Honestly they are my favorites to redesign and offer so many interesting parts, colors and ideas. The friends design team is really killing it and making some really beautful sets.
@@ridzbricks definitely wanted to build a smoothie shop in my hotel and the first place I looked was friends. They do interiors so well with all the appliances and decor as well as the colors.
These are so cool! Every time you do one of these it makes me want to go out and buy double sets and try to make my own! I need more money and space to make this a reality. 😆
What a great job you did! I had a lot of fun with these two sets too. I did a version I found on the Rebrickable website and modified more to my liking.

This is friggin awesome! I kind of liked the original look of the set and the colors, but it was still a Friends set at the end so I passed on it. But the way you modded it, added the kitchen, and the minifigs elevates this SO much! Looks like a Creator expert set now! Great idea with the addition of the balconies. That was a nice touch.
Great work 👌🏻 I’m attempting my first MOC this weekend, I have 3x of the Lego store sets that I’m hoping to build a Lego store modular with. I’ve never tried this before so it’ll be an experience but I’m hoping it goes ok as I’d like to try do some more of my own.

This is amazingly good as is, but I am also picturimg this build with more a muted "normal" colour scheme, would be incredible. Well done mate, shes a Beaut
@@ridzbricks Personally I love the rainbow colours of the original set. Perhaps muted colours means what you might see on the friends organic grocery store, heartlake mall, botanical garden, or the castle b&b? In short, white brick with windows/doors that are brown, sand green, and light nougat.
I forgot to mention it in the video and you are the first to notice. I think Costco had exclusive boxes that are different from other stores. But I couldn’t find any information about that.
You should make digital step by step instructions to monetize the creation you made. Many AFOLS are too busy to make this model without digital step by step instructions. This would be a double win for you and fans of your work.

Yasss. I moced my community center too. Glad to see others love the community set just as much as I do.
Looks very good, definitely an improvement on the original. But like most friends sets I just wish it wasn’t such garish colours!
But I think that’s what makes it different and more vibrant. I think if it were one or two colors people wouldn’t react as strongly
Im with you there, keeping it close to the original but improving it is definitely the way to go. If this ever goes on sale for 80 I am having 2.

Thank you maybe that’s my next attempt. Take this and remix it again with a muted color palette. Does take some of the personality away from it though

Thank you but I don’t use digital designer. The time investment to learn the software and create instructions is way too much for me currently
