i guess im asking the wrong place but does someone know of a method to get back into an instagram account?? I was dumb lost my login password. I would appreciate any tips you can offer me!
I just got GU today because I wanted to have an updated fight with my first ever Elder Dragon back when 4 introduced me to the franchise. Looking forward to hunting this Heavenly Revolving Dragon again!
"Name: Shagaru Magala (シャガルマガラ) Title: Heavenly Revolving Dragon (天廻龍)/Heaven's Wheel Average Length: 1778.1cm Average Height: 619.9cm Foot Measurements: 136.1cm (Front Feet)/240.9cm (Wingarms) Order: Elder Dragon Suborder: Revolving Dragon Family: Magala" "Cathar's Song (1st Half)"; "If ever eyes of darkness widen A light from yonder soon will break" "But if the land the light should brighten A shadow wanders in its wake" "If dawn is sent to slay the night And chase its minions underground" "Then when dusk makes the day take Night Beneath it pinions night rebounds" "But do not cry, my sons and daughters Life must leave to come again" "And when it does, it springs like water A great reprieve to and all pain." "Turn now, Heaven's Wheel! Turn, turn, that we may heal!" (END) "Named after a mountain god within Cathar's lore, Shagaru Magala is the adult form of the recently discovered Gore Magala. While Gore Magala was almost a complete mystery, Shagaru Magala was depicted in legends revolving around a great calamity that befell Heaven's Mount long ago." Although the elder dragon itself isn't mentioned by name in said legends, the scale of a Shagaru Magala was found at where that catastrophe took place, the Sanctuary, proving that one appeared in Heaven's Mount in the past." "It presumably takes a Gore Magala a long time to reach adulthood, and the individual will head back to its birthplace to molt into a Shagaru Magala. Not only is that individual heading to its birthplace to molt, but others of its kind are as well." "Chances are only one of the Gore Magala will become a Shagaru Magala while the others won't ever get a chance to molt into one." "After molting, its feelers become horns, and it develops fully-functional eyes. While Gore Magala is a dark black in color, Shagaru Magala is an iridescent white color that radiates in the darkness of night." "Like its juvenile form, Shagaru Magala is capable of producing the Frenzy Virus in its body though it uses a mysterious substance rather than hair-like scales. Shagaru Magala also produces and releases more of the Frenzy Virus compared to Gore Magala." "When a Shagaru Magala is in the area, it'll surround its territory with a mysterious substance, creating a black mist that surrounds the entire area and blocks out the sun." "Any monsters caught within the mist will be infected with the Frenzy Virus, becoming Frenzied Monsters. These Frenzied Monsters will go on a rampage once infected and will attack all other creatures they encounter, including members of their own kind." "The infected monsters will either eventually die from the effects of the virus, end up killing each other, or, rarely, overcome the Frenzy Virus and become an Apex Monster. Most of the Frenzied Monsters will die, leaving nothing but corpses behind littering the surrounding area." "Despite this being destructive, this is what Shagaru Magala wants to happen. While Gore Magala uses the Frenzy Virus (Its scales) to see, Shagaru Magala uses the virus for two different reasons: To get rid of competition and to reproduce." "Within the misty substance that it produces are specialized properties (Suppressor cells) that are used for inhibiting other Gore Magala from molting properly. Any Gore Magala that molts within this substance will fail to molt properly, thus becoming a Chaotic Gore Magala." "Not only are suppressor cells used by Shagaru Magala, but germ cells are as well. Unlike most other creatures, the Magalas have no specific gender and they reproduce in a similar manner to a fungus." "Contained within the black mist of a Shagaru Magala are germ cells, aka its parasitic offspring, and the young will develop inside the corpses of Frenzied Monsters before eventually emerging." "This species of elder dragon lives for a long time, but their birthrate is likely low, possibly related to their genes and or the amount of prey around." "As expected, the fully grown Shagaru Magala is far stronger than a Gore Magala, and it has better control over the virus. It even can cause spires to explode from the ground when it's enraged." "Despite Shagaru Magala being the adult form of Gore Magala, the monster's claws harden with age, and they can be used like a tree's growth rings identify the monster's age." "Cathar's Song (2nd Half)": "If ever should the dead awaken Then welcome them as life reborn" "And in my heart from sleep is taken Then let it sing upon the morn" "Let all those souls be held entranced And gather to my mighty strains" "For if they die again, by chance, Their voices join the grand refrain" "Each soul shall have its time again Within hearts they still reside" "And when I sing, they are sustained From death to life, I am their guide." Thank you for always doing these, love listening to monster themes and looking for your comments on the lore of these great beasts. I appreciate it greatly
@emprah the rocket It isn't mine, as I'm simply decided shares it from the source, since not everyone able to or want to see it on Twitter directly. Yes thank you, I hope you have a nice day too.
