The Mustang Convertible Turbo will work for me. I wish they would make it AWD. At one point Lincoln MKZ made a Convertible Concept Car. People went crazy over it. Of course the powers that be just ignored us. The power in my MKZ 2.0 AWD Pins me in my seat & it’s also AWD. It’s a Reserve model with all the bells & whistles. Convertibles don’t need to be on small nor expensive cars. The rest of us would like a convertible to that doesn’t have our butts dragging on the pavement. I’ve had a 2 Sebrings until the 200 ended it. My 2008 Sebring was a Steel Top. It wasn’t cheap but it was worth it. It was lousy in the snow but the 2004 is excellent in the snow.

the 5.0 V8 could do with an all aluminium small block V8 with a mild biturbo, not a full blown turbocharger arrangement . . . Ford could offer 3.4 I6 or 3.9 V8 as different drivetrain options to customers . . . the base EcoBoost® 2.3 I4 seriously needs some measure of turbocharging . . . the Mini Cooper EV sure does need more power & range . . . a 43.3 kWh - 48.2 kWh that should give it a real world range of 350 kms . . .

Don't be fooled by this electric car fad. Never will be enough electricity to power every car on the road. ICE engines that can be personally modified to the real car enthusiasts taste will always prevail. Won't be that long down the line when auto manufacturers and buyers of electric cars realize that they were played for as fools. That being said, if a person wants to deal with the issues that go along with electric cars then buy one. I for one as a 'car guy' will stay with the ICE engine.

@@automotiveterritoryI own a 2023MY 184CV ND blue cap, its “old-fashion” balanced and true driver sensations and experience are unbeatable: true lightweight compared to any PHEV or EV, 50/50 weight balance, high-revving gentle engine sound, manual gearbox and lovely stick….you can really enjoy any road no matter at what (legal) speed, just for the shear pleasure of driving. I take mine for a spin just for FUN, playing with the gear stick and listening to the engine in any curvy road, at really low speeds indeed - whilst it can really be exciting if you decide to push it, even under legal speed limits. I look forward to see how Mazda engineers match this with the next electric generation, I doubt it can be matched in some essential aspects of mine though. It might be more modern, nicer, sharper, exciting…but still missing the “old-fashion” overall experience I am afraid. Let’s see…

Hint: For the average consumer, a Mustang or Miata, or perhaps the MiniCooper, would be the ticket. In the Miata, opt for the manual transmission and take it to the twistiest road you know and have a blast. In the Mustang, don’t be fooled by all the ‘performance’ stuff. It’s not a track car (no convertible is), and while it handles well it’s not gonna hang with a real sports car on curves. So just get the Ecoboost version, and treat it is the awesome sporty cruiser that it is.

I have always contended that horsepower should be limited to 300 in an age when we realize that fossil fuels are pollutants and expensive. In the best of all possible worlds you should be able to buy a really nice car for less than $100K. $2.3M is a nasty joke for people who have way too much money and little common sense.

Mainstream north america car makers are pushing all SUV s . They are gross, expensive to repair. They are so out if style period. Now that electric cars look exciting we can build the bigger two doir coupes again. If i were a manufacturer ide be going ahead of the game. Only selling 4 doir version cars and SUVS is basically limiting buyers and thats not good. I dont see any new cars i want or would buy. I dont need an SUV in the city. I dont want an econo cross over either. Ill stick with my two door hatchback. I hate 4 door sedans. They arch the front doors and you end up hutting the tops of the doors with your head. Its painful and its something that always happens . At least with a two door the doors are bigger and you dont hit your head. Gms biggest mistake was and will be getting rid of camaro and killing pontiac was their biggest blunder of all time. Why does gm need two luxury brands no other car company has that. I would have rid Hummer, Buick olds . Kept pontiac as sport division, chev as entry level and Cadillac as luxury. Problem solved. Made sure their was no duplication period. Each division having their own models no rebranding. Gm would have been in better shape now. With Jaoan and Korea dumping their cars here and Europe doing the same our car companies suffered but it was by their own doing. They were building crappy cheap unreliable vehicles. Its a shame. I was watching it and yelling . Oh how i wished i was the big cheese when this came down. You would have seen a better gm . A trend setter not a cheap copycat company. And ford only selling trucks wtf is that about. Good luck ford. You only have the mustang now. What a huge blunder.....i dont understand north americas car thinkers. They are not going in the right direction. Next will be chrysler. This one im hokding my breath. Im not a fan of Chrysler but lets see what happens lol

Do any of these even have seats that can be reclined? Do any of these have enough leg and headroom? Do any of these have steering wheels that telescope and tilt? No. So you can forget taken them out on a long weekend roadtrip.
