty of reason to chase or flee across the continent.
Samwell the slayer will defeat the fraud Eruon in single combat.
I really hope we see krakens! But I doubt that Sam will cure Jon Connington's greyscale.

I love your "ask anything about ...." posts. They also keep me from trying to record videos based around my couple ideas or questions lol

Yeah unfortunately when you commented on the post I was already done editing the video!

Dorne and Pyke have too many active characters