This theme really gives you the feeling that it's the finale and that you're going up against a rival in a newer, more majestic form. Edit 2022: GUESS WHOOOOOO
He's back, and this time it's personal. It may not be the same hunter but ol' Shaggy knows full well who he's tangoing with regardless. You beat him fair and square last time, and he stands once more to finally topple his lifelong nemesis for good. Damn, I love Shagaru so much, it's literally the best thing MonHun's ever done. I'd hug him if he wasn't cloaked in Übercharged rabies.
Shagaru: You're not the same hunter I fought before, but knowing your kind and how all of you continue to fight back despite your limits... So be it then, for I will not show you any mercy. MHGU Hunter: ... It's you or me. *Prepares weapons*
Indeed. That song is not only epic It takes me back when I had the New 3DS XL with mHunter 4 ultimate I remember the Caravans Challenge Rajang Monster who's name I don't remember SHAGARU MAGALA The last one in the Challenge and you Know He's Coming Cause The Sky Turns Black.
To be fair I also want plesioth in rise just because of how iconic that monster is. I hate him with every fiber of my being. But whenever I see him i get so nostalgic about him. They shouldn't make him a key quest, but I do want him in the game, at least somewhere! Maybe he's thw monster I in of the harvest tours or something
@@blazouille2453 i used to say that about rajang in general, but the atrocity they made normal rajang in iceborne (just standard rajang, furious is actually pretty good now) gave me a newfound respect for old world rajang.
That stare-down in 4U fucking got me. He knew *exactly* who I was, and at that moment I gained a respect for this monster. Amazing design, juvenile and adult forms, fun and unique affliction, glorious fight. Fighting Shagaru greatly helped me with my spatial awareness because of the orbs he launched (that would launch their own energyballs based on where you were) Plus that rock was a godsend. I eventually learned not to rely on it for healing, but I still use it when I can't proc Polisher from my meal :D
I hate that it makes sense in every way to call Shagaru that. What with them being shiny like the sun (whose outer ring of light is called the corona) and. Well.
I am not ashamed to admit that this boss took me 6 attempts to beat, because every one of those attempts were some of the best moments I've ever had in a video game.
Makes sense. Shagaru Magala is the only monster in the series that actually sees the protagonist as an equal and respects him. In the cutscene before the fight, Shagaru Magala takes a few seconds to examine the hunter and, after realizing he is the same one that "killed" it when it was Gore Magala, stops and bows its head as a sign of respect before roaring and starting the fight.
A caller of frenzy, a cloak of light, a sheded past, a dark future, put a stop to the menace that blackens the lands, a bring peace to our home, Kindred Hunter
Yeah, they a made wild animal into an actual personal rival, which elevates it above the other monsters IMHO. Everything about the Shagaru fight just screams drama. Love it!
I'm a fiver so my first monster hunter game was world. After I completed MHW I bought MH4U since I have a 3ds and I just beat Shagaru Magala, what a fight it was, this theme is so epic and great really catches the essence of the fight. Definitely my favorite fight in monster hunter now.
