I just wanna say… as many products are there are on the market… you managed to garage engineer a very effective and useful solution. Props to you sir. 🍻
With using a trolling motor, at say 2-3 mph, do you think the friction of the water would make the transducer arm rotate back at all, given the threaded joint?
Great innovation. What kind of tracking is the base for this? Would it work to place the Striker 4 where you plan to put the camera?. Steve (68yrs) Manitoba
Yes I have, it works great. I do need to make the transducer arm more straight up and down. It has a slight angle I don't like. My last video is about my review of the kayak hacks. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching
This is perfect! I’ll be building this tomorrow for sure. Thanks for the great idea.

Very interesting, have a great weekend
Thanks, and you have a great weekend also
How much more effective is this rather than glueing it to the bottom of the kayak
Very cool friend. Any noticeable drag ?
Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching. I have not noticed any drag while paddling with the the transducer in the water.

Very possible, I set mine to be a tight turn so it doesn't move. Never tried it with a trolling motor. Good question, thanks for watching
