Just started watching so you may figure this out later. but, FYI there are two AA7s the MiG 23s carry. The deltas that you carried are IR. The Charlie’s that the intercept load out carries are radar guided and longer range.
you should stop wasting so many missiles agaisnt air targets, also try to stagger your missile launches a bit because most of the time if you launch two missiles at the same time they'll both get distracted by flares / chaff, instead try firing one and waiting a bit then firing the other
Favorite scenario so far. When I played it, I used a combination of flight ops and cruise missiles to destroy the NATO group. The trick was getting in close, so my aircraft had the range to strike, wittled down their defensive screen, and with the Nimitz class and Iowa class wide open, I overwhelmed them with all the cruise missiles I had in range.
@BrotherMunro I think as well. If you do salvo fire on the formation, they will all dump their missiles. Not 100% sure though. I guess that would assume the formation has less than the max salvo option.
Another fantastic video! I've created a scenario myself called Battle of the Black Sea, USS America and VLS Ticos Vs the black sea fleet, air and ground assets. Would be absolutely thrilled if you played it and gave some feedback! (It's my first one so I'm sure it's not perfect!)

You forgot that TAVKR Tbilisi is technically was your third Slava cruiser (16 Shipwreck) but only its a aircraft carrier. Watching you did everything with clunky menus instead of hotkeys make my eyes bleed. Then I got brain injury when you perform strikes by breaking air formation and then tried to catch those slippery planes one by one. Please man use hotkeys next time. By the way EW works magically good. You just did it wrong. It's jamming directionally. Pink cone must be headed along missiles path. Side jamming only hide jammers itself. And only one 688 on your way could turn decisive victory to epic fail )))
It's kind of pointless to shoot multiple a2a missile at a time against a hostile target, because if one of them is decoyed they'll all be decoyed since they've been shot from the same bearing.
Its a decent strategy with a ~5 sec wait between them I tired this out, the way chaff and AI works shooting 2 at a time seperated by 5 seconds alwqys nets a kill as the first triggers the chaff/flares and the second hits as the chaff cools down
Now that was a comprehensive one sided ass whooping, never expected that at all. Would be interesting to re-run with NTU mod for US.

Question: Why did you not utilise the EW aircraft to undertake jamming as the missles went in on the alpha strike?

hopefully these scenarios will be a little more difficult once the AI figures out how to use carriers and aircraft properly.

You cqn right click for salvo fire on the toolbar at the bottom. You dont have to right click the unit

Is there some reason you didn’t bother to use the 16 Shipwrecks your carrier has under the front of the flight deck?

I’d say they basically aren’t present at the moment, it’s currently what the developers are working on
