Cheapest Electric Unicycle: • I BOUGHT the CHEAPEST ...
Very nice. Am thinking of buying this for a former co-worker, and all-around nice guy. He used to be the dish-guy at the restaurant that I work at. When Birds and Limes came out, we were both mesmerized. Being the head cook, I made more money and BEGAN my e-scooter journey. The dish guy, Greg, was basically in awe. He has always ridden bikes, though. He retired about the time the COVID thing came about, so, even though I know basically where he lives, my work load nowadays has prevented me from going to visit him. I’d LOVE to pull up to his place on my scooter (I bought a nifty trailer for it) with a big box, knock on his door, and after re-uniting for a second, present him with this bike! Please let me know if you have any catastrophic problems with it. Thanks!
I have a very similar 20-inch folding bike, and these bikes are awesome!
They have many brands of the same bikes and usually, the quality is outstanding!
There are a few highlights you forgot to mention: 1. hydraulic disc break 2. Spokeless wheel 3. USB charger 4. Your mentioned full suspension but this one has a 4 link bar mid suspension which is better than most of the competitors. 5. Easy assembly than most others 6. Out of box cargo rack and fenders
I was surprised the hydraulic brakes were totally overlooked - you'd notice the difference in stopping power straight away.
Thankyou for doing his job , his reviews are actually pretty terrible.
Top speed?
can you help me find the best possible model i see the same bike everywhere with the companies seem to decide how they come
@@onsIaught To me they are just the same. It is just like the PC industry 20 years ago, no matter what brand a computer named, it is just an Intel CPU, some RAM, and harddisk. Anyone can build one with their own brand name on the box.
Did I miss the part where you tried to see how fast it could go after you changed the settings?the only thing I heard was it went a lot faster. Mph stats?
Same here. What did it get up to?!!
i guess im asking randomly but does someone know a tool to log back into an instagram account??

Sorry!!! About 26mph is what I get
People put way, WAY too much emphasis on top speed! Which would you rather have? A bike that does a top speed of 35mph and goes for 20 miles, OR a bike that does a top speed of 28mph and goes for 35 miles? Who gives a shit about it going 7 mph faster if it can only go 20 miles on a charge! Plus, going 35 on a ebike is scarier than FUCK! 😳🙄
@@KOrnhOliO1 Is there a reason that the bike that could do 35 mph for 20 miles couldn't do 28 mph for 35 miles? I don't have an E-bike yet but I assume that if I had the bike that could go 35 mph I would enjoy the extra power when I needed it but would still ride at a reasonable speed most of the time. To me having a bike that could put on an impressive burst of speed to get me out of trouble real quick is kind of important because you never know what weird situation you're going to end up in.
Just curious, thanks.
Surprised you didn't change the title of the video since you never really "bought" it for $1,400.00 but got it for free from the Manufacturer for a review.

One of the things I love about you and your channel is you always give it the full send. You don't candy coat your reviews and you seem to keep it family friendly for the most part. Thanks again.
Nice review! If this bike had been around when I was shopping, I would have considered it. Having full suspension AND being able to fold are a big deal. That rack is bent, so maybe the box got dropped on it's side in shipping. Looks like a really strong rack though, and I know because I usually modify racks for more strength. The shifter needs to be indexed so the chain sits on each gear properly. The downsides of this bike for me would be throttle on the left (easily fixed), mediocre torque, and just adequate range. I like how the bike scales back the power and keeps going when the battery is low. That takes thoughtful programming, and Rad does the same thing. I remember when I did a range test on my RadMini when it was stock, and after 41 miles it was going 6mph, but it beats walking!
I have problems with the shifter/the gear and I cant get it right. It keeps shifting between a gear and the gear next to it. How does one "index the shifter"?
Everyone that has this bike has a bent rack. It is not bent in shipping. It is just a miscalculation from the factory I guess?
HOW DO I ORDER ONE?
That clicking gear thing might be because you laid it on it's rear derailleur when you put it in your Jeep. Bikes should never be laid on their right side because it can cause a bent derailleur hanger. Bent derailleur hanger = bad shifting/skipping teeth/etc. Hope that helps.
good observation Rusty, your correct, he may have bent the derailleur, easy fix
@@dougraber8291 Learned this the hard way! :-)
$1,999 now (3/8/21). Possibly there's still a $200 off coupon and, additionally, it appears there's a $50 coupon available. BUT, is this still competitive at $1,750? Raising the price $600 in two weeks is certainly disheartening!
95% of ebikes are coming from Chinese companies....
The Chinese are making they're brand and products now and labeling it to be sold in America easy
I think your tires are 20 x 4.0 . So you should change the tire size in the "advanced settings" to 20 inch. By doing this, the speed indication on your display will be more accurate (higher).
probably 20" is the wheel size, with tires its more
@@milordas
No actually when they say a bike is 20 inch wheels. They mean with the tyres on fully inflated. The RIMS are just under 16 inches. But this is for standard 2 inch wide tyres. Go and measure up a 20 inch wheel and you will see. THE PROBLEM. With fat tyre ebikes is because the wide 4 inch tyres are so big. Your TRUE wheel diameter is now around 23 inches. You have to allow for this when setting up the bike computer. Or you wont get true readings for speed and distance.
SO .. what was the top speed?? It's mostly all you talked about at the start and then at the end you said it never got to 35mph
I know.... The big talk about the mystery of the top speed led to just a further mystery of the top speed.

