    Thank you for this, I will be doing yoga more often💕 for anyone watching this, you are real, what you are feeling is a form of anxiety and anxiety is all in your head! Everyone around you is real and are experiencing the same things you are. 🤟🏽 I love you

    This is on the older side, but it's still helping people to this day, and I think that's so incredible! Today was the day I decided to do something about my DP/DR and take my life back from this terrible condition. I couldn't help but cry when you would take the time to tell me I was safe and supported and here. Thank you for doing what you do. I think I'll try to do this every day!

      Small Friend Save I saw this comment and ended up watching your video of all your little buddies. You are so cool and funny! I can tell how much you love them and how knowledgeable you are about their care, and the notes you wrote on the video cracked me up. I'd love to see more, including an update on Pascal.

    "I am grounded. I am supported. I am connected to my body and this world. It is safe for me to relax." Thank you, Malia. I will definitely revisit this video. It has helped tremendously with dissociation.

    Omg! My therapist recommended yoga for my daily depersonalization and she said to focus on poses that put the head below the heart since scientifically that tends to reduce your heart rate and calm your nervous system. I've been trying to find a sequence that maximized that, and yours is more than perfect! Thank you so much, thank you. I finally feel like I'm seeing thru my own eyes and senses and my skin/muscles/body are so much less numb now. This is so cool and exciting!! 😃

    Hey Malia, thanks so much for this! I usually find guided yoga classes confusing and overwhelming to follow (mostly because of being so dissociated from my body), but I find you very relaxing and all of the breathing instructions are really easy to follow. I always feel much more grounded and connected to my body and breath afterwards :)

      Does this routine come under Restorative yoga?

    • @maliayoga2879
      @maliayoga2879  8 лет назад +2

      Heena Siddique no this would be considered hatha yoga. I found that I needed a mixture of gentle hatha yoga to work my body and bring me out of my worrying mind, and restorative yoga which would help to calm the body by not moving much. I also have a restorative vid on my channel. See which works best for your body. Hope that helps!

    • @maliayoga2879
      @maliayoga2879  8 лет назад +2

      YON MICHAEL I would do this just whenever you're feeling a lot of anxiety or dissociation, so that it can help remind you that you're in your body and take you away from any ruminating thoughts. I do a grounding routing like this about 2x per week myself. Hope it helps!!! 🙏
