Very happy I found your Chanel, amazed at the great trucks you are building with very little tools and basic video equipment. Keep up the great work, I can't wait to see your new videos as you put them up even for a 'pom'.lol From your new fan down under.
Dude you make me so motivated to build my truck I wish I wasn't working so many hours/driving to work so many hours a week!!! Total of 70 hours all together right now, but when it dies down in going to for sure put in time on my truck keep up all the good work it's looking good
The way you guys got the frame out of the garage is exactly how I get my S-10 out of the garage, sliding the bricks along and all...except by myself or with my girlfriend's help. lol
My wife says that I am strange for sitting and just looking at my projects for hours. I am glad it is not just me that does this. Sometimes I am just amazed at what I am actually capable of doing.
all you need is piece of gutter from your house, turn upside down and cut into halves, I have made whole g.e.k For my ranger pu. also garden edging works quite well. shhhh don't tell anyone . no one ever said anything about it. the contours look stock .I own a1966 swb ford 100 also a lowered 70 swb ford 100 and 68 ford 100 lwb lowered with DJM drop beams and rear hanger kit witch drives like caddy rear sway and corners like mad man I love these old trucks. like your method as well with the crown vic swap. Tacoma matt mann 1 thank you for the cool vidz.
One issue I see you having is with the brake booster clearing the valve cover. Hard to tell without you actually trying to mount it. I bet it's close. If it doesn't clear I would consider going with manual brakes. Another idea for the exposed frame issue would be to install some nice stainless (or mild (rust is a must)) steel side exhaust pipes. But as you said this ones is going to be more quiet.
I have a question? how can I getaway with registration? you register as a crown v or a f100? I am planning on doing something similar but I'm not sure how that works
Hello Nathan, great videos!! I also want to try this, do you know if the Crown Vic has the VIN stamped in the frame? I need that to register a car like that in my country.
put some steps to cover the frame if it bothers you other than that great job, only complaint is your volume needs to be louder I've maxed my speakers and at points can't hear anything
Yeah I've mulled over the idea of steps but I don't think it's going to show enough below to bother me. I suppose I should have put music over the "cab move" part, audio wasn't really my goal, it was just to show the event taking place. lol. I need a production team so bad! lol.
I don’t understand how people can spend all this this time and pouring money into these fossil fuel vehicles when they are going to be outlawed and you can’t drive them. The government may just take them from you for their own pleasure after you put in all that hard work and money into it.

Great job ...can't wait to see what its gonna look like.

HaHa! You gotta do what ya gotta do! What are you doing with the S10?
I'm swapping in a 6.0L V8 from a Silverado 2500hd.

Anyway, great work. I think I can tell that you are very pleased and excited about your progress so far.
Good stuff! Awesome editing, perfect mixture of tech and dialogue! Good guide for the lay-man!
as always great job!!! love your vids!!!

I may have to see a pic of this garden edging guttering of which you speak

I think the cab will sit high enough where it will clear. I plan on at least dry fitting it this week so we'll find out soon!
I have a 72 bump side, what do you think about extending the foot area/pedals forward 4-6 inches to gain some cab room for 6+ foot drivers?
I have a question? how can I getaway with registration? you register as a crown v or a f100? I am planning on doing something similar but I'm not sure how that works
Per the body VIN number....generally. So in this case, F100.
You don't want to have it for the crown vic and have a cop run your plates, he'd think you stole the plates. There may be guns drawn.
Which mounting kit did you order? I need same ones.
Maybe bolt a boat trailer winch to yer back wall of the garage so you can lower and raise vehicles on yer slope, just an idea (Blue Peter club)
Modified engine hoist solved my problems!
Thank you for sharing NATHAN...HOW HEAVY IS THAT CAB? in Ibs/KgsBusy with something similar, 1976 F100 swop with Hilux chassis. ISH from South Africa.
Sit and look at the days work...I do that every time I work on my truck. Very motivating and theraputic. Thumbs up to that.
Hmmm...sorry I don't know the exact weight.

Yeah it's stamped on the frame. Definitely make inquiries into frame swapped vehicles in your country before you either start to build one or buy one.
Where is it stamped? in which part of the frame?

Is this install same for a 55 f100?
Can the crown Vic be a donor for a 1955 Ford f100?
Yeah it can be done. Hit up Frame Swap Faction for guys who have done it. Do a Google search as well. I think a few guys have done it.
I had to stop for a minute. Is he your son? He's dressed like you. Sidewalk supervisor. Pavement superintendent? That was what I did as a youngster.
Where are you Nathan
YOU NEED A REMOTE MICROPHONE!
HeHe! I know. I never meant to actually get sound for that part...I should have put music over it.
