You do the BEST “Need to Know for New Machines” videos! I’ve watched a lot of 790 Pro Videos and you brought out some other features/details that the others forgot to mention. Well done Cody - really appreciate the time and effort you put into these videos.
@@marshamiles6528 That's fabulous! I'm 73, have 6 machines, including Berninas 435 and 770QE and will buy a 790 in a heartbeat if I win the lottery. Enjoy every stitch on your new baby. Marion in th UK
Cody, thank you so much for your excellent information on the 790 Pro. I have the 790 Crystal Edition and love it. Your video is so clear and informational that I’ve been able to make the decision on purchasing the 790 Pro! Thanks so very much!
Thank you Cody! Very well explained. Does the Wi-Fi work using Premier Plus embroidery software? I also have Bernina 8 software; does it work with that version?
Your videos are always excellent, Cody! I’ve now watched this video three times and feel almost comfortable to upgrade from the 790 Crystal Edition to the Pro. However, since this is a new version of the 790, do you have any aprehensión with encouraging interested persons to purchase this first production since normally there glitches that need to be worked out.
Cody, it is now November 1 and I am interested in hearing if you are still as excited about the new 790 Pro. Although, I cannot purchase from you due to my location, I do trust your opinion. I’m seriously thinking about purchasing locally. I will need to trade in my 790 Crystal Edition, which I love.
I’d like to see more info on the directional sewing it can do. Like how it can sewing on a diagonal. I saw a quick demo in store but wondering when you may actually use that feature?
Good demo. Thanks. I am concerned about the feature demonstrated in one of the tutorials that says you must turn the machine off when working around the needle area. What’s that all about?
That’s a disclaimer so BERNINA can’t get sued if the machine sews your finger because the dog 🐶 steps on the foot peddle while your changing a foot or something. No need to stress.
I have had the 790 Pro for a while and still have yet to find an online or webinar for the 9 Designer software, I know it's a very complex tool but my dealer moved to another city and havent had a class ? do you have any videos ?
No I don’t have any videos on the Bernina software. I don’t use the software nearly as much as I have in the past so I don’t know it like i know the machines. I’m sorry! 😞
hi, I was wondering if you knew why my 790 crystal, with the 9 upgrade for embroidery, keeps saying my thread broke? It isn't broken, but I get the symbol and need to push the check mark and then press the green dot again to have it go. It only happens after it cuts jump stitches - within the same color thread that is stitching! Thank you for any help!
Cody, as always doing excellent and clear videos!!!! This machine looks super!!!! But I thought that among the improvements was going to be Top Loading Bobbin, not to stay the same. Which stitch advantage exist between loading the bobbin from the front like the Bernina 790 PRO, and loading the bobbin from the top like in Brother, Viking, Babylock, Pfaff and Janome?
Help! I’m getting an error message (video) on my 790 Pro and I don’t have a clue what it means! It’s a green piece of fabric that starts thin then thickens, with two red arrows. It’s like it wants me to adjust the foot? I’m paper piecing, using a straight stitch. Nothing complicated at all. The error message will not let me sew. I have to turn the machine off and then back on to get it to clear. Any idea what it could be? I took a video of it but don’t know how to share it.
Apparently the sound of this machine running is so terrible that video makers are afraid to show it in real time and sound! The sound of any sewing machine determines how good it is, how well the machine's mechanisms are designed, because the quieter it is, the longer it will serve you! So the new Bernina B790 PRO is an unsafe machine - its mechanisms are loud, it will not serve you well and it will break quickly! I do not recommend! 👎
Wow, thanks Cody, your a fantastic teacher, so much great detail. What I love is that you actually know what you’re talking about, you do your research. I will be waiting with bated breath for all things 790 Pro 🩵🦋🌺
I just got a 790Pro and this video was very helpful. Better than reading a user manual! Thank you Cody
Just got home with my “New-to-me” 790 Pro. Thanks so much for this awesome tutorial!

I’m 80 in June - eek! You’re still a baby!
Really good video. Actually, too good... Now I want the 790 Pro and my 770 QE Plus isn't even 2yrs old. Thank you for doing such great videos.
Excellent review and demo of 790 Plus! Amazing machine
Very well done, Cody. This goes a long way in helping me decide to buy this. My local dealer said you can upload longarm designs to the machine!

Very informative. I will refer back often.
Awesome video of this machine! Thank you so much!
Hi Cody, Can you tell me if you can save Qmatic Designs onto a USB and then transfer them to the 790Pro? Great video!

@@Jin04115 it’s true. I paid 1400 for my b325. They are great machines. Top of the line
I heard they will " take trades of your current 790+ or 800 for 10k then still 5k! I am sticking with my peacock 790+
@@shearbliss8178 well I have the 325. I’ll keep it.
