Does Sony XPERIA 1 IV support 4:2:2 RGB video recording like iPhone 13 Pro and Pro max?
For a phone it looks v impressive, great job. I have two quick queries.. does it shoot SLog 3 or Cinetone, and storage, can it write to removable SD cards or are we filling up expensive internal data. If it can genuinely intercut with an FX3, 6, 9 it becomes a whole lot more useful.
1.It can't shoot in Slog but it support HLG format
2.it doesn't have s cinetone color profile but it have Venice Cs look in Cinema Pro app (Color Preset) i think you will get similar result
3.This phone have expendable storage but it can't write data to Micro Sd card while recording video because the spees of Micro sd card is not fast enough but you can transfer the data to sd card later

You have disappointed me with the Xperia 1 ii, I'm not a sucker again. Your philosophy is that hardware has its own dedicated software. For my Xperia 1 ii I only got the transition to Android 12 and just security updates. Absolutely nothing else. It's good that my daily driver is Note 20 ultra, I also have the Note 10 plus - even that is miles better than the Xperia 1 ii. The Xperia 1 iv is just a variation on the same theme. I will upgrade to the S23 ultra next year. Sorry for giving you a chance, Sony. Wasted money.
Yeah, in order for me to switch to Sony, I need 4K 240 fps and 1080P 480 or 960 fps. 👍

Plus I’m sure the IPhone 14 Pro will get 4K 120 or 240 so Sony won’t be the king for long in that regard unless they go on the attack.

Very disappointed in Sony bought 2 new Sony Xperia cells a few years back , in a month both phones locked up so I was unable to use them contacted support several times over 3 years never getting any help or replacement then warranty ran out so Sony said there was nothing they could do for me .
£1299 sorry but,it's far too expensive,£999 would be more realistic,if you can give away headphones worth nearly £300 then you could knock this off the price.
