    I am from the UK so everything came from UK DIY shops.
    Interlocking floor mats - www.screwfix.c...
    M12 Turnbuckle - www.toolstatio...
    Hook plate - www.toolstatio...
    Postcrete - www.toolstatio...
    12MM Blue poly nylon rope - www.ebay.co.uk...
    The fence posts are 3x3 inches, I would recommend 4x4 inches though if you have it in your budget. The posts were treated and panted black with fence paint, I then added blackjack paint to the top for extra protection.

    Holy crap the amount of skill you have, good straight fast strong punch. one thing i work on and i reckon you should is counter punch, when you duck and weave throw a punck, you dont have to. but thank you for really entertining me

    we heavy duty knotted the ropes together as well instead of using rope clamps to save on the cost.

    place the spring between the heavy bag and the clip on the carrier, there will be much less vibration

    just wondering, how do you keep your matts on the ground stable? when i try to use mine, they feel weird on the grass and rip apart or get blown away. any ideas?

    • @robertthemutant9355
      @robertthemutant9355  Год назад +2

      So I took a whole layer of dirt up and levelled it all out as best I could. With no grass this prevented sliding about.

    How long you been Boxing?? At least a few years! You look very schooled on that Heavy bag👏😂
    If you watch old school champions you'll see them mixing hammer fists, back fists, and then knuckles, and repeating with the other hand on the speed bag. It actually teaches you to parry punches and move your hands, head and feet together if you slip and circle it. They used to be really big so they could hit you back if you dropped your hands or didn't move your feet or your head😂

      thanks man.
      i have been on/off boxing for a decade now, only in 2020 i really dedicated a lot of time to it and had a couple of bouts.
      i tore my bicep in my bout at Christmas and had to have surgery so it will be another couple of months before i can go back to boxing again but i have been told i will make a full recovery.
      how about yourself? keep training on hard!

    All in all mate, how much did it cost to get the parts for the ring? And where’s the best places to get the stuff?

    • @robertthemutant9355
      @robertthemutant9355  Год назад

      it cost about 250 pounds in total. depending where you are in the world getting the required materials may differ but most of mine came from building stores.

      @@robertthemutant9355 I’m in the UK too. Did you use B&Q and that?

    • @robertthemutant9355
      @robertthemutant9355  Год назад +1

      @@boxingfanatic__ most of the materials i got from screw fix, including the mats. the wood i got from a local building yard and the rope was a massive reel from ebay, got so much of it left so it comes i handy if it ever needs replacing.
      tool station also had a lot of the materials as well if no local screw fix for you.

    • @robertthemutant9355
      @robertthemutant9355  Год назад +2

      In total I think I spent about 250-300 pounds if I remember right, which is a lot less compared to a traditional ring

    • @DanielOrtiz-ek6hr
      @DanielOrtiz-ek6hr Год назад

      Metal fs me and my dad built one with a metal frame and the ropes are jsut like a actual ring as long as you know to tighten them
