This makes me so mad for so many reasons. She HAS commissions, she CAN draw, she CHOOSES to scam. I’m an artist who takes comms and I WISH I had half as many as she did, to have a platform is worth so much. /:
This was what I was thinking too. Its upsetting that artists with such a massive platform turn to scamming, they ruin their own reputation/buisness and hurt the people who wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. Why is it so hard to cancel orders when you over estimate, life issues, etc. I had to once years ago for many reasons.
The amount of lying, gaslighting, manipulation, etc. in this video (and other similar art scammers) is astounding. I don't know why its so hard to just finish the art and take only what she can handle, she would probably not be struggling as much if she did (if she even is struggling, is there any proof to any of her claims??).
But do we know they even drew any of it? They could have generated some random stuff with an AI just to make iy look like they draw, but they don't.

Finally someone talking about her - commissioned her last January (2023) not knowing how BAD it was and that this was repeat behavior of hers. Kinda took the loss knowing she was never going to do my commission and accepted her bases in exchange for what my commission was worth back in July of the same year after no wips or updates since January. Crazy people still commissioned her after so many bewares came out one after another. I'm an artist myself and this is just so unacceptable. I couldn't imagine doing this to people.

According to someone I was talking to on twitter, one of her ych/base is traced (And I wouldn't be surprised if the others were too, given the style inconsistency). It's the one with the character laying on a pentagram, but I have yet to find the original. A friend of mine potentially found it but we can't find what's the name of the artist

idk if I'm being gaslit by RUclips as I saw someone saying she made a new account with a new name but can't find the comment anymore, so I checked her TH account out of curiosity and just within an hour of typing this she's opened commissions again for 35USD.
She could've earned so much money, if she offered higher prices and actually worked. It's less stressful.
She still owes me 6 chibi pieces. I commissioned her in January of 2022. I'm still waiting. I'm so upset that she did this to so many people, and I fear I'm never going to get my artwork. I'm disabled and do not have any income other than making art myself, so it hurts to see someone take my hard earned money and just run. I can't believe it's been almost 3 years. She keeps giving so many excuses and taking on more art while shoving my pieces to the back, and I'm sick of it, to be quite honest. I'm glad someone is talking about it on here, finally!

YESSS! I’M SO GLAD YOU COVERED THIS CASE! I was friends with Pupu on Facebook for awhile. I REALLY wanted to believe that she could actually change, but she’s apparently really known in the Brazilian community as a scammer, so they came to the English speaking furry community. What she does, when someone threatens a chargeback, she’ll either give a half-a$$ed commission, or give a sketch and then ghost. She doesn’t actually work on it immediately. She will wait until they threaten a chargeback.
Quite of my few of my friends have been scammed by her, having wanted to believe she changed, and wanting to help her. As much as I wanted to believe she could change, i just couldn’t…

yup this is what happened to me. I had an issue with them with my very last commission with her, it was messy:( shes saying shes improving but i dont see it. the quality of my art piece was horrible and i wasnt even insultive to her i just wanted a refund for the poor quality and rushness, like it didnt match what her typical skill is and then finally got one.. well she was having someone else pay her refunds for her so i got it from them .. nae MC and she left fb apparently and said shes not gonna be anyones cash cow anymore and aaa yeah -- and during our messaging of how i wasnt v happy with the end product (she also never showed me wips, just the sketch then straight to "finished") she kept making v guilt trippy posts and the timing of them and our msging was a lil weird so i knew it was towards me... then purim blocked me:/ so. yeah. 😭 thats why i dont see it.. this wasnt too long ago either
@@sodapxp I’m so sorry you had that experience. It’s not fair because people like her just… make it hard for commissioners to genuinely trust artists. Even if they have a good rep.
Also, I would’ve filed a chargeback anyways because of the poor quality when it doesn’t match up with the examples. The examples are what you should expect. Not something that took two hours.
20:24 Her excuse for not checking her messages was because they gave her "anxiety". Using mental illness as a tool to defend not communicating with clients. No one could argue with her on that, or else they'd look like a jerk.
I think i only used my ASD once at work and me and my lead sat down and talked. Which was about me sometimes not doing things immediately. So i had to explain that i can't just switch from 1 job to another instantly and when i am forced to do so my mind just shuts down and basically resets and its not that im ingoring him in that time. This was a 1 time thing as it affects my job
This bitch though uses it like defence matrix and uses health issues to scam people which makes people like me seem like we use ours to get away with shit yet we don't its annoying to see this stuff.

