I was watching another guy doing the same build and he mentioned make sure everythings grounded right. I was trying to tell to check the grounds through my screen lol. Good build bud thanks for sharing your work on here
I have seen a few of these that appear to use the same front cab mount location... but your front tires are located much better. Theirs are stuffed towards the rear. How are you so magical haha
Hey Nathan, Jerry here. You said in your video at 8:28 that you chopped off the emissions stuff. So you don't need it them? I have a 1965 f100 using a 06 crown vic p71.
What you do by yourself is mind blowing to me- I have a 5 car garage with workshop and storage area off the garage and I get less done that you do in that small yard and garage- Great job-
Nathan - subjective question I know, but due to the white truck being higher did the 1-1.5' or so of exposed frame bother you at all? I'm seeing the same on mine and i'm wondering if it's something that is going to be bothersome. Thanks again for all these vids, you make it look easy.
looks fantastic, I'm with a project like '09 p71 to f100 '70, how did you do to connect the signal lights? I appreciate you answering my message.. thanks
hmm ya know what might be kinda cool. do this conversion and then add air ride in! the rear end should lend fairly nicely to the drop from the air suspension :) plus. it would also get the stance lower or higher depending what you need or want.
Now that you're nearing completion on the white truck, which would you say was easier to do? Full cv chassis, floor and firewall swap or factory truck dash and floor?
I got some silicon bends to keep it on the same side. The battery and all the wiring would make it difficult to swap sides. I think I can do it with a slightly tighter bend.
Why not just install the crown vic front crossmemeber and suspension and redo the rear suspension? I can appreciate the work being done but it seems like the long way around a problem and you end up with a bed that's not practical
I just started road testing this truck & it drives beyond well. The extra bracing has made a huge difference. I will do a truck where I swap things onto the truck frame so I can compare.
I did think about it but went for what I thought would be slightly more practical, load carrying volume-wise, option of keeping the bed deep with the hump. It's definitely a possibility in my future builds though.
Future builds gets a thumbs up!You have built 2 now and my '68 is still sitting. Keep up the great work, only point of advice I can give is get some type of microphone for when you are speaking at distance from the camera,
About how big of a gap is there between the cab and bed? Im doing the CV full frame swap and I’m ready to put the bed on but i forgot to take measurements before I took it apart
I positioned my cab further back than factory so for me I just eyeballed the gap I wanted. It was tighter than factory. I went as close as I could while still allowing room for a bit of flex between the cab and bed. Go to Frame Swap Faction on Facebook. Answer the questions and join up. Somebody will have the answers for that measurement.
Nathan's Garage ok thank you. Thanks for the videos. I was researching the CV/f100 swap and watching your videos helped me decide to pull the trigger and do it. So far it has come out great

She look’s awesome she finally gets to drive good luck on your next project great day 🖐👍👌😁
The glorious sound of some loud Crown Vic fuel injectors!

Hi Nathan, the um ah " Air Intake job " is definitely Roadkill !...lol :)
I just want to say that you sir have inspired me thank you
Hi brother ! Great job...looks awesome !! Congratulations...keep on work...hugs..Henrique from Brazil.
Hey Nathan - hope all is well. Quick question, the egr/charcoal canister that you eliminated - did you just plug all the lines coming off the tank?
J P no just let them vent to the atmosphere. They still vent in the same way, they just don’t go though the canister

Thank you sir!
Bob Kroupa me too. Truly inspiring
thanks man... I will do my 58 ford f100 and give you some shout outs! you're awesome bro.
Thank you!
I never did hear what you wanted for the other truck. Great job Nathan. I really like your work.
Charles Chidester the orange truck is on eBay right now,, it has about 1 hour to go!
Good looking truck!

J P I noticed it at the beginning but that was about it. I loved the ride height so much that that was a small price I was willing to pay.
looks fantastic, I'm with a project like '09 p71 to f100 '70, how did you do to connect the signal lights? I appreciate you answering my message.. thanks

I think there are a couple of guys on Frame Swap Faction putting air in theirs.
ride height=YES! 71-72 grill= YES!
This is the exact opposite of what people normally do: truck body on car frame instead of car body on truck frame.
Any way to do this with out cutting into bed? Would like to keep my bed and use it like normal.
I think you mean P71 or is it on purpose to put the F in there, I'll assume so..lol..
Awesome video bro.

I'd say this is less labour intensive but they both throw up plenty of road blocks :)
the white truck looks bitchin. but imo i like the orange one better.it sits just low enough. keep up the good work.
Yeah, it's all just an experiment right now. I'm split between low & a bit more of a traditional look with more tire sidewall...
I admire these do it at home hobbiest
Could prob pick you up a stock mustang 4.6 upper intake and it would switch the inlet over to the other side with more room..

Have you ever thought to lift the whole bed floor instead building a new floor?

f100 meu sonho 🇧🇷
how do you register the truck on the dmv under the f100 or the cv

Hey Nathan, what's the best way to contribute?
www.patreon.com/nathansgarage?fan_landing=true
Thank you so much for asking. I just set up a pattern page and also there's a merchandise link under the screen. Best, Nathan.
I think they are doing this very project on hotrod garage right now lol
They're doing something! I don't know how far they're going with it. Subframe or full frame...
good build . any forsale?
Not right now.
what are the best years to use on the crown vic swap?
2003 onwards
You are restricting lot of air by doing that
That intake is temporary to move it in and out of the garage.
Need to lower it more