The display, settings, and bike style look EXACTLY like Engwe lol. I wonder if that's who's sewing them. Did you have any issues going uphill where you get less power when you pedal vs going up with just throttle?
Great looking bike and nice review but seriously! They've upped the price by $600 since posting this video!!! I'll look for a different manufacturer just out of principle.

I finally went with the Lankeleisi X3000 Plus UP.... By far the best looking fat folding ebike, with down hill forks and Mountain bike handle bars. It comes as a 48V 17.5AH battery and a 1000W motor and is capable of about 30mph, (depending on rider load).
Got dyslexic for a moment and read: "I BOUGHT the INCEST eBike"
I have the Eahora version of this bike and the fastest I've gone was 28 mph downhill with the limiter enabled. Unfortunately, I busted up my controller and had to solder the buttons back onto the circuit board. Now I'm thinking about upgrading to the color display on the GDS Bike, since most of the components are the same or compatible. My bike also shipped with a funky shifting derailleur. Finally after a few months, I decided to tweak it and now it's like night and day. Shifts with no skipped gears or clicking from not shifting.
It looks good in the military colours. Looks well constructed.
How is it riding with the throttle on the wrong side? I like everything else about this bike. The brakes and suspension all look great. How fast did you get it up to in pedal assist? I have the lectric and love it but this is real nice.
Like 23mph!
The throttle is not on the wrong side. All the bikes with the trigger shifter has the throttle on the left side unless it’s one of those cheap half twist throttle’s grips
@@eastwood111 Everything I have ever riden or driven the throttle has always been on the right. Car, go-cart, snowmobiles, motorcycles, ebikes. I have only seen 2 ebikes with the throttle on the left and one was a twist and now this thumb.
I've got one of those bikes with the 16 amp battery. Got 32 mph out of it. You didn't mention it's got a feature called "push" where the bike keeps coasting, not to confuse it with cruise control which it has also. Using some throttle and pedal assist I can easily get 50 miles out of it. I highly recommend this bike

They raised the price to 2K so they can keep it to themselves...
2k might as well get a 35 mph electric moped for that much. They have larger battery capacity in the 2k range.
2K is too much for this bike .... I paid 700 dollars for it ...... the battery alone is about 500 dollars alone ... LOL and the electrical part is about 250 dollars .. so putting this together and figuring the price comparison .. still a good buck under $1,000 but 2,000 hell no !!!

Yeah, these guys make way too much of a big deal about top speed! Even 28mph would be scary as shit on an ebike... That's so fast!