I knew an artist who scammed ppl like this and used the excuse " you make me anxiety I don't trust you ".. They did get se ppl their owed work, but for some others they constantly made excuses and didn't do a single thing. Because, they " make them feel anxious and don't feel safe around ".... Stupidest excuse I've ever heard 💀
Genuinely her trying to claim I was sharing her bases when I had the proof that I owed the IP rights to the base I was sharing/selling was one of the most insane things I have been informed about in this fandom.
Definitely wasn't expecting to be called by name in this video, but IG it 100% makes sense since Purim tried to name drop me for falsified information (not mad at all, I was cracking little jokes with my partner about it before I was actually mentioned by name)
I truly hope this video helps add additional awareness to the severity of how much she's been scamming and how willfully she will not change her ways

Too many scammers start commissions so they can say "Oh, but I already started it." And then NEVER finish it. Asking for a refund is NEVER too late, especially if it's never gonna be finished.
If you were hospitalized, why would you take on an abundance of commissions?! That doesn't make sense.
With that much typing, she could have worked as a customer service for some insidious insurance company instead of artist.

OH MY GOD THERE'S A RUclips VIDEO ABOUT HER NOW??? I remember being friends to her (not close friends, but I remember her requesting me to draw one of her characters, I did btw). She spoke my native language, so I think that's mostly why.
When the first bewares started, I said people were just exaggerating, but as the years were passing by, I started to question a lot of stuff that she does/did. I also discovered that she's been stealing OC's, so yeah, she's not trustworthy for me anymore.
this is wild man. i do commissions very infrequently because i KNOW i am very, very slow. and when i do open them, i let the commissioners know beforehand and on my tos that like HEY! I AM EXTREMELY SLOW! I WILL BE SLOW! IM SLOW!!! i dont feel like its hard. and even then, i still offer at least a wip at least once every 1 to 2 weeks. thats basic manners and common courtesy i fear. super wild this person got business at all
I'm the same way! I'm super slow so when I do actually open for commissions I let them know, I only take a few at a time, and I don't accept payment until the sketch is done. My sketches are extremely messy so it wouldn't look good to just take that. This was crazy for me to watch

Well writing takes about 3 minutes max, so no it isn't going to do much art wise, plus doing art when u don't want to will never work since its about passion

As someone who has a chronic illness myself, I can only say that I don't accept any commissions when I'm not feeling well, but I could also draw in the hospital if there was no other option and if I owed it to so many people, I would do that.

I knew and had her added on Facebook. I wanted to see her change and do better just like she promised but she is keeping up that circle, doing the same mistakes over and over again. She blocks everyone who is in that group or has ever said something that holds her just a bit accountable. It's absolutely worrisome...

I'm chronically ill and have money problems, that's why i stopped taking coms because i can't afford any refund if it ever happens and i don't want anything to happen while i'd have work to do. People deserve better than that jee, that person is evil

tell that to all the artists on Facebook please. I refuse to use Cashapp cause no buyers protection but people be swearing up, down, left and right that it's better to use it than paypal x.x As an artist who prefers to buy art for myself and friends i can say i usually just go to deviantart for buying cause it's easier than explaining to FB users that cashapp is a red flag for buyers
I wouldn't be surprised if she was in the hospital so much. She is putting so much stress on herself with these scams. Stress just eats away at you. She has NO ONE to blame though but herself.
Correct! She cries from the stress clients place on her for their PAID FOR products, when she is literally responsible for taking that many clients on at once. Earlier this year she had a whiteboard in her rooms with 203 people on it.

i have adhd and one of my biggest fears is not being able to do a comm because of it and get into this kind of troubles. i know it's not an excuse but sometimes adhd makes the *doing* really hard/overwhelming.
yes, i've been working this in therapy. no, can't afford the meds. i close comms when i'm working on something related to my main job, but still... gives me so much anxiety.
oh my God someone gets it. this is exactly why I've yet to open comms. one day I can do 3 drawings in one day, another I just stare at my tablet for an hour and just go play genshin. I need to work more on it first...so glad someone gets it

I'm not sure if I have adhd as well since I can't really afford to maybe get diagnosed but I also relate a lot, so I tend to see situations like this as a warning of what I could become if I bite off more than I can chew D:

