I just love this theme in the game(my second favourite behind the AI professor theme) and this does it justice, thanks for making a amazing theme better.
It’s amazing how each of their designs incorporate symbolism into what each of them represent. The most obvious one is Chien Pao, which represents Warmonger and Warfare. Symbolized by the broken sword now serving as it’s fangs. Ting Lu seems to be based off of a buck, an animal that symbolizes Ambition in China. The bowl can also symbolize political power in Chinese folklore. It can also easily mean Ting Lu is from a time long past us by, as it is cracked and more of an artifact or relic than a proper bowl. Wo Chien symbolizes Tyranny, or evil doing. The wooden tablets on it back references a Chinese proverb used to describe people who are so evil their sins cannot fit onto a single writing tablet. The fact it is a slug can also symbolize the grotesqueness of tyrants. Chi Yu symbolizes wealth and greed. In Chinese culture, koi’s were bred as a fish that only royalty owned, making them very expensive. The fact it’s eyes are made of jade, a precious stone that only the rich own in ancient China, is also a symbol of wealth in China. Each of these traits can easily corrupt a leader or person, and these are all traits often seen in epic empires of old that crumbled under its own ambitions and greed.
So the treasures of ruin were so corrupted that they brought the kingdom to rubble in mere moments. This means this king was so evil and corrupt that he unleashed the deadliest thing in all of Paldea. He was to ambitious, blinded by greed, war seeking, and filled with sin. Just shows how dark these Pokémon's origins are. They were all created by pure evil and humanity's sins. Horrifying. For context, the treasures of ruin were a set of cursed objects that were given to an evil king long ago. These treasures were some wood tablets, beads, a sword, and a vessel. They became corrupted by evil and turned into Pokémon. They ravaged the land, until being eventually sealed away for good.
Good lord, the instruments! The synergy between the ancient sounding ones and the electronic ones! That's just... stellar! Not to mention the fitting transitions in the video itself! It's- it's perfect! Day 874 of waiting for the Pledge of Demon remix. Gotta say, definitely looking forward to what comes up next on this channel. Even more than before.

I love the Indian vibe I get from this. I'd love an india region so bad. The Gupta Region would be a great name. I just want a steel/Psychic regional Copperajah, dark/poison Arbok, etc. A pokemon based off the Bengal tiger could he cool too. Also had an idea for a convergent form of Snorlax based on the Buddha since he was born in Nepal. Buddhalx, a fighting type. Signature move nirvana, it's quiver dance for fighting types. Also learns aura sphere naturally. But very bulky

History nerds: Is there any historical basis for why these legenderies are in Paldea? Did Spain steal artifacts from China or is there any legend we know of that otherwise connects China to Spain?
not a history nerd but from a few quick google searches, spain at one point wanted to take over china. they also have good trade relations, so that might explain why the legendaries are in paldea instead of wherever region they came from

GF always has amazing ideas but the execution falls flat so hard on these legendaries (and the rest of this gen) imo, it sucks.
