I absolutely LOVE your videos and hacks! But I’d be remiss if I didn’t share my deep concern for Hack #2!! You mentioned that to spruce up holiday get togethers & parties, to sprinkle ‘therapeutic’ grade Essential Oils on the furnaces air filter. This can be a deadly hack for many of us living with rare diseases, allergies, lung diseases, immune system disorders, etc. I can attest that many families don’t share health issues with every family member & friend in their life. (A very sad fact I must admit, but that’s life.) Sprinkling EOS on a home furnace air filter means that the ENTIRE home is contaminated with volatile oils! Not just a single room, but the ENTIRE home! For many of us, we might get sick by an EOS in someone’s bathroom when used as a room air freshener, many times there are other rooms in the home that are ‘safe’ for us to retreat to. A host can easily remove a plug in air freshener, or shut off melting style air fresheners, etc. But when adding scents to a furnace air filter, this means the host would need to shut down their homes furnace and open a window to air out the home. If you don’t have a spare air filter in stock, you’d have to leave the heat off until the guest/family member leaves. Unless you have experience with these rare diseases/illnesses, you’d have no idea that there are MANY of us who get seriously ill from EOS. Instead of placing EOS on furnace filters, there are safer ways to scent a home. I hope this explanation helps you and others understand how seriously dangerous this can be to many adults AND children. Also something to keep in mind, there is no such thing as “therapeutic grade” EOS. I realize many EOS companies simply name their oils as ‘therapeutic’ in order to make them sound safer or better than another companies. And listen, I’m NOT anti-EOS in the least! Anyway, thank you for taking the time to learn a bit about rare disease/illnesses. Back to your hacks! 💜

Have a hack for you. :) after you wrap the candle with the napkin, wrap it again with Parchment Paper. leaving extra at the back to hold onto. Hold it tight and use the blow dryer. No blowing napkin, and a smoother surface after your done. :)

I learned a neat hack from the caterers I worked with when I was a wedding photographer. Add your infusion ingredients (cranberries and mint) to your container first, then ice, then the water. The ice will hold the infusion underwater longer to make sure it is all throughout. Since the spigot is on the bottom of the container your first guests won't get much flavor if the ice is on the bottom

Love all your ideas! You have given me the confidence to use power tools. I bought a hand held circular saw, a cutting tool, a belt sander and a chop saw. I actually added a board and batten wall to my kitchen. By myself when we redecorated our kitchen. My husband was so surprised and pleased. My grown sons couldn’t believe it. We had a house fire last Feb and we were living in a rental. This allowed me to work there without my family knowing it. Thanks again.

Tip: To help with the pungent strong smell of the essential oils try mixing it with a fractionated oil (i.e. coconut oil) in a spray bottle. I used cinnamon and gingerbread essential oils mixed with fractionated coconut oil and sprayed my filter and added the same to an infuser. The smell is soft and easy.

Fabulous ideas as usual! You're always an inspiration. Sometimes iI spray paint seed pods or even dried flowers like hydrangeas or echinacea pods, even rose hips. They look fabulous in garlands and arrangements evening berries are available they add a different texture and if silver or gold a very festive vibe.
What breed(s) of dog is Dolly? My much beloved dog passed away recently (she was my emotional support friend). I'm thinking of getting a puppy next spring. (I'm not quite ready for one yet. Too recent a loss.) I've been checking out different breeds and Dolly is adorable.

I ADORE your "taste". Everything is always very beautiful & elegant yet comfy-looking & inviting. I love these hacks & can't wait to implement a few this year (I'm older & a bit sickly so I don't feel like going "all out" like I usually do). So bottom line I guess is thank you so much for sharing & that I love 'em.

I live in Florida too and it's so hard to find greenery to use for Christmas floral designs. I use to always be tempted to cut the bird of paradise flowers off the bush for summer arrangements, but it would be my luck I'd get busted! I thought the garland was beautiful. Love the magnolia leaves, they are so beautiful.

Girlfriend, you are not only beautiful but super smart, too! You have really outdone yourself in your fabulous holiday ideas. Love them all but the garland centerpiece and Christmas tree napkin folding are my favorites. I put sliced lime rounds in with cranberries when serving water. I also fill a collection of old clear glass apothecary jars with popcorn, red wrapped Kisses and green licorice sticks along with other brightly colored candies (Cracker Barrel & Hobby Lobby have some old time all day suckers which I've used in arrangements) on bookcases.
Love to you & yours this blessed season...

Hi Natalee, love those cupcakes and the ones you did in a 4th July video. I will buy a plain frosted cake or pound cake cut fresh fruit on top with buttercream under the fruit and garnish it. with a slice cut out. It looks more home made. Our secret. lol. P.S. buttercream is sold in containers B.J., Sam, Costco and etc.