It's important to remember that this isn't a normal situation - this person is actively defrauding people, which is nothing to do with ADHD. Rather than worrying about ending up in her situation (which you won't!) I'd suggest focussing instead on the _kindness_ she was shown by the people commissioning work... a lot of people buying comms are artists themselves, and they understand that there can be delays. Just think about what's important to you when _you're_ commissioning work & you'll set yourself up to succeed.
Be upfront (and realistic) about your turnaround times & keep open communication channels. Maybe opt for a 50% upfront payment & 50% on completion so that you don't feel as pressured from a financial perspective... then if you're really struggling for whatever reason to get the job finished you don't have the stress of refunding.
And over-estimate your timelines to give yourself space to have off-days.... if you think you can get it done in two weeks, tell the client it's three weeks. That way, if you get it done in one or two weeks it's a great experience for the client _and_ yourself, but you're leaving yourself a buffer in case you need the extra time.
And if you're a bit stuck or it's taking a bit longer than expected, be proactive in talking to your client.... it shows a lot of respect for them if you give them the choice of what to do _before_ the due date, rather than leaving them to chase you up for updates. It also takes a lot of stress off you when you can make decisions _together,_ because you'll often find there's a solution that works for you both.
Just remember, people want you to succeed! 👍
it's insane how deep people can dig themselves, they just continuously make it worse and worse for themselves and after a point there is no coming back, imagine the mental toll it takes on you having to lie to yourself for so long that you aren't doing anything bad
I recommend you do about Kaiiros/Nobushii Arts/Sinfulcinnamonbun.
She also owes a lot of money, has not shown her face at the moment and many customers do not know about her at Toyhouse.
She has been seen making other accounts again and pretending to be a new artist when she already did that before, she has also bought Adopts from artists who upset her or who have her on their Blacklist.
She also deceives those who buy adopts from her, she receives the money but after a while in TH those who bought such a character see that it is again her property, and they can no longer do anything about it.
i second this, she’s also traced art and has started past witch hunts against artists simply because she wasn’t able to acquire ocs she wanted from them.

Its one thing if its a communicative artist, who actively gives wips, but someone like this? No.
I had issues with her, only way to get a response is to get paypal or banks to force a refund
Edit: That was my post at 45:00 for more context. A week before Christmas another artist let me down. I made a post asking for quick emergency artist to commissions, and she replied and said she could do it as she has a fast turnaround.
It started as Christmas pic but she missed the deadline by miles, she agreed to make it a valentines pic as she hadn't really started.
She missed that deadline too, so I started a paypal dispute and she eventually finished a few weeks later.
This is just like that one artist from Indonesia. Never finishing comms, yet taking more with the excuse that she needs the money for family. But every time she's called out, she changed usernames and fandoms.
Now there's an Indonesian twt acc that helps local artists by promoting their comm sheets, artist alley catalogues, etc., commissioners/buyers can send their request to them and get connected to artists, and they also have this PSA system calling out both artists and commissioners if they have been ghosting, or just haven't replied to their DMs for too long. They also have a blacklist page, if the artist/commissioner have a pattern of scamming.
She got called out by them because she's been ghosting clients, then promptly got blacklisted after many people came forward.

What is the most infuriating, it's that I, as an artist myself, can't get enough traction and rarely get commissioners. Even tho' I give 100% of myself on each piece I'm producing, yet it's not enough. And here you get this one who has a huge base of possible commissioners and the talent to do great art, but simply will ruin it all by scamming again and again.

reminds me of someone similar i have commissioned that kept giving excuses as well, at first they said they were giving birth, then they got evicted and lived with their parents, then their parents had a medical emergency then it was just whatever unrelated thing they could think of which basically boiled down to "i dont have time since i have two kids" to "my husband left me im so sad and it made me forget my drawing tablet somewhere"

The currency exchange rate with US $ being high is a big issue, bc US artists can’t get work & artists abroad get exploited or incentivized to scam. $15 seems like not much in US but in Brasil & lots of LatAm that’ll feed your family. I’m not defending her, just saying that our currency being high is putting people abroad in financial stress. In Colombia for example, the chocolate exported is sold in $ which is then transferred back to their currency, Peruvian bananas same. This ends up that Americans can buy cheap but they get little money 😢

One of my good friends commissioned her in like 2022 for one fullbody chibi and had to wait over one year for her to finish it. I was friends with her on Facebook for awhile and she constantly posts that she needs emergency funds. It was almost everyday and it was ridiculous amounts too (like $200 or more every few days).
I was friends with her for a shirt time on fb , and I got so tired of their drama. They'd claim people were harassing them , yet the "proof" they showed was mostly them guilt tripping and being aggressive with the client.
So sinfulbloody knows about the video and is calling people out for being backstabbers!! She’s going around saying “Okay then, I would like you to comment on this post if you GENUINELY like me, and care, support me or in general, just don't try to backstab me. 12:54 no matter who you are commissioning, even if they are trustworthy, I highly do believe it's best to pay the artist directly. Do NOT pay a friend's PayPal. I've done this before and the artist completely went silent on their account. After months of waiting, I messaged the email attached to the PayPal, and they apparently lost contact of said friend (whether that's true or not I could not verify).
So yeah. And like 8-10 months later they came back to their account, saw my messages and blocked me. Their account is small, so I thought I was helping a small artist out. Even if it's $30, that's still a lot of money for me, and the whole situation sucks.
Protip, unless it's like a donation comm, don't get taken in by super cheap commission prices.
Of course it's understandable that most people would flock to an artist who offer low prices. But if you think about it, by offering low prices on comms means they would have to do a lot of them just to reach a certain amount of money if they intend to use it to pay bills and stuff. They're gonna get overwhelmed, and whether they mean for it to happen to or not, this kind of situation tends to happen, where they ended up not finishing commissions yet already not having the money to refund the clients. I get that burnout and other life stuff happen, but it really doesn't matter the moment you're in possession of other people's money in exchange for a service/goods.

