Thank you for the setup... i made the first version that you made and it works a charm ... looking for the new version with the ball bearings ..thanks again
For the Cobra bag. Get one of those spring exercisers that sell on Ebay for $12. Take off grips and attach to steel bar. Bunnings sell a dunny plunger with steel handle and bigger head $13. Was thinking of making one but my first effort is hanging in so well. I have thick 25 MM pvc as the bottom length and have a slight bit of movement at the base so it isn't too stiff. I used 25 mm with 22mm insert and at the top it's like 20mm where it meets the ball. Flexible at the top, solid at base.
Mr. Kewlus!! Thanks for showing us how to make this - AWESOME JOB!! Any tips for me making a hanging version that would latch to a ceiling that i could adjust the height of it? Thanks and thanks!!
Thank you for your support. Hanging a bag from the ceiling can cause problems unless there's a special supporting beam in the roof to which it can be attached. Unfortunately in my home I don't have such a beam so simply not possible. I'm working on a free standing bag - a good alternative.
I bought the your e book great stuff man i followed all the instructions the only thing is that the tee and arm isnt really spinning fully do i just keep using sand paper it till it spins smoothly?
Yes, make sure the inside of the Tee is smooth. The basic design doesn't rotate as well as the "Pro" design which uses ball bearings. I'm in the process of adding the "Pro" design to my book and will email you a copy when I'd done. Perhaps you could make that one?
i'm seeing comments with conflicting measurements for the pvc pipe and the steel pipe so I'm a bit confused... what are the exact measurements of the pvc and the pipe in inches?
Thank you. From memory I think it was a 1 inch PVC pipe. As long as the T section fits nicely over the mast. So, really depends what size pipe you use for the mast
Tried today.. No luck, got all the pipes and everything together at the store, but the umbrella base was too big(where you put the pipe in) so id recommend finding one with a 1 in base, so far no luck, any other ways to make a decent base?
That’s ok. My umbrella base hole is also too wide in diameter. All you have to do is build up the thickness of the pipe at a single point where it sits inside the base. I’ve done that by wrapping tape and using a section of a one-size larger pipe over the top. I’ll show at the end of next video 👍
@@Kewlus Dude thanks for the quick reply! All my stores around me are closed right now or I'd have it going! Dang that's smart! Ok while were at, I was thinking of making the bar adjustable too so then when I add the ball on top, the height for that along with the spinning pipe are both adjustable, but realistically the ball on top isn't too important and found it easier to just exclude it completely. Or just make multiple bars of different length for the people who plan on using it. When it comes to that a plunger and taping a ball to it will work? Does it ever pop out from u hitting it since u just place it in the pipe?
This is great thanks! Something small that may help the channel - perhaps consider becoming an Amazon affiliate and posting links to any materials that can be purchased on Amazon that you have used in the description? You'll earn a small percentage commission on each sale through your link and might save the audience time searching for materials. Percentages certainly aren't massive but might add some small cashflow?
Thanks Sam - great suggestion! One problem is that Amazon doesn't deliver to every country - for example certain items that are available for US are not delivered to Australia and vice versa. All the items I use are general hardware store items and are all available at Bunnings in Australia, Home Depot in US (I'm guessing) and B&Q in UK (also guessing). More specific items that are not able to be obtained in a hardware store I will link for sure.

Thanks sooo much bro ! I have been looking on amazon and it’s so expensive . I am going to build one thanks to you;)
Glad I could help! Stay tuned for a "pro" version where I will use a couple of ball bearings which are easy to buy online.
How did it turn out?
i challenge you to make on without the umbrella stand . much love and great video
I’ll try 👌
Hey man just found you today really like what I saw building one tonight thx
Thanks man. 🤙

That's great man love dodge bar I'm going to share this video to my friends and speak of you on my small boxing channel
Thank you 😊
Great Job thank you, i made also one, but yours are far better than mine.. now i got new inspiration. Tank You again
You are welcome 😊
Good work,thanks champion😁👍👍👍💪💪💪👏👏👏🏆🙏
Nice, but why don't you supply a list of materials used including sizes..?
The materials can vary depending on country and personal attributes like weight and height. I generally tell you what you need in the video
Say Reedy how about putting some pipe insulation on the end of the spinning arm
That’s a good idea 👌 I also used a pool noodle which is only $1. ruclips.net/video/xdYXVNRVgUA/видео.html

can you make a double end bag tutorial please?
I’ll definitely consider it 👌
Omg you're a genius - i could use a dip bar aswell - u need to mass produce these
😂 🤣🤣🤣

Go by these if in doubt: kewlus.com/blogs/diy/how-to-make-pro-cobra-punching-bag
Quais as dimensões do material usado. (Polegadas dos tubos de ferro e dos de PVC) ??? 🇧🇷🇧🇷
What is the size of MDF board bro
Need the sizee height and breath
The one I’m using is for two punching bags and it’s 600mm wide by 1200mm long. If you’re making just one, it would be 600x600. 👌
Thank you for post these Videos :)
You’re most welcome 😃
Now this looks sick 👍👍
Glad you like it!!! :)
This is awesome. Maybe put one of those foam Noodle around it just in case it smacks you in the face? Haha
Thank you 😄🤣 yeah will probably do that in the next build!

The ball is mainly to add weight to the top to reduce vibration in the pole. It doesn't pop out for me as I don't hit it hard if ever.
@@Kewlus ok so technically if i wanted to make one for a one size fits all just cut the main pipe to like 6'2" and adjust the hose clamps as needed,
@@Kewlus thanks alot for the all the help really appreciate
And what size is the steel pipe
roughly the same as the PVC pipe - 1 inch
What size is the steel pipe and and pvc pipe I’m going to Bunnings
Go with the DN 25 PVC pipe and Tee. Then match the steel pipe to fit the Tee. Should be about the same diameter as the PVC pipe. Good luck bro 🤙🤞👌
Thanks heaps you’re the best
Hello Sir, thank you for sharing this build. Just wondering what diameter PVC pipe you used for the arm portion.
Also: looking forward to seeing how you use ball bearings in your next edition.
You're welcome! I used a one and a quarter inch pipe (DN 25).
Hello Reedy,
I meant to ask what the PVC pipe, tee PVC and the metal pipe diameters were in this video. Is it also 25 mm?
Yes. In Australia it’s referred to as 25mm but actual outer diameter is about 34mm
This is great thanks!

Is the pvc 25mm or 32mm
It's 25mm - most of the details are here: www.fighterdiy.com/2020/05/diy-spar-bar-simple.html and I will answer questions right away on that site.
Awesome! Can we get the Ryan Garcia cobra bag?
Definitely possible. I’ll look into it. 👌

Really useful
Glad you think so! Thank you
