Hi Markus my name's Ben and I'm an electrician but my hobby is electronics and I've just discovered your channel today. I'm really enjoying your content. I'm from chesterfield in Derbyshire and thought your accent possibly sounded like you're from notts or maybe derby, am I close with my guess? 👍🏼
Hi Ben I was bought up in a childrens home in Little longstone near Bakewell Derbyshire. we use to go to Chesterfield to spend our pocket money on saturdays. so Yes very good guess indeed. I left in 1982 but must still have that wonderful derbyshire accent. 👍
Another thing, i bought a pack of high voltage caps off Ebay from China and they were the " Chong " brand like you have in that camera, i used some of them re capping a 1960's valve amp and they are still working a year later so they can't be as bad as i suspected from such an unknown brand.
As the quality is so good.... You could use one for you tube videos.... If you Pre-programed the things you wanted to film.... I might just have to find one Haha!
That transmitter is likely microwave because it will need to transmit the RS485 signals back to the control centre (because that camera with the wiper is a 360 Vision Predator PTZ).
You can tell if its 27x zoom when you have it all wired up just press zoom + look at the tv it will have a number and a x zoom all the way out and you have your ansewer
The camera only looks in one direction at once so it is possible that it could miss something if it was set to look in a number of different places? But unlikely?
Hi. Yes it can certainly miss things but in a proper security situation you would use a couple of static wide angled cameras and then a few of these to zoom into areas of interest.
"waitting" isn't necessarily Chinglish... I've made quite a few gaffes like that in released software over the years... and if was in firmware it would be stuck like it and I'd be groaning every time something with one of my chips in it featured on a RUclips teardown. ;)
Hi Neil, thats right they were programmed from the previous owner, I set this up to a cctv hd recorder and accessed the camera menu from there and reset the masks, though i did this after making the video :-(
+DIED12 ROBLOX&MINECRAFT Yes they have track feature but I live near a busy road so it picks up car lights at night and confused so does not know what to follow.

Nice teardown man. I hope you can make other cctv and electronic security devices teardowns. Thanks from Argentina.
Seems like a well engineered nice camera system. Can't wait for the next teardown.
Thanks, this is wayyy more interesting than the dozens of bloody Iphones teardowns that appear every day on youtube....

Great! This video was like a little gift waiting for me after a stressful day!

Thanks George. Glad you liked it :-)

do you know what make/model this camera is?
Those little spinny wire things are called slip rings and I like them.
Really like all your vids mate. Very well done indeed. Keep up the great work..:)
Thankyou very much I just wish I had more time to make more but I will try my best.

most ptz camera's 95 + call to enter de menu from the ptz camera,
to change or delete de masking!
You know the equip how to work
I'm intrigued by that massive chip in the camera

markusfuller Ok that sounds good.Thanks
Very enjoyable video.
have you got a mate in the council or something?
where did you get all this stuff?
Hi I go to car boot sales on sunday mornings. its amazing the things you can find sometimes.
+markusfuller this is a 40x zoom if you watch carefully around 6.21 you are zooming out from 40x to 1x so camera is even better than you thought
Well spotted. I did not know until you pointed it out. Many thanks
Can you make these track?
Doesn't the UK have more cameras then any other part of the world?
great video!
Imagine using that as a streaming camera
Not interested in a WIRED remote
Bring on a wireless remote

cool camera:-)
thank you for a very interesting review ! :)
I feel like I'm being watched 🧐
I take it the masks were programmed in to stop the camera looking into peoples windows ect from where the camera was fixed.