As someone with mental health issues, DON'T DO COMMISSIONS until you get your mental health in check.
Comms must be done wether you want to do them or not. Its t9ur responsibility. The amount of artists doing comes based off "motivation" always seem to run into this problem.
Im spending 2024 grtting myself in check before i start my own comms because its so necessary. If your MH is that bad its best not to do comms at all.
I’ve also commissioned from this artist lmao... She owes me about 30 dollars in art. The ONLY time she ever showed me anything close to a sketch was roughly a month or two later after I paid, and there was little to no communication.

In all honesty, I can't find a lot of videos like this one exposing artists who have taken years to either complete commissions or refund the patrons. I'd love to see more.
I'm chronically ill. I have weeks where everything's fine and then weeks where I'm constantly in pain and can't do anything. Guess what I don't do? Accept commissions in advance. I only accept requests during good weeks and only one at a time so if I notice any pain or issues during the commission I'm currently working on, I'm just not gonna reopen them the next day. And this way even if I end up in the hospital it will only be one person that suffers due to it.
i think something that infuriates me is like, I dont even touch my commission money till I am at a point in the comm where I can go "Yeah this is gonna be done very very soon" because it serves to motivate me to like, finish the commission.

I commissioned them July 2022 for a ych and it took me threatening a beware and PayPal charge back before they did my commission. When they did it in January 2023, it was half assed and looked nothing like my OC. I never commissioned them again.

As someone who does commissions, I do my BEST to update literally every process from sketch, lineart, flat colors and more. It’s annoying seeing artists getting shit tone of commissions and scam people. While there are small artist out there like me who gets maybe 1 commission every 4-5 months
About the abusive mother thing. As someone with an abusive mother I just wanna mention that they're not all 24/7 abusive. They can do nice things for you,buy you gifts,getting nice things ect.They just sometimes have like a switch that gose off and they go full on pyscho on you.

I purchased art from them before I saw their bewares. It took well past the weekend TAT and to the point I would bump the message every few weeks. The quality of the art I got compared to what they had provided as examples was not what I received. And on top of that much of my characters design was not right. However by the time I got it I honestly had just counted this as a loss due to being updated on bewares. Sadly those getting art even though they may get it are getting spotty quality compared to what is provided as their art examples. 😢 It’s messed up because they do have real talent as an artist but have soiled any chance of redemption due to their behavior.

I don't want to defend this person but I have to say this: As a person who has grown up with abusive parents, their mom doing their nails is not a contradiction.
Abuse isn't a constant thing, your parents can still do nice gestures at one moment and beat the shit out of you the next. My mom just made me a pizza and now my arm's hurting because she beat me up for being too loud.
I'm glad you are in a position where you can't relate to that experience but I think it's important to understand that abuse is not a black and white thing where the abuser will be awful 24/7.

All I said was that, while what you said is true, it’s obvious that what Katliente said didn’t mean she was talking about everybody’s situations, nor was she perpetuating it. She even sympathizes for these hypothetical situations before it becomes obvious she lied. If anything, I heavily encourage you rewatch portions of this video in order to realize why she said that.
Wow, this is insane. I mean, I've definitely had a "bad" commission experience with an artist before for taking 6mos+ with a piece, but they eventually got it to me. Even now I would commission them again because it eventually worked out and they were extremely apologetic and gave me extra art on top of that.
Personally i have mental issues and i love doing commissions but i never make anyone pay anything until they see a fully finished demo, i dont like the idea of making people feel like they are being scammed if i have run into a decline in my mental health. I want people i work with know that they can be comfortable even if i have issues and i dont want my issues to effect them. I want to make sure i put my all into my art and tend to take moments on other things to not let my brain go into rushing mode to finish something someone paid for. what this person did was dumb tbh, and i feel they really are just doing it to scam people, they chose to put themselves in these situations mainly because they dont give a shit and that annoys the shit out of me.. such a waste of skill honestly

we used to be ‘friends’ like 3 years ago - at that time she had created a 2nd account (which is now her main) and had started taking commissions again.
id go out of my way to help her everytime she struggled. literally giving her money, offering to help her with her commissions (by doing lineart, colouring etc), and would help her whenever she felt sad.
one day she randomly unfriended me on facebook and said that she was unfriending anyone who was talking about her.
the saddest thing about her is her best friend - they CONSTANTLY mock people who were scammed by her on her best friend’s fb account. they know each other irl and are constantly hanging out - going to the mall, going shopping etc.
anyways im sorry to anyone who was scammed by her, it took her 6 months to finish my commission and she wouldnt have finished it hadnt i messaged her about it.
