😱 OMG... that new "second step" was amazing!
I've got to admit when Jakub dumped out the bucket, it looked like the world's largest loogie. Then when he started to smear it around with the broom, it looked like egg whites. But once that CRB got ahold of it, it turned into the greatest, thick, goopy and dirty foam EVER! The best foam scrape in a long time and was worth the wait.

Это обычное мыло, которое вы натрете на терке и в воде 1 к 20 доведите до кипения и добавит 1-2 ст.ложки кальцинированной соды. И так очень хорошо размешать чтоб растворилось. Добавить можно перкарбонат натрия . Охладите смесь и она будет как желе- можно все отмыть ею! Удачи

Waaaaooow! Is this stuff organic? Starch? It looks like agar or something. Or cellulose-based? (I hope it doesn’t block up the drains.) Anyway, a very satisfylingly gloopy slo-mo it makes. Even the acoustics are different with this stuff. It looks like it could be very good on delicate rugs like silk.
When you grate a piece of soap and you put it in boiled water with soda. Let it all dissolve and you let it cool, you get a blob like this (if you don't use to much water)
It is organic 🤗

I like how he takes his time. Other carpet cleaners do one or two quick passes with the scrubber. This person takes their time & does it right.
Came back after watching the video of beating of this carpet with all the sand removed. This carpet really held on to so much dirt. Excellent job, as always! 😊

Его до конца и не отмыли - в конце на последнем полоскании и сушке видно, что вода всё ещё не прозрачная вытекает.
@@TheLGloэто не грязь, это клей и краска, ковёр старый и ещё из шерсти. Он теперь будет сыпаться мелким песком, они его испортили сильной химией.

Thank you for sharing. Can you clarify how the rugs get dirty? Is it from normal foot traffic or from soot and ash from wood burning stoves?
In many cases, it is years of dirt trampled into the carpet.
Old carpets are often used as a doormat.

I’m curious…what’s in the MegaGoo? How do you safely dispose of it? Does it break down into something biodegradable? I can’t imagine how it could be biodegradable. It’s interesting how it works but I’m concerned about the effects on the environment.

Interesting added affect with the "goop" but not sure how effective it really was in contributing to the cleaning of the rug. There was quite a bit of dirty substance at the end before the spin. I do think your rug cleaning videos are the best out there.

I would've thought the pressure washing and squeegee (maybe scrubbing) on the back side, would've been one of the earliest steps. I would've thought you'd want to drive the excessive dirt up, and out, rather than risk pushing it deeper. Why aren't you worried about that?
Also, the softener. Most fabric softeners make fibers weaker, and they wear faster. Is that a concern? Is the softener always used?

47 лет назад мы жили в Германии , у родителей до сих пор эти немецкие ковры( получается им лет 50) Хоть и почище выглядят чем на видео , но бы им отвезла на чистку. Помню в детстве , в 80-90гг выносили их на улицу зимой и в снегу чистили :) может ещё у кого- то есть такие же воспоминания 🤗

I sometimes wonder if the yellow-brown color is dirt or if it’s the carpet’s own color bleeding out.
Yes it's the dye
Looks like nicotine stain to me, which is why it gets so bright vs. fading. Could also be residue from oil heating, which leaves a nasty, oily coating on everything. When I was a kid, we moved into a house with oil heat. After scrubbing the paneling in one room, my parents replaced the furnace. It was gross.
I wonder sometimes if it might be jute carpet backing or whatever they used for warp.
Poland also historically used coal fires a lot, and has been a country of heavy smokers.
Also - with wool, especially older and handmade carpets, there are some dyes /colours that leave an excess that sits on the wool but is not chemically bonded to it. (In the same way there’s always something red in your washing machine whose dye is not all chemically bonded to it, and bonds to your whites instead!)

Yeah I think it was dye bleeding and would never stop. The dirt was gone already, looked like some sort of smoke in it instead of sand, maybe it was hanging on a wall with coal heating for a long time as it didn't seem worn from walking.

Amazing transformation anyway. I get it wrong every single time when I think that one isn't SO bad, as they just ooze absolutely loads of muck. I'm SO glad that we don't have smellovision, lol!! 🤢🤣
I love this channel, because you can tell that he doesn't dirty the carpets on purpose, just to get views, and then waste a lot of water unnecessarily, like many other carpet cleaning channels do. Please, try to give preference to channels that do not intentionally dirty the carpets, like this one :)

Never seen that goo on any other rug cleaning channel but it looks like it works really well. The rug still had brown water flowing out but that was most likely dyes bleeding.

I think the colour of the wool dye that has been used it’s completely fixed, red it notorious for that. So it didn’t alarm me at all.
Yep. The goo is an interesting step and a video without music just makes it sound very lonely. I like any music so much better than no music. It really lets everyone know how solo of a job it is when there's no background sound.
