Hi Gary. I attempted to find a private path to connect with you. However, this seems to be the only convenient way to share an observation. You appear to have what may be a jugular vein distention on your right neck near the collar of your shirt. That kind of ballooning can be an indicator of heart failure. I do not mean to embarrass you, but I'd also be unhappy with myself if I did not let you know about the symptom. You may already be aware. Regardless, I hope you remain healthy and keep making videos.

It’s called a flat crown & it’s becoming all the rage? In fact I hv not installed any crown for over a yr ? Meaning normal 45/45/ or 38/52 , it’s all flat with a shadow line!
If you follow Brent hull in Al his research crown does not show up until the mid 1900’s ? Crown is a modern add on ? I truthfully don’t like it! Flat yes !

I was looking at a book on colonial homes in Virginia that are pre revolutionary war. Crown molding in every home. are you speaking of crown in relationship to pediments?

@@garystreigler3495 hi Gary it’s in relation to a recent video Brent Hull (Hull Woodworks) restores and builds older period homes. He referenced a book where everything was number and it had no reference to “crown moldings” . Pediments are a different subject. But at the time I was shocked however he goes into great detail about Crown “being a later modern item” added to rooms? Interesting I think I might hit him up ?
So pre revolutionary war crown was present in Deep South homes !
Brent is a great guy and has really interesting stuff but ?
