AHOY from Aruba! If you enjoyed this vid, please click the 'LIKE' button!!! It really helps RUclips recommend this video to others. Much love from Aruba!!! Thanks for watching our content. Big shoutout to my new editor, Nerea, you're killin it, girl! -James
I know you dressed up as a pirate I guess as long as you aint painting them pink👍👍🍻🍻here in ohio👍👍
Love from Kansas boys. Sailing small boats on small lakes in the landlocked states. Dreaming of big sails and blues seas.
Don't eat Plucky's squid!! And don't watch his latest video, you don't want to know where that little squid came from🤢
@@woodyatwes5018 funny :) ... i'm sure it was freshly eaten and swallowed ... these two dudes are awesome...
@@woodyatwes5018 Plucky Special bicatch very environmental.
It's good that you and Peter crossed streams.
After I found his Sailing Into Freedom, several other sites were introduced by algorithm and I saw nothing special, to me.
Now That I've seen Zingaro, I see more of a community out there on the waters.
Plukky is not alone.
Good show. People looking for adventure.
Happy sailing!

It's refreshing and so cool to see the collaboration of you Tubers lately. I watch all of you independently. Thanks for the great content.
Great video! More Plukky please!
Plukky’s an awesome bloke, appears to have an endless amount of energy! 😎🏖🌴☀️🇦🇺
Hey man, Big ups to you for giving credit to the artists playing while the episode is rolling. Not to mention, a most excellent choice of song's! They really help set your channel apart!!
Thanks, my brother! Thanks for watching for the last 5 years. I remember A Rottie commenting on my FIRST videos! Much love, mano.
I just realized that you and Plukky both owned cats that sunk and now you both have true sailboats - monohulls. James, I sailed with captain Anthony in Aruba in October, - great little snorkeling trip!
Wow so there are people that really live like this oh my goodness it has always been my dream to be on a boat like yours on passages adventures and voyages being a disabled veteran I can dream cant I. What a magnificent life you have.
A wealth of knowledge between you and Rick when it comes to your sailing vessels, keep up the great videos!
In no wind and rolling sea, if you raise the main and lash it tight it will act as a damper against the still air.
This was a great episode!
James -
Perfect video with my Sunday morning coffee.
It wouldn't be SZ without some type of mechanical challenge. lol.
I could watch all day.
The black finger nail polish still freaks me out. Hahaha.
You should have a million subs by now.
👍👍👍
Hey there James , just watched a few of your blogs and i must say i am impressed. Being a sailor and building my own 43 foot Ketch i understand refitting a large cruiser is a major effort, well done i will be watching you and congrats on the music, who said men cannot multitask. Good luck from Cape Town.
Those underwater caves are dope. What a life you live my dude. I’m dealin with a foot of snow in Maine. Fml. It is pretty in New England though. Keep the videos coming, you the man James!
Love the Tula hat....and definitely enjoyed the collaboration with Plucky....
You know what I love about All these sailing channels. They take you with them on there excellent adventures, until I have a boat of my own. Live your best life people 😉
Capt J you make these snowy cold ohio winter's easier with your fabulously warm vids. Mucho homie ⛵ ☠
I so can not wait to get out there and play. im working on it.
Very nice underwater footage!
seems like it is a good idea to wash the anchor while going forward but the engine is sucking all that mud and sand... maybe going around in a tight circle or backing up might be better?
I think what i loved most about this episode is that it shows how tight knit the sailing youtube community is.
That is what I thought you must have done. I had to change mine once. After I changed Almost every component on my sailboat and some for the third time I was so tired of it that I sold it. I went from mid size to small and am building a 15’ open clinker to sail here in the PNW. I do miss my month long solo sails though. If I was younger I would consider being crew just to get back to sea.
Great video! You deserve a bigger stage!
Hey James, Latest vids have been awesome. Peace and Love brother from Steve & Jacqui S/V Refuge (think Annapolis 😉). We’re in the Bahamas.
You got a Michigan native?? Bad ass! Wish I could join you or Plucky to get better at sailing.. Me and the wife gonna sell the farm and the Mac V21 and buy a blue water and start a channel too, brother.. Stay Groovy and take care of Plucky out there.⛵🦅
That was some really good footage and editing! Felt like I was watching a movie. Keep up the good vibes! South Africa.
both of you guys are awesome - "PERSEVERANCE" would be a good name for both of your future boats (for what you've both been through losing several boats and carrying on) .. super impressive !!! ...
Great info on pulling up the anchor, cheers mate
Thank you hay andna😎
good video man. inspires
G''Day James n crew, love the video and the music with ref's to the artists. I speak perfect Aussie and can understand Plukky way better than I understand you. Unreal mate! Matt from a land down under...