@@JeanKP14 I am playing slowly and steady since I don't regularly pick my 3ds but I'll definitely going to get to G rank and I am looking forward to it :D
I cant help but shake whenever I hear this. I never beat 4, but judging from this tune, I knew it was the games final boss. So I was already apprehensive, because I was fighting it in MHGU without even knowing what I was getting into. One heroic, 30 minute fight later, suffering from Frenzy because i had no idea what it was supposed to do or how to resist it, I somehow toppled this mad beast at the top of the mountain, and Stopped the Wheel. Without dying. I proceeded to then repeatedly challenge it afterwards until I had the armor set, and the Dual Blades. It is one of the prouder fights Ive overcome and one of the reasons why I keep coming back to this series over and over again.
@@Dave_Chrome It outdid the atomspheric beauty of Ceadeus with the dark sky and glowing earth and the clouds of black and the blowing grass seeds in the wind atop the ancient sanctuary and it was SO FUCKING GOOD. Zorah and Nakarkos didn't stand a chance of matching the atmosphere of the fight, though at least one of those was still a really fun fight. Zorah I refuse to call a "fight". It was a mining expedition with cannons.
@@slavkei zorah is a cool monster, i just wish it was more interactive. one way to improve could be to have a giant arena, where zorah is targeting you specifically. you then climb over him, Shadow of the colossus style, hitting his weakpoints while dodging his magma breath and claw attacks. you could even mount his head, and his topple could leave him unmoving, perfect to strike his snout. as it stands, zorah is an awesome looking monster, but yeah, its a mining expedition with cannons.
@@demonminer8093 It could also have been just like the other leviathan-scale fights and allowed you to attack the monster everywhere. Like the Mohrans. Or Dalamadur. Or Gogma. Or Fatalis. Or Miralis. Or Lao-Shan or literally every fight in the series before they started doing these godawful canon-only elder dragons and the even worse MMO siege free-best-weapons-in-the-game-for-failing-the-quests garbage
What a majestic design, map, soundtrack... This definitely was one of my favorite fights from all Monster Hunter games. One thing to note, if you're here because of MHXX, please go back and play MH4U, I swear it's worth it...
The Irony as Gore he crushed Tigrex in the Intro, Tigrex was pretty much a rival in the intro of Freedom 2/unite where he throws you off the mountain and you climb the ranks to kick his ass, in 4u he just gets crushed
Song Of Cathar ========== Magala’s Crescendo First Verse ----- If ever eyes of darkness widen A light from yonder soon will break But if the land the light should brighten A shadow wanders in its wake If dawn is sent to slay the night And chase its minions underground Then when dusk makes the day take Night beneath it pinions night rebounds But do not cry, my sons and daughters Life must leave to come again And when it does, it springs like water A great reprieve to and all pain Turn now, Heaven's Wheel! Turn, turn, that we may heal! ========== Magala’s Encore Second Verse ----- If ever should the dead awaken Then welcome them as life reborn And in my heart from sleep is taken Then let it sing upon the morn Let all those souls be held entranced And gather to my mighty strains For if they die again, by chance, Their voices join the grand refrain Each soul shall have its time again Within hearts they still reside And when I sing, they are sustained From death to life, I am their guide. Rejoice, rejoice my friend! Our song will never end! Never, ever end!
Long ago a hunter met a wyvern, the wyvern, being young, felt that it must prove its dominion over the hunter and his allies, and so they battled on the merciless thunderlit sea. the wyvern was driven back, surprised and horrified, it fled and began infecting other beasts with a virus that drove them mad, in a vain effort to keep the hunter distracted. The hunter felled them, again and again, until eventually it met the wyvern in single combat and defeated it. So the wyvern, now near-death, its body abandoned, underwent a miraculous, rapturous transformation, casting aside the coat of blackest night and becoming a god of the great mountain. With its newfound power it once again infected the region with its hate and spite, sending a challenge to the hunter who once defeated it. and so the hunter confronted the dragon, its shining, divine form a testament to its own life's journey. and it was here, in this crumbling sanctum, that the dragon would make its last stand, not to survive, but to regain its pride. But the hunter could not abide the pride of a dragon, for that pride took countless lives. and so it was that the hunter slew the dragon one final time, their rivalry ending atop that outraged god's mountain.
