They will prevent your using many city buses. I see that as a negative point regarding it being suitable as a mixed-mode commuting bike. The extremely fat tires will not fit into almost all city *bus* external bike rack tire slots I've seen. The tires are just too wide. Most racks on the city buses seem to be designed for the thinner "city street" tires. Plus, my experience has been that when a bike doesn't fit in the rack most drivers will not allow the larger folding bikes (20" and above) to be carried on board the bus. In some cities they even stop me from carrying a much smaller folded 16-inch bike on board the bus (I checked this even when the tires would fit in the rack tire slots just to see if they would allow it. It's up to each driver and seemed to be about 50/50 and depending somewhat on the number of passengers onboard.)

But how portable can a 55 lb e-bike be? Or, viewed differently, how good a shape do you need to be to move about comfortably a something weighing more the 25 kilos? As in putting in a car trunk, removing; carrying up a flight of stairs?
I'm a OTR truck driver and need a folding e bike. Where in the world can I buy one that isn't mailed to an address? I NEED to buy one the old fashioned way. Tall order here in Phoenix. I'm here for a 36 hour reset then heading to Dallas where it looks likely that this issue will persist.

Amazon's discount is 150.00 and although the taxes will take most of that back, you won't be able to evade taxes anyway so, I say it's a win...
Please advise the motor listed on the hub on your YAMEE 750 XL. I think they might have sent a 500W motor on my bike. YAMEE48V50020CBBBB1 is the reading on mine.
How come you went for a 20" instead of a 26" bike? You are a pretty tall guy. Is the 20" just more convenience and compact? Do you find it takes more effort to pedal a 20" bike (without PAS) vs a 26"?
20 inch is better for NYC since space is a problem here. Also I do more city riding. Only offroad the 26 inch tires will give you that benefit and extra comfort. I would recommend you to try POlarna GTS, it is cheaper and better bike power delivery and specs.
Hello, I ordered the same bike. Do you know if your motor number markings say “ yamee48v500”. Based on my research this would be a 500w motor not at 750w motor correct. I want to make sure these markings are the same. Thank you!!
@Electric Vehicles I just got my new XL and it has the same YAMEE48V500 stamp on the motor, though I ordered/paid for a 750w motor. I’d like to make sure the motor on my bike is 750w. Thanks!

It's a 750w motor. At least that is what the display verifies when I am hill climbing. I've seen the watts reach as high as 999w. Peak power. My motor says the same. It's the serial number.
Great video and nice to also see it's use in NYC. Living here as well and in the beginning stage of research on e-bikes. First review of this bike. And excellent info to add to list of considerations. Thanks for all the time and info given in the video! Subscribed!

Hi, how easy is it to remove the display unit, I'm thinking if you have to leave it locked up outside a shop for a while. Also I'm 5ft 6" do you think I would be OK with the XL Enjoyed your video, thanks, Rob
I have one similar, big fat motorbike chain in a cover to prevent easy cutting and a good padlock are all you need, (mine wraps nicely around the seatpost when not used) nobody ever looked at the display, it doesn't stand out compared to the tyres which draw a bit of a fan club. If you don't like answering questions about your bike it's not for you :) .
Yamee has better components and the Ipas system that gives you more. Lectric is not bad but you will spend more $ repairing and replacing parts down the line. You get what you pay they say.

I could call Uber much cheaper but how to take girl out? lol. Need to find ebike girl. Too many guys :( Come on ladies, bike is good exerciser.)
The same frame but polarna has better quality components. I just received about bike today that will be better much better than polarna and yamee. Video coming in the following days.
@@ElectricVehicleSpace oh thanks for the feedback - i noticed the display looked exactly the same too. Your reivew of GDS was quite high, thus Polarna should be even better? Man I envy your "job".
How much does it weigh? It's one thing to load it into a car or truck that's a few seconds but to climb a set or two of stairs to get to your second or third floor apartment is quite a difference. So to me weight is a key factor.
I would recommend Flex or Verreal but they are a bit more expensive. I placed several codes in the video description box and you can get a discount but it may be a bit more expensive than $500. Check them out. Good boards.
@@ElectricVehicleSpace I'm going back and forth between the Bear 750S and the xl, do you plan on posting a review on the bear 750s soon and give a comparison opinion? Thanks
Quick question. Did you adjust those settings after you took this video of riding? Because you changed the wheel size, that would mean the speedometer will show a different speed. I got a yamee xl recently, and I'm wondering if mine is defective or your settings are just different. Mine will only go 22mph. In the process of figuring this problem out with yamee, but they are really slow with replies
I did not change the wheel size only power output. You should look into polarna gts video I posted. So much better. Improved components and better quality with more power.
@@ElectricVehicleSpace at 8:20 of the video, you adjusted the wheel size from 24 to 20. That will decrease your maximum speed from whatever you were getting to the real 22mph. If you check on Google maps you will be going the same speed no matter what wheel size you select, but on the display, it will show a higher number the bigger wheel size you select, even though the actual speed is the same. Test it out. What I'm trying to say is the bikes real maximum speed is nowhere near the advertised 27. It's 22. Which is upsetting. At least that's how it is on my yamee xl
@@Boba80223 the wheel size should be 20 inch. That is the true size of the wheel. Look at the polarna GTS bike and 500W Gfotce T42 bike with 30mph and higher.

