My cheap $60 boxing ring for those in a serious budget crunch. In this example I make a 10’ ring for “phone booth” fighting. This can be expanded depending on your desire.
Nice 👍🏽 I use four of those century wave master bags as corners and some old hand wraps as ropes and the puzzle mats. I might have to try this it’s very good idea for kids to bring home with them if they got space
Hey im thinking about doing the same thing! My own question is do those corner bags fall over from time to time? And are the handwraps able to be tight enough to hold people when they lean on em?
@@miskogwan9228 im sure you've seen the title version of what you made? They came with elastic wraps that go around the bags. I just want it to emulate a real ring without paying the price. I agree tho.. They shouldn't be on the ropes but when it happens id like it do feel not foreign is all
@@jayf4357 Yeah that’s where kinda got the idea to buy those wave master bags plus could use them if needed for kids. But title wants a craps load for just the elastic ropes. I haven’t checked in while I also have wholesale account with Title now so should check it now or see could find a identical set
@@miskogwan9228 right now im using those posts u see at airports and stuff like crowd control things.. But they fall all the time and they overstretch when against em sometimes. Thinking of shelling out the money for these bags.. Lol
Super cool idea the best alternative to a boxing ring ive seen. Only thing is you cant lean against the ropes. Not much flexibility. I may try and add pool noodles if they fit around pvc. Then wrap matching color duct tape on the ends and middle to keep pool noodle snug on pvc pipe. Just to add protection to the boxer and pvc
Just a tip they have a scissor like pvc cutter that’s probably cheaper than that copper cutter, and it’ll cut through it way faster than having to spin and tighten every second.
Yes. I found that a backyard is better. Put some steel pipes in the ground, drill holes in them and put chains on them. You can put a pool noodle on the pipes or ropes to soften them up.
This is the best DIY ring I’ve seen
Perfect! Just the information and instruction I needed. Great job!
Thank you, this video just solved a dilemma I was having and have a better general direction to go in
Inspired me to go out and start my own mma/boxing gym with this on the weekends
secretly doesnt tell anyone the dollamur mat cost £500
This is exactly what I was looking for.
Thank you sir

@@jayf4357 No they really don’t just there to be a marker we don’t want our boxers on the ropes anyways
