My favorite of the year is The Patron Saint of Second Chances by Christine Simon, another amazing debut. I wish more people would read it! You've absolutely convinced me to read Every Summer After-I didn't know it was set in cottage country! My grandparents had a cottage up north in Ontario and we'd stay a few weekends a year, so I'll love the nostalgia there. Also, childhood friends to lovers is my favorite romance trope. I'm actually kind of mad at myself that I haven't read this!
You've Reached Sam was one of the best books in 2022 as well. I loved it, I brought it when I was in America in April visiting my sister and brother in law 💕💕💕. I also loved Long Live the Pumpkin Queen by Shea Ernshaw that I read at the beginning of November. I won't stop talking about it because I want it made into another Tim Burton movie because it was the absolute best 🎃🧡

It’s so weird to me that The Dead Romantics isn’t getting more hype! It’s definitely up there with Book Lovers as my favorite romance this year and I hear almost no one talking about it.

Klune I am currently reading Stellarlune, which is the 9th book in the Keeper of the Lost Cities-series by Shannon Messenger and I am flying through it! I don’t usually like fantasy, but this middle grade series has really got me hooked since book one. Can’t wait for your next video ☺️

How is Atwood's horrific dystopian novel "The Handmaid's Tale", about enslaved, tortured young females, raped, impregnated and imprisoned for life in any way relevant to today? I totally find that thinking even more terrifying, if this attitude exists in the US/Canada, then something is terribly wrong over there!!!
