I love how in every fight he laughs at his opponent playing with him inside the ring but as soon as the fight ends he always shows respect for his rival. What a guy.

Ref admonishing Ben for his showmanship was disappointing. Boxing is entertainment and the boxers are the main attraction. Nobody comes to a fighting event to watch the ref.

I can imagine some punter going mad because they bet on the 3rd round ko, only for Whittaker to completely let him off the hook. If the opponent is ready to go then pull the trigger & get the finish. I wish him well but one day in the far future, he may be in the position of eroded skills or a lapse of concentration & get knocked out while messing around. You don’t play boxing.