Welcome to the sanctuary, we have: a bloodthirsty dragon capable of spreading a virus to the far corners of the continent merely by existing, potentially as strong as the black dragons of yore, a large rock people use for fortification, dubbing it the 'safety rock', Some deviant wyvern with clear wings that shoots lightning, i guess, a giant owl deviant with the same powers as that one chameleon dragon, a normal cat wyvern that some foreign hunter-guy has a grudge against, i think. angy monke Thunder dog And much, much more!
god I love his theme so freakin much. def one of the most emotional themes in the franchise for me. I got into MH with 4u and it got me through some rough times, so I def share quite a deep bond with the game and shagaru/gore in particular. He may not be challanging anymore since I could fight him prob blind at this point but man Im hyped to meet my boy again in Sunbreak!
I'm pretty sure took every healing item in the game into this fight, and all their ingredients too, the first time I did this, and I still barely clutched a win with absolutely nothing left, no items, no carts, little time. I still got it first try but damn was it a struggle, like Hunter and monster fighting tooth and nail with everything they have to give. Watching the safety rock crumble was a revelation of how tense it could really get, and seeing the clouds part at the very end was the most satisfying conclusion I could have asked for. I don't remember any other time it might have been better since I first beat Lagiacrus as a kid.
I felt a old rivalry return when we met face to face, Shagaru and his counterparts are the rivals i will always challenge as i'm worthy of facing them without backing down from the battle no matter how tough it gets the 4 of us will always clash
*The lore of mainline series Shagaru Magala* " Shagaru Magala is called *The Punishing God of the Mountains.* " "Shagaru Magala loses its heat sensors from its eyes developing." "Shagaru Magala and Gore Magala are sometimes compared to light and darkness." "Shagaru Magala is believed to have complete control over Frenzy Virus, manipulating it at its own will." "Last time Shagaru Magala appeared in the Heaven's Mount, all the monsters became infected and went feral. After sometime, there was huge amount of corpses left behind from monsters killing each other and most of them went extinct." "They have gained some resistance against lightning, unlike Gore Magala." "Shagaru Magala's wings are sometimes compared to some rare ore since they feel similar and shine like them." "Its wings have rainbow colors, when sunlight reflects off them." "The wings are used as both weapons and shields against enemies." "Its wing claws have a mysterious glow due to hardening from old age. They are powerful weapons and are said to smooth down by cutting through things." "Unlike Gore Magala, Shagaru Magala uses a strange substance to infect monsters instead of hairs." "It takes a long time for a Gore Magala to become a Shagaru Magala. It is believed that some Gore Magala can be as old as one hundred before molting." "Shagaru Magala's virus is a lot more dangerous since it can cover a much wider range than Gore Magala's virus and can potentially wipe out all life in one area completely, but also other areas." "If a Shagaru Magala is killed, the virus it produced will spread much farther and infect other areas easily due to nothing controlling it." "The virus's range will also block out the sun and put the area in a seemingly endless night." "Shagaru Magala spread a mist of the virus around their territory to prevent Gore Magala from molting properly. Inside their mist is a new powerful strand of the virus that infects all creatures in their territory, eventually killing most of them. But there is something else in their virus... The virus contains their parasitic offspring, the Gore Magala. Magala reproduce asexually. Their offspring live in the host whether it is dead or alive though infected corpses act as nurseries for the babies. They get their nutrition and everything they need from their host. So Shagaru Magala fill the area with the deadly mist so they can claim a territory for themselves, prevent future rivals from appearing, and to bring forth the next generation of Magalas." "It is normal for Gore Magala to go to Heaven's Mount. When it is time to molt, they to the place they were born to become an adult." All hail da safety rock!
