Because he went overboard showboating and mocking a low level opponent that he was supposed to beat easily. Some showmanship is great, but doing it to the level that Whittaker did was just outright disrespectful to his opponent. People don't really like to see that. I feel like he’s definitely going to be a problem going up the ranks, the height, reach, movement, handspeed and power is clearly difficult to deal with.
