Gorgeous car! The Spyder and GT4 are so balanced. It is fast but not overpowered. The only downside is the top operation which makes it hard to daily drive. I would even ( cue the haters ) get it with a PDK.
Yeah these cars are amazing! The top to me ads character. And I don't think most owners of these have the top up much. It's more of a dedicated roadster
It’s far too rowdy to daily and the seat is roughly 5 inches from the ground. Even with the comfort seats you won’t like getting in and out. Folks with experience with t-tops or targa tops or no roof at all will love this roof setup. My roof has been up 3 times in 3 years and I live in Ohio. It’s the best driver’s road car ever made, but it’s made for spirited driving and that’s it, it’s not a commuter whatsoever.

Huge fan of Porsche, but the strap for a door handle is completely unacceptable, imo no matter if it saved 20 pounds 😂 I would go with a hard top anyhow and a better interior layout!!
Yeah it's definitely a gimmick of 'weight savings'. Especially on a car that has Navigation and an AC Compressor lol. It looks coo tho and makes you feel like a race car
@@BrosFOURRSpeed What i'm honestly sort of getting at is that when this platform came out, it was the Porche that the common man could afford. Like Porche loves to do, they have continued to inch the MSRP towards the sky and essentially alienating the exact market they intended to sell to initially. This MSRP is damn near Z06 territory as well. If i had to survey a good swath of folks, i think a good majority would say that the Z06 is 10x the car for nearly the same money.
@@MikeBaloga Well I would actually disagree. And my reasoning is, I drove a C7 Z06 on this same day, that review is already up. And you can't use any of the power on the roads. It breaks loose easily and honestly, I'd rather have the Porsche! You have so much usable power without the concerns of the back end going out. It's not always about power with a vehicle. Just like a Lotus Elise. Close to 200 HP and yet one of the best handling cars made.

Porsche makes some awesome stuff. I like the GT3 and GT4 models best.
and considering the 718 Spyder IS a soft top GT4...
Turbo S isn't half bad either 😂😅
Only downside with this car is the particulate filters (thanks Europe), $1600 over axle pipes is the fix and they sound so much better then.
I'm sure a lot of US owner will do upgraded systems
