I honestly feel like Colleen Hoover should write more thriller/mystery books because she is so unhinged and makes crazy characters that it would work in a thriller setting like verity

Your videos always feel like a safe place for any kind of reader. You give your opinion on books you've read without being mean or derogatory to people with different opinions. I've noticed lately that more and more booktubers or booktokkers have very strong opinions about certain books and I often feel bad if I thought a book was great when they did not. But you make room for all opinions and make every reader feel welcome and that's why I keep coming back to your videos. Thanks for that!

Not to mention she’s also respectful to the authors that worked really hard on their stories whether some people enjoyed them or not

Watching this (and my own experience) gave me a video idea. You could vlog reading books you don't expect to like. Like the opposite of reading 5 star prediction books. Donno if it has been done before (if it has pls suggest some vids).
I was really prejudiced against Colleen Hoover but decided to give her a try after hearing my friends' reviews. I read both Verity and It Ends with us in 2 days. They ARE really quick reads like you mentioned. I could point out many flaws if I want to but in the end I had a great time reading them and sometimes that's all I want from a book.

I hated Ace of Spades. It felt so young for YA and there was no nuance in the discussion of race. All the white people were villains and the Black people were victims (especially the boy-- he was basically trauma porn).

The spanish love deception in one (german) word: Fremdschämen (the feeling of shame on someone else‘s behalf)!!
Worst book I‘ve read (well about 50 pages) so far in this lifetime 🫣
