- Hey everyone-
This is a beginner grounding yoga sequence for panic attacks and depersonalization that will help to ground us back into our bodies when we're feeling "up in our heads."

Thank you for this, I will be doing yoga more often💕 for anyone watching this, you are real, what you are feeling is a form of anxiety and anxiety is all in your head! Everyone around you is real and are experiencing the same things you are. 🤟🏽 I love you
This is on the older side, but it's still helping people to this day, and I think that's so incredible! Today was the day I decided to do something about my DP/DR and take my life back from this terrible condition. I couldn't help but cry when you would take the time to tell me I was safe and supported and here. Thank you for doing what you do. I think I'll try to do this every day!
Small Friend Save I saw this comment and ended up watching your video of all your little buddies. You are so cool and funny! I can tell how much you love them and how knowledgeable you are about their care, and the notes you wrote on the video cracked me up. I'd love to see more, including an update on Pascal.
"I am grounded. I am supported. I am connected to my body and this world. It is safe for me to relax." Thank you, Malia. I will definitely revisit this video. It has helped tremendously with dissociation.
i felt quite euphoric/happy in the middle of the practice, it made me realize that i can do it, i can find myself again and i can be happy and proud of who i am, thank you so much for that💕 (sorry for my english, it’s not my first language :>)
Hello. Thanks for that. really enjoyable. For 25 minutes I wasn’t freaking out about my purpose or existence - who would have thought?!
that's amazing!! I love to hear that!
Thank you for this, full of living kindness and a soothing, nurturing voice. I'll be doing this one more often. X
Thank you so much, I’ve recently been struggling with crippling panic attacks and intense feelings of depersonalization and disassociated feelings. This helped me, and reading the comments made me feel like I wasn’t going crazy and that I’m not alone. ❤️
Also your voice is super calming 🥰
@@sandy444able Hi, would you like to chat with me?
Isolating in line with Government restrictions over Corvid19/Corona virus ...this is exactly what I need
Omg! My therapist recommended yoga for my daily depersonalization and she said to focus on poses that put the head below the heart since scientifically that tends to reduce your heart rate and calm your nervous system. I've been trying to find a sequence that maximized that, and yours is more than perfect! Thank you so much, thank you. I finally feel like I'm seeing thru my own eyes and senses and my skin/muscles/body are so much less numb now. This is so cool and exciting!! 😃
i also do for dersonalization
That was very nice. Quiet and calm voice helped with my anxiety too!
Thank you so much! I'm struggling with depersonalization in my life right now and doing your yoga practices helps so much!!
I'm so happy to hear that!! Hope you keep at it!

This video has been helping me with a rough time. THANK YOU MALIA💗
Hey Malia, thanks so much for this! I usually find guided yoga classes confusing and overwhelming to follow (mostly because of being so dissociated from my body), but I find you very relaxing and all of the breathing instructions are really easy to follow. I always feel much more grounded and connected to my body and breath afterwards :)
Very helpful I keep coming back to this practise and it really helps. Thank you Namaste 💖🌻

Thank you for making this video again!
Was looking forward to this. :)
Heena Siddique yay! This sequence is a bit different from the first one but should hopefully still be helpful 😊 enjoy!
Does this routine come under Restorative yoga?
Heena Siddique no this would be considered hatha yoga. I found that I needed a mixture of gentle hatha yoga to work my body and bring me out of my worrying mind, and restorative yoga which would help to calm the body by not moving much. I also have a restorative vid on my channel. See which works best for your body. Hope that helps!
thank you :)
I love the yoga sets you do, but is it possible to remove the ads from your videos? There were 5 ads in 19 minutes during one of the videos. Thank you!!!

lucy francesca yay I'm so glad! 🙏🙏🙏
How many minutes/ hrs per day and how many days/week should I do this to see result?
YON MICHAEL I would do this just whenever you're feeling a lot of anxiety or dissociation, so that it can help remind you that you're in your body and take you away from any ruminating thoughts. I do a grounding routing like this about 2x per week myself. Hope it helps!!! 🙏
Thank u lots for taking the time to explain about this grounding technique. I'll try this and hope it will work.
thanks, you're the best ;-)
Kyleyjlazy Kyleyjlazy thanks for your support!! ❤❤
I noticed most people in the comments are women, is it because women are more emotional and therefore more likely to suffer anxiety and depersonalization?
