I owned one when I was in High School; gold with two-tone black hood. The turbo was legit and I beat many V8's, not off the line though, it took a bit for the turbo to kick in. I started a family right out of HS and sadly I sold it for a GEO Spectrum:/ Tried to find it years later in hopes of re-buying it but couldn't. Loved that car. One of my bigger regrets

1980 3.8 turbo along with that 3.8 design is why G bodys are hard to come by that engine in 1980 was fucking JUNK!

305 V-8 IN MY"78" MONTE WAS BETTER. THAN THAT CRAP ENGINE. NOW I HAVE A 350. THAT WOULD SMOKE THAT. GARBAGE ENGINE THAT .....T CRAP.
