Oh No.. Lagoon.! Victor needs to check out Parley Revival on RUclips to see if he bought a Lemon or not..
that issue is on the 450s only this is a 500
@@dino2540 Same Factory, I Presume?.. I hope you're right, for Victor's sake.
@@dino2540
same s*it
A specific design issue affecting a specific model, the 450. It's like saying that because the Boeing 737 max has a technical fault, that a Boeing 777 should be grounded.
@@adammallerman8153 No such drastic decision BUT atleast proper inspection for peace of mind and one's safety . As the saying: " just to be sure, to be sure, to be sure" 🤔🤔👍
I'm not in any form a musician. But I can tell the music on your channel is miles ahead of most sailing channels.
Misleading title...
@Sailing Zingaro *_ Exactly paazbra.... James you F**#cked** with our heads with a MISLEADING clickbait title to this vlog.... so where's the assessment about the Lagoon 500 ex-charter???? _*
Bonaire is amazing&beautiful.
Great footage from a drone
the ONLY cover of Turn the Page I have heard that was decent! well done.
Thanks, my bro. 😎
This cover by James was not terrible, but it was 'way' far from being the best decent version out there, I mean seriously. I can't figure out if you're just shining James' shoes, or if you just haven't heard that many covers.... I guess you've left me scratching my head mate.
GSA Hookah is workin' hard in life, for that 13th view!
I barely recognized the song. Not a fan of this cover.
Been in the situation.
You got a great voice! Bob Segar 100 percent great choice of song...We Enjoy !!!
I really like the music you added to the last episodes. And you really stepped up your editing game.
Yeah, I noticed that after not watching for a few months. Good stuff!
James you’ve got great guitar skills and a good voice. Sounded great bruh
Great video. Love the drone shots and guitar. Living the life.
10:56 James great tune and cover!
Congratulations on the Oyster! That boat is Hermosa
at 8:37 you can see a sistership off Joshua to Bernard Moitessier !!! (the red boat on the back)... have you read "la longue route" ?...
Very nice, ihanks for taking us along.
Loved the music as usual, you have a great ear!
Great song Great channel Thanks
Great video, informative and well thought out. Also, the artist and song info as it's played is really appreciated
Best moorings ever are made with a train wheel or a pair of them
Why is that French PCR tests are so brutal? Had one recently and it was awful!! Actually shouted 'F*&king Hell' as she rammed my brain. I feel your pain bro
Loved that B.S. (Bob Segar) James !!! You rocked it my friend. Safe sailing.
Great Job with the Seger cover!! Enjoyed that!!
Yes!
So many channels are horrible at picking music - often they fail to let the actual back ground sound play (though I get it, those GOPRO mics are horrible too).
Water Boarding Boe Jiden horrible at picking muzak!
Or worse, picking that "motivational" garbage, music.
When things are motivational, you make your own music. You (and/or I) do not need that contrived tripe!
Loving it Brother.
Excellent vid James!!
Haha, I am sorry man, but every time I see you slip over with the dingy, I laugh my ass off !! Haha, love your channel mate.
You're not wrong. 'Sank the dinghy... sank the dinghy again... Got this new really good one - sank myself.'
Good job on Turn the Page. I liked that paired with VERY nice sailing footage.
I honestly enjoyed the cover.👍
Great cover...I would love to join this endeavor...sometime when the stars align.
Amazing drone pilot and video.
Thanks for completing Bob's song 🎵❤ My mom loved bob
RE-OPM...the french equivalent is BDA "Bateau des autres"
ya one of the vloggers had a lagoon and it fell apart and they found it was poorly made down below
Check with Paraly befor you get involve with lagoon
KUDOS for the great guitar and cover song
Love ur videos brother!
One of the bests video edits I’ve seen. Even if the content wasn’t good (which it was) the video was great by it self. Congrats
Nice Drone work and clips James 😎
Nice cover of Seger! If we hook up in San Blas or wherever, I got your backup vocals!
Nice work with that cover !
Your boat is super awesome looking.
Sweet Cat!