Great videos and fun hanging out with plucky...Just on an historical note, didnt many of your early videos have a fun opening to them, about sinking the dinghy twice and other fun stuff from your adventures. I just cant find that opening any more? Was it removed? Or is it my bad memory....Thanks - Your doing great
Great drone work. I'm sure Rick More would have approved.
James, your sea anchor is undersized. You stated you would not make this mistake again. Please purchase a larger anchor for your beautiful vessel.
great show best so far love the music reminds me of rick m.
Well done !
Thank You!
Yep we have finally some 🇨🇦 🍁 🇨🇦 🍁 🇨🇦 🍁
I loved this collab! 💯
I think you would enjoy visiting with Rick and Maddy Moore. Rick is tech-savvy, so you could probably get some ideas for your boat, and good advice.
"Nowhere to be and everywhere to go..." This is the reason I am buying a boat.
With all these yachties and their crew (Zinga, Plukky, Soph., Parley, Shoh, Odd and even Drenched) mingling and switching partners like a tropical paradise swingers party it's hard to follow what happens when, where and why. But it's damn entertaining ....
Been fun watching you guys team up!
This is how you win America’s cup!
Are you doing 2 knots?
I just like saying, I’m sailing!
-Best sailing scene in years. Two yachts in the middle of nowhere just having a chat :)
Your new editor is doing a great job!! Loved the Jam session last night as well! You definitely should include more of those in your films! BTW, I just emailed you in regards to crewing.
Nice video, James
NOWHERE TO BE EVERYWHERE TO GO you sid the magic words , Ill do it !
good stuff
hey your lil jam with the dutch gal and her dad , whats to say , bravo!
Got to love the Canadians! Go Canada Go! Nice video James keep em coming.
Hey B.C. crowd, send us some more 🌧 to SoCal, you guys are having all the fun! 😁
Good vid bro, I like the good vibes going on with all of you guys . 🍻🍻
i speak Aussie caveman, but I think you will find that Plucky has again shown his talent and demonstrated his subtle but cunning linguistic ability by uttering a bit of Aussie gibberish, a little known dialect of Aussie Caveman, nor known to many outside of Cavelandia
Yes. Great watching. Only just subscribed a few days ago. Ya oldschool, keeping it real.
Consider me now a fan. Respect. 😎😎😎😎😎😎😎👍
Nice video, eh! Got to love those Canadians! To those who don't know Canadian slang, "eh"(pronounced 'ay'), is a way of saying "Don't you agree?"
Plucky said..Maybe we are cursed or something.
Nice, I just got done watching Plukky's view of this.
Keep up the great adventures so I don't lose my dreams of one day returning to the "blue desert"
Love the collaboration videos. It is like getting extra doses of Freedom or Zingaro.
I'm refitting my boat to go sailing this year, but it seems there's a lot of nobs out there.
Hey James. Next time you get a chance. Get a bigger supply of JB weld. I have used that on exhaust manifolds as a temp fix and it never went bad. What are using for your speargun? What make, model and length and do you use a muzzle or not?
Rob Allen 90 carbon & Rob Allen 130 Carbon. Both are just regular double banded guns. I hardly touch the 130. I really like the little guy for reef fishing. I also have a Ramey custom xiphias 125 in Hawaii.
@@thelastpirate Awesome. I watch you and Pedro all the time. Keep coming with the live feeds. Loved the vid where you and the young girl were jamming out. Check out The James Hunter Six. British old school sounding band.
You guys keep my dream going to get a sailboat and do the same. Soon, very soon!
what is the brand of your dingy that you employ? is your outboard engine a 10hp or 15 hp engine?
It's an AB with custom tubes by Prince in Curacao. Motor is a Yamaha 15hp 2 stroke
So happy to be sailing( on youtube) with you and Plukky thru 2022. Loving every episode including back catalogue. Green with envy not sea sickness lol. I know the word Zingiberi I am one. But Zingaro is?
James- Great job! Great video- Great Music I cant wait to join you guys on my own boat Truly the lifestyle to emulate! FREEDOM!
Danged old cast iron exhaust elbows. Always crumble when you need them most. Be careful with those exhaust manifold screws, because of the heat they love to snap off and then you gotta tap them out. Best to spray them with oil penetrant a few days in advance and work them out tighten and loosen and work them back and forth until they come out. Good luck if you haven’t already discovered all of this on your own. Which looks like you have.
Not sure what happened with the exhaust elbow ….I guess getting a spare wasn’t a problem? Did not hear about this until this video . Cheers Warren
Yeah I ordered a stainless one on ebay. not a big deal, though I did lose my engine that night and had to sail for 20 hours in light wind to get home. Kinda fun!
