While I generally prefer on an on-deck master, the living area in there looks quite well, especially with the inverted windows helping to keep the area cool, instead of a boiler room. 😉

Tony, very nice layout for an 80 footer. I do agree that the satin finish wood look better in the salon area. High gloss finish in the cabin areas gives it a cozy type feeling.

Thankyou for this great review. ☺ Wonderful of you to give give a big shout out for Princess. I think they are cracking yachts, but I am bound to say that as I live in Plymouth UK where they are made, indeed I live a three mile drive from where they are launched after final assembly. See them all the time when they are going through their sea trials. So once again a very big thank you.

There's nothing I'd change on her. I personally would also choose the dining room over the main deck owner's suite.
One thing I always look for are hand rails, for those of us a liitle unsteady on our feet. Princess have got plenty of them, I wondered if her owner asked for more, as you don't normally see so many.
Thanks for an interesting tour Tony.

My go to yacht would always be a steel hull/aluminum super structure explorer type yacht (Bering), but if I ever did get a straight GRP boat, I could see it being a Princess. I'd probably have the master cabin on the main deck along with a hot tub because of the privacy of that set up, as I could see this being more of a party boat rather than a live aboard.

Really like it a lot. I like the country kitchen version the best because it actually has a designated indoor eating area. Rarely are you going to have 8 to 10 guests on an 80 ft yacht. The only other yacht that size that compares is the Horizon FD80 in my opinion. One is a planning yacht while the other is a fast displacement yacht. Great tour! I'm a big fan of Princess Yachts. Their engine rooms are amazing. If you ever get a chance to tour a Horizon FD80 go for it they haa great layout as well.

Hi Tony, Its nice to see the Princess X80 also on your channel with the nice and spacious salon the big galley open or closed and the big dining room at the front with that masive window and a door out to the bow with a big settee for a nice cocktail before the diner four nice cabins below all ensuite good crew cabins as well and all those tv's onboard is typical what you see on Amercan boats in Europe that is less Thanks again Tony that is a great show ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I really like this boat, and like it's current owner, I would select the option with the dining space. Having the extra living space is well worth dropping the on deck master cabin.

I prefer the high gloss. I still like the on deck master, but I can see the advantage to the dining room. I saw Nick (Aquaholic) tour this yacht with the on deck master. But, if I could afford the X95 or even the Y95, that is what I would go for.

I like the X80, but I would want the dining room upfront, but then if I look at it economical wise and want that, I could just get a Broward or Hargrave and save some money on the initial cost, spend the rest on remodel and maintenance if needed and also get a bigger yacht in the process. But that's how I think being poor and having had worked for yacht owers before, 85% don't think like that at all and would get the new yacht. Although I've worked for some yacht owners who had to grind every day and they totally think like that.

“Bodies?” Well at least they’re still with us! You could have said “souls” like the airlines which to my mind means that they’re all dead…😊 Ex-air-military? That explains your exemplary manners. Now I understand more about you with that slip-of-the-tongue, than asking a precise and confrontery question. Sir, I would like though for you to consider being more forceful when agreeing to perform a walkthrough on these yachts. Meaning to ahead of time get certain things clear with the brokers, as, you are performing something that they donot…Marketing their yachts in a more and precise common and human way. All areas. My reasoning for this is that I am looking for to purchase a yacht. With Covid (and my personal health) your videos along with others’ make viewing a pleasure without needing to go through confidentiality and alike. Mostly I view these videos with intent not just enjoyment. Also being at least twenty-hours from Palmie (Palm Beach, Florida (Brisbane, Australia)) I save on air flights. I so Thank You. DJ 😊