Nice job on the Seager cover! Very nice!
dope drone video
Interesting comment - "[moorings] are a lot safer in a storm". Many experienced sailors would have a problem with that, mostly because the mooring 'anchor' is usually some nondescript weight of some kind skidding around the bottom, not actually dug into the seabed like a true anchor. Obviously if the mooring was a system of pilings pounded down to bedrock, designed to moor 200,000 ton freighters, it's unlikely that it will go anywhere with a yacht tugging against it. But because so many moorings are concrete blocks or scrap steel or just engine blocks sitting on the bottom, with unmaintained chafed ropes tied to a chain or ring welded or embedded in them, they might not be be as stable as a well-set anchor with lots of scope attached.
We want to see you sail your boat hope we don't have to wait another 9 months!!
Ya, your cover was amazing, maybe each week a new cover!
Nice.......btw, the title of the song is "Turn the Page". Not "Here I am, on the Road Again"........
Was really waiting for that drone too fly in and fix on him playing that song.
Yeah that haircut really looks good
How difficult was it to secure a mooring in Bonaire? Thinking of spending next off-season there.
There is a different type of nasal swab test that is sufficient to collect a sample immediately inside your nostrils and where you no longer need a nasopharyngeal swabs that go further into the nasal cavity for collection. Request for it the next time you get tested. Some of those that are doing the test, can do more harm when preforming this test.
Just covid tested in Canada with a gargle solution!
Cool version of Turn the Page!
Good luck James. I used to enjoy the mad adventures and exploring but recently....
Is it worth what? I don't think you actually addressed this title in any way?? did I miss it?
You could call it 'title' clickbait - gets you to watch something which is not what it seemed. Yup, no reference to the reality or is it worth it. Strange as most of James' videos are not like that
Beautifull video bro! Love the cover of the song! That splice in the marlowbraid line is a b**** btw, still havent figured it out.
U have a great voice James, just hope in a future u can get better guitar.. My father plays on all kinds of guitars
careful with those bulkheads
A boat rigging video and you didn't even mention Dyneema one time🤣
Funny, in the lab industry we literally call those swabs the "brain tickler."
Two words Parley revival
Wicked cover of Bob, James! Loved it, keep them comin!
What happened to the OC Tender you got in Tahiti?
James great job on Turn The Page.
who was the singer of your version of turn the page 11.42?
Great cover ! Perhaps better than the original …
Cracked bulkheads, watch Parlay Revival
Ok I'm late to the party here, but the Seger cover was sweet. Hopefully more coming in the future.
More covers James
James, I did not see you check the chain links at or near the mooring weight for chafe. That is where they will grow thin over time and break.
You have to be a diver to check a mooring in the PNW
James can sing…..
What did you do while a squid, James?
That Seger cover was awesome! Do we get an answer to the question if its worth it?
after watching pt 2...in retrospect i'm wondering who the hell surveyed this thing?
Is is me or is she listing to starboard? Looks like the starboard pylon is lower in the water than the port side. Look at time stamp 12:20...
Not even 1 hour after release and somebody already mentions Lagoon and Parlay in the same sentence. Ouch.
I feel so sorry for the people who are putting up nice videos with a Lagoon sailboat in it. :-(
Well the next episode is the reason why. Bulkheads and furniture moving, creaking and separating everywhere. Yes I agree the internet geniuses who watched a couple of videos and now know what everyone else does feel the need to share their "knowledge" can be annoying, for Lagoon, the generalization appears to fit. Too bad for them. Time to account for their low cost production approach. This day would come.
What year is this Lagoon???? No one mentions it anywhere
Let me know please
Fairwinds from the @captains.chair
she did that pcr right most dont
Is it worth it?
the music
not correct
amigo.
2nd.
Why did'nt you tell me you were coming to my lab. for a covid test? We are the Best!!!. NEXT time let me know when you are at the lab.
How many cracked bulkheads are in that Lagoon 500 ? Singing & Sailing. Stick to the later. You have a deep voice when you talk but sing like a little girl ! lol
First
It would of been very interesting if the title matched up with the content. Is it worth it? Who knows you didn't cover costs time what equipment was added to make it a live aboard what more needed to be added what was a waste of money etc etc.
I know you were no doubt working hard during those few days and such content would of taken a lot of work on both your and the owners time but no doubt he would of been eager to show of his new purchase and the result of his hard labours.
Thanks for not answering the question ik the title degen!
That was bizzare...Why did you title this about sailing a 50" Lagoon...There wasn't one shot of it sailing....disappointing....
Luck #7
did covid get your hair
Sadly that PCA test is pretty much useless.