Thanks for the video. Just watched a video of one of these bikes going dead after a month of use.
Have you had any problems with this bike?
I believe the guy was on his way to work and jumped a curve, then the bike shut off. Couldn't get it going and there's no updates.
In the market on purchasing an ebike, but just don't know which to get. I like the grizzly, super73, lectric xp ebikes and yamee. Not to sure anymore haha.
Thanks.
But how portable can a 55 lb e-bike be?
Or, viewed differently, how good a shape do you need to be to move about comfortably a something weighing more the 25 kilos? As in putting in a car trunk, removing; carrying up a flight of stairs?
the bike is lighter than that
6 foot rule makes it harder to ask for help :(
This bike weighs 77 pounds. Super heavy. Max throttle speed is only 25mph in real time is 22mph according to police radar.
How much can it hold with like weight limit so a person and cargo
What is the maximum load capacity? Is this good a ebike for big guys?
That’s what I need to know also.
Wow! Comes fully asssembled! Nice!
yes indeed.
and the worst, messiest packaging ever seen, they could throw old newspapers in the box
@@juri2001 the packaging 📦 is alright
@@juri2001 Who cares about the packaging? Only you.
This is the coolest electric bike I've seen so far.
Does anyone happen to know where I can get mirrors and turn signal lights for this bike? I would really love those!!
Any regenerative braking? Can the battery be taken out for charging?
It shows in the video
How’s the fat tire in this bike ? I’m trying to get one from their website.
Fat tire comes in 26 and 20 inch size. Pretty good.
4 inch
@@ElectricVehicleSpace thanks man, some haters cut my tires with knives :(
Hey i live in nyc also with a small apartment how long did the bike to ship to you
Amazon has a promotion now which surprisingly includes the black model and they deliver b4 seven days. Other companies will give you the opportunity to play a "fortune wheel" where you will only get a 5% discount out of 1700.00 (1615.00 net price) but they don't offer the black model. Amazon's discount is 150.00 and although the taxes will take most of that back, you won't be able to evade taxes anyway so, I say it's a win...
Would be nice if you gave us the price and options
is there a class 3 ebike that's pretty much just like this? thank you for this video :)
@@ElectricVehicleSpace thank you so much for the reply. And I appreciate your videos.
@@duMaurier15 my pleasure.
if i need only 20 mph what's the range i would get with the battery? Assuming it has a regenerative battery system
if you only rider at 20 mph than you will get more range.
Game changer.
Better bike coming in several days.
Hello, I ordered the same bike. Do you know if your motor number markings say “ yamee48v500”. Based on my research this would be a 500w motor not at 750w motor correct. I want to make sure these markings are the same. Thank you!!
They have 500w and 750w options.
@Electric Vehicles I just got my new XL and it has the same YAMEE48V500 stamp on the motor, though I ordered/paid for a 750w motor. I’d like to make sure the motor on my bike is 750w. Thanks!
I also ordered the 750w and my motor says 48v500 as well. I sent an email and was told it's the serial number. Seems strange.
@@jrt5678 same here. I'm not gonna fall for the banana in the tailpipe (in my Eddie Murphy voice). Also less than 48 hours and my odometer and speedometer stopped working. 🤔. I think this will be a return.
It's a 750w motor. At least that is what the display verifies when I am hill climbing. I've seen the watts reach as high as 999w. Peak power. My motor says the same. It's the serial number.
I love NYC! What a great place to ride.
I would like to get one of these with mag wheels please tell me there is a option to get mag wheels?
Great video and nice to also see it's use in NYC. Living here as well and in the beginning stage of research on e-bikes. First review of this bike. And excellent info to add to list of considerations. Thanks for all the time and info given in the video! Subscribed!
Thanks for the comment. I really appreciate 🙏💛!
@@ElectricVehicleSpace how much is it
@@nadash3186 don't be lazy google.
Yes I just got my Yamee 750,but I'm having a problem with turning off the battery with the key, it goes on and off with let hand button only.is this key just to lock battery,Becauss any body who knows Ebikes, would hop on it and be Gone!! This is my 4th ebike I never seen a key that cannot turn off battery!
The 750S has that option
Hello! The E-bike link seems to have expired or it's no longer available. Do you have any other links that you would be able to buy the bike from?
This seems much more reasonably priced than the Harley Davison E bikes
and the specs are similar. I rather own this bike.
@@ElectricVehicleSpace what’s the max speed?
GREAT REVIEW!!!!!⭐️
I will post in several days better option ebike and cheaper. Stay tuned.

