My thoughts for countering the balls: Grab energy absorption on the melting points too, and put hackers behind them. While the balls and melters are tanking each other the hackers can flip things.
I feel like literally anything else by red would have worked. he already had the rhinos. any EMP unit would be ok. ANY flank. more crawlers. Im not high elo but i was really confused why red just.. let them be.
@@vulpex4105 Yeah, there were a lot of viable options, but the guy didn't start reacting until the balls were level 6 or 7 each
@@vulpex4105 I think from various replays I've seen it can become very easy for a player to become too focused on one aspect of the fight. Sometimes you become so focused on killing off a specific area of the fight you forget about the other options. You've all come up with great counters but it can be difficult to remember some of these in the middle of a scrap.

Acid double-shot scorps would eat these things for breakfast. Lvl 4 should be enough to oneshot the entire pack. Lvl 2 will kill them in 2 shots, obviously.
my answer would be emp phönix or emp tanks, maybe inc fangs would be fine to with scorpions in the back
What about the photon coating making steelballs immune to acid ?
My counter to those balls: ALT+F4 😀
I think the most meme thing you can do with damage sharing is energy absorption balls being reinforced by war factories. It probably requires low mmr to work though 😅
