  • China’s Chang’e Six lunar probe has returned to Earth with the world’s first rock and soil samples taken from the far side of the moon. The probe landed in the Inner Mongolia region on Tuesday. The samples are expected to include 2.5 million-year-old volcanic rock and other material. Francisco Diego from University College London has more on the significance of this lunar mission.

I just saw that Sky News in the UK also broadcasted this news. A British guest asked the host: China has gained a certain advantage in the moon landing competition with the United States. Will they use the moon as a colony next? This is very sour, very malicious, and also very interesting. A typical British person, in history, would turn a place into a colony every time they went, believing that the Chinese must have the same idea. I can understand why they think so from different perspectives. Dogs must also be confused when they see human behavior: why don't people with these two legs smell each other's buttocks when they meet like what we do?

I have watched interviews given by this Professor Francisco Diego from University College London on several occasions. So far he is THE ONLY person who is not Chinese ethnic that speaks on this Chang'e 6 thing and related topics with full scientist mindset and mentality and completely without any innuendo or insidious intent that the West bloc should emulate. BRAVO to Professor Francisco Diego from University College London.

@@cosmoray9750 , When the piece of news regarding helium leak hits headline, the first thing that struck me was the Space Shuttle Challenger explosion, which could have and should have prevented when the fact was that the contractor and the NASA staff/engineers in charge KNEW FOR FACT before the launch that there was a leak in the gasket between two stages of rockets (or two segments of the rockets that were sealed/glued together), and yet they just went ahead blindly launched the thing into sky. In my personal opinion, what happened in the Space Shuttle Challenger explosion amounted to "murder," NOT manslaughter, let alone accident.

China always thinks ahead even ten years from today. It’s plan to land on the moon has been thoroughly planned as to where the lunar base should be set up. The far side of the moon is a challenging site for a landing but it is also very interesting for scientists as it has never been seen let alone explored by humans. China has proven with Chang’e 5 mission its capabilities to land and return completely autonomous and Chang’e 6 proves the usefulness of the lunar orbiter the Queqiao 2 as a preparation for the landing of the taikonauts in 2030.

It is so nice to see that China is so generous with sharing these rare moon samples with everybody interested. China truly resembles the bright side and the dark side of the moon in everything that she does. Consider her dark side when it comes to the South China Sea and other land and sea grabbing attitudes with this generous offer of samples from the moon. I hope this great nation will change her approach and choose to be the bright side only and we will have a really nice world to live in without having to look over our shoulder all the time.

Why would China want to discuss an amicable solution with affected nations to a right that is totally theirs in the eyes of international law? This displays the arrogance and the bullying might that China uses not to mention the barbaric methods like axes, machetes, sticks and the like and then colliding with the Filipino boats and saying that China acted professionally. They behaved like thugs and the world saw it on video. Thanks anyway for your show of patriotism. I do not blame you for being so.
