I absolutely love DMS's. They are one of the best warrior models in the game IMO. There are so many crazy, incredibly powerful tactics you can do with their ability and they are excellent when you can get traps. Against most non-elf armies, they are wounding on 4's or 5's. Against many evil armies, if you have a Wraith or Gulavhar (Harbinger), you will likely be wounding on 3's.
Thanks J Macc :) I might need a smaller saw, that hacksaw isn't always the easiest to use. But it can be therapeutic to saw pits off of miniatures. As you can see they were all parts that weren't being used, but now they are playable miniatures. The dwarf is my favourite also. I was tempted to make a hobbit one but I couldn't find the right parts.
@@windrushwargamers2745 there are quite a few profiles that exist but dont have a model (at least not in print), I've been thinking of doing some conversions on these but my skills are not near yours!: --citadel guard conversions to be mounted, --mounted high king Gil Galad, --mounted Isildur and Elendil, --mounted orc shaman on warg, --warg rider captain (been thinking of doing this on a metal warg rider with a head swap and weapon in the air), --mounted rangers, --moria goblin prowlers (although I think there are now some really good 3D printed sculpts of these) ones I have done that I'm fairly happy with are fountain court guard to hold a banner, plus add shields, and I have converted some orcs just for variety, I also converted a faramir mounted with lance
@@pookelywoo3954 Thanks Pookely. you are too kind. But I am sure if you gave those conversions a go you would be able to do them no problem! I made some Citadel Guard mounted conversions a while ago. They were some of my first. I would maybe want to update the poses and the paint scheme to where I am now. I might make a video out of it :) All of the suggestions would all be fun, the mounted Gil Galad would be the most tricky I think. The pose with the spear up would make it a bit awkward.
Awesome project! I was thinking of converting my own specters because of the limited poses, so this was a great video. Definitely going to check more of your videos and probably sub later!
Thanks Diamanti88! Let me see some photos of your conversions if you make some spectres- it would be cool to see them for further inspiration. Quit teasing and subscribe already :)
@@windrushwargamers2745 Subscribed! Oh, and my conversion idea is to turn warriors of Minas Tirith into specter warriors of Arnor. Their armour and shields are very similar.
@@Dimanti88 Thanks for the sub ;) That sounds like a great Idea bud. Are you planning on using any undead heads to kit bash or are you going to sculpt? They will fit perfectly with the Angmar Force. Let me know how they turn out.
@@windrushwargamers2745 probably going to use the Citadel skulls as a base and sculpt some skin on top and use some Perry miniature heads because I found some helmets that look very similar to Arnor helmets.
Look forward to it. Not really done any conversions. Nearest I’ve done was repainting a Wall-E toy to look more realistic - ruclips.net/video/Cmwi6idnE8I/видео.html I’m a big fan of lotr though and have a couple of figures to paint up 😁
Hey :) i am glad you like them. Unfortunately I haven't made a video for the riders of the dead conversion. But you can find the horses I used for it in this kit here: fireforge-games.com/living-dead/366-living-dead-knights.html
Great skill and craftsmanship
Thanks! what are you working on?
Nice work man! Love to see more people tackling Angmar!

Wow these are amazing. I've never had the balls to take a saw to a mini, that dwarf is pure kitbash