AWESOME YOU are all Beautiful People God Bless you James and Anna and Plucky and Everyone Else Beautiful Places to Visit with REALLY Great People THANKS for Sharing
Music was spot on James! Loved this video. Great drone footage.
How do you go under and swim so long with only a snorkel?
A bit off topic but hey James, have you tried Elixir Strings with Polyweb Coating? They are made with an anti-rust component and would probably last longer in the marine environment than non-coated strings. I have used them on my Taylor and Gibson guitars and they sound great. In fact, I think Taylor installs them on all their guitars that come out of their factories because they last longer, sound fresh, than a similar pair of D'Addario's or what have you. Cheers, Bryan
Yeah, those are elixir strings on my guitar. They still go bad much quicker on the boat. I keep the guitar in a humi-case... that helps.
Great episode, like it when you are buddy sailing with Plucky.
Niice been waiting for.this
Lol we just watched South park movie yesterday
Can't believe you met my three fav sailers you captain rick moor and off course the Aussie crazy but good l ❤️ it 🔥 Scotland
aussi caveman is da best
“I’m sailing!!!!” 😂👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you for going out there doing the grind... Making these RUclips videos. last night's jam session was cool as hell. Maybe you should try doing something like that once a month. So all us pirates and privateers will have something to look forward to. And we could party to our various States of disrepair. And since you're not drinking for a year ,,that means more for us. Thanks good job, and if you get the fever more cowbell..
Loved this comment, Nolan.
@5:25, Not clear what plucky was saying cause of the echo from the snorkel, but I think he said "might even be third"
YES! You speak Aussie CAVEMAN! 😆 Love it. Thanks for clearing that up. Maybe Plukky will come fill us in...
@@thelastpirate well living more than 90% of my life in Oz gives me a slight advantage 🤣
I like this style! Keep sailing. Much thoughts about exhaust since I am fitting my Beta.
It's a common problem with seawater cooled marine diesels. If it happens, just rig it up as best you can with some JB weld and get a now one (hopefully you replace it before that happens, but it's REALLY hard to tell...). j
@@thelastpirate JB weld, epoxy impregnated glass wrap to get to repair. It has been impressed to me how long lasting threaded iron pipe assemblies are. Fab a new outlet flange and wet outlet, the rest common plumbing. Forget possibly thought you have an exchanger with wet exhaust? Enough stories of basted it temporarily, kept going till it couldn’t be done again. Found a marine engineer with far more knowledge than myself. Written up on line if you want it.
Keep it up James. 👍😎😎
''maybe the big canoes'' .....Pluckys intepretation?.....my best guess
Good stuff. Thanks.
look all wonderful... What type of anchor and weight do you use? Keep it up !
33kg Rocna
Rick is very cool. Calm and understated
So James, why do you wear Nail polish?
Second the question.
@@donr416 Ran out of fingers when equipping the services of a hammer! Just kidding! Just putting some content out there!
You really want to know?
@@thelastpirate sure
@@thelastpirate because James is the captain and he can🖕
Love you meeting up with other cruisers . Crossover delight
Canadians eh, and they want to go back to Canada!!? But not continue to stay where the temperatures are not, -32C (-25F) Wind Chill !!, as it has been this past week for Montreal. I would love to never experience those temps again, lol
Hi James, you left us hanging on the exhaust elbow fail. Did you have a spare or were you able to repair it somehow?
I JB welded it and ordered a stainless one. It's in and replaced now. It's actually a common problem with sailboats. I've got such better content that I'm really falling behind on, something needs cut.
I think he said that I guess it's time for a new hunting spot.
Please take off the black nail polish 🙏🙏🍻🍻😂
No way, my man Jim.
Sophisticated lady crew............
Does the chief ever come by when you are in the San Blas area to collect a fee? Some cruisers say yes...what say you?
Yes, they will from time to time. But it's only like $10...
Rick Moore the OG!
You totally need to paint the shark on the front of your boat
That’s Rick Moore’s old crew.. well they were there for awhile
Yeah, I guess so if it is broken English.LOL
why does he have varnish on his nails?
Was that Captain Rick? Never mind, you answered my question in advance. Are you psychic?!?
For any relief of burns
Trow or in klenexx
Soy sauce cheers
You guys keep me alive
hey while running around .have you have seen any outer space aliens ??
James, when you see or talk to Plukky again, I have a couple things for him if he wants them. Have him PM me.
Sure thing. I'll let him know. Getting things to San Blas is fairly difficult though... I'd recommend sending them to new crew.
@@thelastpirate Cool! He has my personal email. Just tell him to send me details.
Oops James Tula hat
Not oops, I'm representing! Love Billy and Sierra.
@@thelastpirate good for you man, someone should take them sailing🤗