Great review. So in your professional opinion. This bike or the lectric? Thanks
Get a mount so you’re not riding one-handed, bro! I was worried you were gonna biff it! 😂
No, no, no, you keep the one hand drive going on the handlebars, two hands on the bar would act as an artificial component stabilizer for a faulty designed system, even on motorcycles, one hand on most units will tend to flop and/or roll becoming most unstable like uncontrollable front end shaking, which can kill an inexperienced rider, you are proving to us the units you test are safe, keep the one hand going, THANKS (OG)
@@normanklature6014 People don’t realise they once above 10mph, all bikes counter steer. To go right you momentarily steer the front tyre to the left of centre. Bike then leans into a right turn. It’s very subtle on pedal bikes but really clear on motorbikes.
They all have a resonant wiggle between 20 and 60. Kicked out cruisers are at slower end sports bikes higher up. Its easily damped with hands on bars but could get pretty scary on a pushbike.
Plus, the video will be better without you hand holding the camera.... If it has electronic stabilizing.
Maybe I'm being picky or I missed it but you didn't mention anything about pedal assist and when you mentioned you don't care about what brand the derailers are that probably means the brakes and motor are junk that will not last and there will be no customer support. It seems like you leave some of the most important parts of the bike off your list. But you did say it was just another Chinese knock off so that says a lot
Yeah it looks a great bike. What I want to know is how hard would it be to double the battery on it so it would do about 40 miles?
getting to the controller to wire in a selector switch might be tricky
How much does it weigh with and without the battery? What's the fastest mph, on Sport, did it go?
It's good to know it has good software for the last few miles... but i would never take a battery below 10% as that would do permanent damage
It won’t do permanent damage because it has a BMS. Any E bike that you purchased has a BMS installed in the battery to protect from this. If it cuts out it’s because of the BMS not because of the battery
@@eastwood111 you got it inaccurate. The battery wont last as long if you drain it to recharge it.
Pulling power from a battery drops the voltage so it looks like the ECU is sucking just enough to keep it above the battery safe cut out. Very clever.
It's weird because even companies in china will resell a bike with a differnt brand name on it, like don't they know know it's being sold right down the street from them with a new name? But yeah, I think I've already seen 2 or 3 versions of this in recent years, likely the only difference is the controller or the trip computer. ice to know they managed to get a decent combo of equipment to make this one.

Good morning,
Very unhappy with my CmaceWheel RX20, bought 7/2022.
After 6 months the Keyframe holder on the bike broke, so o had to replace the whole Key setup in the Battery. Not easy.
Now the Front Motor is not working for 4 months, but I was busy and did not report it, so it’s OUT Of WARRANTY, as 13 months and 95 km (yeah, that’s all).
The Factory support was incomplete, sarcastic and frankly shows NO knowledge of the bike (until I started yelling). What I can notice is RE-BRANDING to DUOTTS, Polarna, VAKOLE C020, which indicates to me that the original brand is failing! They should have fixed the problems first!
After additional testing and hours of work by myself,
1. Clearly the Controller is defective, so I am asking for an immediate replacement.
2. The Motor is also probably defective, but I am willing to wait for the Controller replacement. What worries me about it, is the cost and the danger that the NEW controller will be blown by the defective Motor.
Any ideas?

Okay, it's great that that it doesn't strand you with a hard cutoff, however your test proves why they make them cut out, it's because people will just keep pushing it until it just won't go another foot. And that is extremely hard on batteries, taking them below the minimum charge level, and if it only happens once in great while to get you that last mile, that's not so bad, but delebritly using every last bit of power until it just won't go another foot, will shorten the life of the battery severely.

They all have the choice of Pedal assistance and you can choose the amount of assistance you want, but can also use just the motor to get you around.
Great bikes, a shame we can't use these in the UK. We are limited to tiny motors, low maximum speeds. On a bike like this you would need a full motorbike licence, you would need plates for it, full insurance (it would cost more to insure than my ZX10R), it would need to be EU Type Approved (including crash testing) and you would need to wear a motorbike helmet. All in all, our government would prefer polluting petrol consuming motorbikes.
Real nice bike dude, waiting for the upgraded software hope they keep everything else the same... best looking one I've seen so far!
Could you speak to the quality of the hinge point and your thoughts on how it would hold up to a 250 pound rider on gravel roads.. thanks in advance
Your thoughts on how this compares to the Lectric 2.0, and made in the good old USA?
Made in good old USA? That's a joke right? 99.9% of them are made in China.
So if you want to test the speed of it you need to change it on the power settings on your controller. I made a 1000w ebike and i end up having to change to 0 power to go about 17-20mph from the 35-40mph at top power.

This video was light on actual review. You spent 90 percent on how far you could go and not much on details. Does the batt come out to charge because I live on the third floor? It so great but right at the end we hear the chain slips and the rack is wonky? You slacked a bit on this one... Still a fan!
