love this reaffirmation of the work we do at habitaware for our mental health community -- your pain is your purpose!!! thanks to seth godin for sharing Shawn's work. grateful to find this message and reminder to keep going. love ♥, strength 💪, & awareness 👀, Aneela (HabitAware cofounder in trichotillomania recovery)
Shawn Askinosie is a rare individual. Yet, in his day to day work and in his book and this Tedx Talk, he asks us to join him, not in his journey, but in our own passion/vocation.
What an incredible talk. Shawn says you can't find your life's path in a book or online, but when he talks, I feel like my path is right in front of me.
sorry to be so offtopic but does someone know a method to log back into an instagram account?? I stupidly lost the account password. I appreciate any assistance you can give me.
Thank you for this talk. I have just retired from a stressful automotive industry profession, and am continuing on in my vocation of spiritual direction which was what burned in my heart. I am reminded of this quote from Protestant minister Frederick Buechner: Vocation is the place where our deep gladness meets the world's deep need.

Never, ever use drum and base music again for your intros.

Sounds like your pain is coming through, can you go to the place it hurts, go there, and use it to help others who need your good words?