i did not hear or see a description of the suspension, if there is one.
watch the video
Do you think this bike is the most powerful, and the best foldable e-bike that you have reviewed so far?
himibike and Polarna GTS were the most powerful bike I have tried. Take a look at those videos.
Hi, how easy is it to remove the display unit, I'm thinking if you have to leave it locked up outside a shop for a while. Also I'm 5ft 6" do you think I would be OK with the XL
Enjoyed your video, thanks, Rob
Size will fit well. I'm 6.3" removing the display is not difficult.
@@ElectricVehicleSpace 👍
I have one similar, big fat motorbike chain in a cover to prevent easy cutting and a good padlock are all you need, (mine wraps nicely around the seatpost when not used) nobody ever looked at the display, it doesn't stand out compared to the tyres which draw a bit of a fan club. If you don't like answering questions about your bike it's not for you :) .
For $899 the lectric xp can not be beat!! 28mph and all this one 2000
Yamee has better components and the Ipas system that gives you more. Lectric is not bad but you will spend more $ repairing and replacing parts down the line. You get what you pay they say.
@@ElectricVehicleSpace then how much is this bike ?
I just got XP. Customer service is good. Maybe I get this one next. I like bikes better than cars. I drive car once in 2 weeks. Waste of money and expensive insurance. I could call Uber much cheaper but how to take girl out? lol. Need to find ebike girl. Too many guys :( Come on ladies, bike is good exerciser.)
@@blueeyedsoulman I like your approach! Can I get one of those girls too?
@@ElectricVehicleSpace I think we have to convert them. Get them out of cars. Live life outside more.
What is that seat ya got?
Looks like Yamee XL and GDS and Polarna M6 are the same e-bike - yes / no?
The same frame but polarna has better quality components. I just received about bike today that will be better much better than polarna and yamee. Video coming in the following days.
@@ElectricVehicleSpace oh thanks for the feedback - i noticed the display looked exactly the same too. Your reivew of GDS was quite high, thus Polarna should be even better? Man I envy your "job".
@@jacksonj3082 yes polarna is better but this new upcoming bike may hold even higher edge. Super excited to share the new bike review soon.
How much does it weigh? It's one thing to load it into a car or truck that's a few seconds but to climb a set or two of stairs to get to your second or third floor apartment is quite a difference. So to me weight is a key factor.
Have you looked online?
Another company using Sondors design, very popular , but my Fold X gets 60+ miles per charge p.a.s., my buddy gets about 58 miles with his XS.
sondors is using other company design.
Looks great. When are they available in the UK, please?
Check polarna gts review its the same frame with better motor and controller. More power and less $$$
Do the tires come pre filled
What would you pay for a used one with two extra batteries?
I could tell you to get the polarna m4 m5 or m6.
Coupon code didn't work for me , am I doing something wrong ?
Looks good, but does it have rear suspension?
The new review I posted of fat bear tire 750S does. It's better bike....check it out.
Is this good for Uber eats in nyc
Check Polarna gts review I posted recently. Much better and cheaper. Upgraded parts and so much more with dual suspension.
Hi I like the way you've describe this bike may I know how much is it exactly?
I like this little beagle😅
Any info on that helmet?
Off topic I know but what board would you recommend in the $500 range ?
Thanks
I would recommend Flex or Verreal but they are a bit more expensive. I placed several codes in the video description box and you can get a discount but it may be a bit more expensive than $500. Check them out. Good boards.
@@ElectricVehicleSpace Thanks I really appreciate it.

Am i able to get this bike in the UK or shipped from the US? I'm struggling to find a UK supplier, thanks 👍

Bro how is this bike on a long run do you still have it ? I have lectric xp, want something better now .
The bile is great. Now I am testing the 750S bear. Dual suspension is nice.
Hello how much it cost you I love it
Thx for sharing. Is the seat comfortable?
Yes
this or the Radmini ?

I'm a female 5ft and 120 pounds is this too heavy for me?
@@kokoajay5540 the bike is about 26 lbs. Any bike can be heavy since it has a battery but if you role it than is fine. You will get crazy range with 14A.