Bruh. That thing saved me several carts on my first go. I'm gonna name my first kid after it.
Just fought Shaggy Maggy again for the first time in 6 years in GU.
That rock is the true hero of this franchise.

When that rock sank into the ground I thought I was going to cry.
when that rock sank into the ground was Spongegar moment.
Can't cry about a rock that was never there.

"Named after a mountain god within Cathar's lore, Shagaru Magala is the adult form of the recently discovered Gore Magala. While Gore Magala was almost a complete mystery, Shagaru Magala was depicted in legends revolving around a great calamity that befell Heaven's Mount long ago."
Although the elder dragon itself isn't mentioned by name in said legends, the scale of a Shagaru Magala was found at where that catastrophe took place, the Sanctuary, proving that one appeared in Heaven's Mount in the past."
"It presumably takes a Gore Magala a long time to reach adulthood, and the individual will head back to its birthplace to molt into a Shagaru Magala. Not only is that individual heading to its birthplace to molt, but others of its kind are as well."
"Chances are only one of the Gore Magala will become a Shagaru Magala while the others won't ever get a chance to molt into one."
"After molting, its feelers become horns, and it develops fully-functional eyes. While Gore Magala is a dark black in color, Shagaru Magala is an iridescent white color that radiates in the darkness of night."
"Like its juvenile form, Shagaru Magala is capable of producing the Frenzy Virus in its body though it uses a mysterious substance rather than hair-like scales. Shagaru Magala also produces and releases more of the Frenzy Virus compared to Gore Magala."
"When a Shagaru Magala is in the area, it'll surround its territory with a mysterious substance, creating a black mist that surrounds the entire area and blocks out the sun."
"Any monsters caught within the mist will be infected with the Frenzy Virus, becoming Frenzied Monsters. These Frenzied Monsters will go on a rampage once infected and will attack all other creatures they encounter, including members of their own kind."
"The infected monsters will either eventually die from the effects of the virus, end up killing each other, or, rarely, overcome the Frenzy Virus and become an Apex Monster. Most of the Frenzied Monsters will die, leaving nothing but corpses behind littering the surrounding area."
"Despite this being destructive, this is what Shagaru Magala wants to happen. While Gore Magala uses the Frenzy Virus (Its scales) to see, Shagaru Magala uses the virus for two different reasons: To get rid of competition and to reproduce."
"Within the misty substance that it produces are specialized properties (Suppressor cells) that are used for inhibiting other Gore Magala from molting properly. Any Gore Magala that molts within this substance will fail to molt properly, thus becoming a Chaotic Gore Magala."
"Not only are suppressor cells used by Shagaru Magala, but germ cells are as well. Unlike most other creatures, the Magalas have no specific gender and they reproduce in a similar manner to a fungus."
"Contained within the black mist of a Shagaru Magala are germ cells, aka its parasitic offspring, and the young will develop inside the corpses of Frenzied Monsters before eventually emerging."
"This species of elder dragon lives for a long time, but their birthrate is likely low, possibly related to their genes and or the amount of prey around."
"As expected, the fully grown Shagaru Magala is far stronger than a Gore Magala, and it has better control over the virus. It even can cause spires to explode from the ground when it's enraged."
"Despite Shagaru Magala being the adult form of Gore Magala, the monster's claws harden with age, and they can be used like a tree's growth rings identify the monster's age."
"Cathar's Song (2nd Half)":
"If ever should the dead awaken
Then welcome them as life reborn"
"And in my heart from sleep is taken
Then let it sing upon the morn"
"Let all those souls be held entranced
And gather to my mighty strains"
"For if they die again, by chance,
Their voices join the grand refrain"
"Each soul shall have its time again
Within hearts they still reside"
"And when I sing, they are sustained
From death to life, I am their guide."
"Rejoice, rejoice my friend!
Our song will never end!
