In working with the college museum, I’ve heard all too often about family collections donated with ZERO locality data. As mentioned, these fossils suddenly become worthless to scientific study. 😢

What dollar tree did you go to? Being we have so many in the Lowcountry, looks like the one on Folly road but not sure. Not all the same ones carry the same items sadly. We are starting fossil digs in our homeschooling adventures very soon.

Dude, I do like ehat you are doing here. Buuuuuut you know torches are obsolete right? Unless you are about to explore some deep unknown caves and need to ligh an area the size of a football field for 6 hours. For everything else, the torch on your phone works.
