very helpful video! i have an interview tomorrow & i’ll use what i saw in the video! update: the interview went AMAZING the manager wasn’t there so the shift supervisor gave me it but she said “you remind me a lot of my younger self, you have all the qualities we are looking for and i look forward to having you if you join our team” she also said “that’s a good answer” to every answer i gave. she also advised me to get my food handlers & got my schedule, she also told me i should receive a call from the manager tomorrow!

Had an interview today for a local coffee shop, this video really did help alot! I now have a trial starting next week :D i suggest using these answers, as a guide though, don't try to remember and say these exact answers word by word. they are a great guide, but you need to sound natural as well. also come up with some questions to ask at the end :)

I had my interview today! Some questions I was asked were the likes of: when were you in a situation that you did not agree with & a situation where you faced controversy. I will update if I got the job in 4 days...
@@moutrayleah9166 I answered from experience of disagreeing at a cafe I worked at not changing the menu if someone wanted something off of their food etc (it had to be stuck to menu even if we had the food which I felt wasnt fully accommodating etc to allergies) and controversy was a our afternoon tea had to be pre booked (same cafe) and a customer didn't know so I apologised, explained why we had to have it pre booked and offered to sit down with her and book a slot another day and offered her a selection of our other cakes instead like scones which was on the afternoon tea menu so similarities. Hope this helps? Always look for an answer to the problem and apologise but offer a solution

I've got a job interview tomorrow with a Costa Coffee and I'm really nervous about it and it said on the job advertisement that they prefer people with at least 1 year of experience in hospitality, barista and customer service which I don't have, just 2 months of it so I will have to make sure I do a REALLY good job in the interview

@@tharushix2983 it went super well, they didn't actually ask me very many questions unfortunately but I was offered the job, just try to be friendly and mention being able to work under fast paced conditions