Never, ever end!"

"This is personal now!!"

Everyone loves the Safety Rock but nobody wants to give any credit to the Mounting Ledge

Song Of Cathar
==========
Magala’s Crescendo First Verse
-----
If ever eyes of darkness widen
A light from yonder soon will break
But if the land the light should brighten
A shadow wanders in its wake
If dawn is sent to slay the night
And chase its minions underground
Then when dusk makes the day take
Night beneath it pinions night rebounds
But do not cry, my sons and daughters
Life must leave to come again
And when it does, it springs like water
A great reprieve to and all pain
Turn now, Heaven's Wheel! Turn, turn, that we may heal!
==========
Magala’s Encore Second Verse
-----
If ever should the dead awaken
Then welcome them as life reborn
And in my heart from sleep is taken
Then let it sing upon the morn
Let all those souls be held entranced
And gather to my mighty strains
For if they die again, by chance,
Their voices join the grand refrain
Each soul shall have its time again
Within hearts they still reside
And when I sing, they are sustained
From death to life, I am their guide.

What MONSTER HUNTER WORLD NEED this and the original sound track
this fight teaches you how to heal right in a monsters face and i love that
The legend is back at rise
Amazing
HE LIVES AGAIN!!!!
Welcome to the sanctuary, we have:
a bloodthirsty dragon capable of spreading a virus to the far corners of the continent merely by existing, potentially as strong as the black dragons of yore,
a large rock people use for fortification, dubbing it the 'safety rock',
Some deviant wyvern with clear wings that shoots lightning, i guess,
a giant owl deviant with the same powers as that one chameleon dragon,
a normal cat wyvern that some foreign hunter-guy has a grudge against, i think.

god I love his theme so freakin much. def one of the most emotional themes in the franchise for me.

*The lore of mainline series Shagaru Magala*
" Shagaru Magala is called *The Punishing God of the Mountains.* "
"Shagaru Magala loses its heat sensors from its eyes developing."
"Shagaru Magala and Gore Magala are sometimes compared to light and darkness."
"Shagaru Magala is believed to have complete control over Frenzy Virus, manipulating it at its own will."
"Last time Shagaru Magala appeared in the Heaven's Mount, all the monsters became infected and went feral. After sometime, there was huge amount of corpses left behind from monsters killing each other and most of them went extinct."
"They have gained some resistance against lightning, unlike Gore Magala."
"The scales of Shagaru Magala are said to shine in the darkness of the virus and in the sky. The light that Shagaru Magala uses seems to protect its body."
"Shagaru Magala's wings are sometimes compared to some rare ore since they feel similar and shine like them."
"Its wings have rainbow colors, when sunlight reflects off them."
"The wings are used as both weapons and shields against enemies."
"Its wing claws have a mysterious glow due to hardening from old age. They are powerful weapons and are said to smooth down by cutting through things."
"Unlike Gore Magala, Shagaru Magala uses a strange substance to infect monsters instead of hairs."
"It takes a long time for a Gore Magala to become a Shagaru Magala.
It is believed that some Gore Magala can be as old as one hundred before molting."
"Shagaru Magala's virus is a lot more dangerous since it can cover a much wider range than Gore Magala's virus and can potentially wipe out all life in one area completely, but also other areas."
"If a Shagaru Magala is killed, the virus it produced will spread much farther and infect other areas easily due to nothing controlling it."
"The virus's range will also block out the sun and put the area in a seemingly endless night."
"Shagaru Magala spread a mist of the virus around their territory to prevent Gore Magala from molting properly. So Shagaru Magala fill the area with the deadly mist so they can claim a territory for themselves, prevent future rivals from appearing, and to bring forth the next generation of Magalas."
"It is normal for Gore Magala to go to Heaven's Mount. When it is time to molt, they to the place they were born to become an adult."
"The growth of a Shagaru Magala's claws continues even after it has molted as a Gore Magala, even though it is mature."
