Ashton Muise With marcus, all the ski vlogs were the same, with andreas, every single one is like little awesome movie!!! It cant get better than this..hope he stays for a long time!
I also think its part of the team they do it with to be fair, they have a heli now and drones as with Marcus they coudnt bring this much gear. but i must admit I love the colour grading!
As someone who criticized many aspects of Andreas's edit yesterday, this vlog is great. But I certainly hope it can get better.
Don't underestimate the recognizable style Marcus put in the vlog, Marcus was great and Andreas is just finding his footing. He should certainly improve, I love the focus on the story and the more subtle edits in this one.
These vlogs are becoming less about Jon worrying about making a vlog and more about documenting a situation. Jon can finally focus less on post production and concentrate on getting great shots and living the moment. The editing so well paced and stays consistently interesting. Team overkill is killing it! Great job Jon and Andreas!

You need to cook Jannis favourite dish - not pizza - and put on your favourite boxer. Rent a separate room so that you can put roses on the bed and have a bottle of cold Champagne ready. And don't forget to order breakfast on the bed for the morning after.

Nobody Cares maybe you can replace marcus as a cutter or a filmer, but not as human..
I agree, and I was the guy criticizing the edits yesterday. This feels much more like the old Jon Olsson vlog - great cinematography, minimalism, focus on dialogue and personalities. There's still a lot of Andreas's style, but it;s much more subtle.
Add to that the awesome shots by Jon and Bradley (and team), it makes for one of the top 10 vlogs in my opinion.
This is something I can watch every single day.

Agree, love the dedication, though hopefully he will get the hang of it so he can join in on the fun. One big thing I noticed is the improved musical transitions. Dialogue is so much clearer now.

Trying to be constructive here. You guys are really nailing the slick production values. Part of what made Marcus so great was the human element. He was a friend of Jon's and it added to the content of the videos. He was involved with everything as a part of the vlog. I'd rather see a video with a great story filmed on an iphone than a snazzy RED filmed montage with no lifeblood. Anyways, keep having fun and thanks for the entertainment!

Marcus and Jon, their relationship was great since Vlog 2 (and that's just because Vlog 1 was like 2 min long). That said, you can't get that chemistry everyday.
I have no problem with letting Andreas perfect his edits, he can come to the front of the camera when he's ready.
If you watch the vlog from day 1 you will see it took a while before Marcus took a place in the vlogs. Give it time.

I have to say it was another epic vlog, its getting to the point now that when your really getting into the video you hear " its time to end the vlog", does anyone feel like they would like the vlogs to be longer? I myself would enjoy longer ones.
This is probably my favourite vlog since Andreas joined the team, it felt like they interacted more with eachother and us in this vlog. Keep going Andreas! You're doing a great job!

Ryan Sams yeah she really was! There's a ton of cool footage of her riding more too, I'm sure Brad will put some of it in his VLOG, and if not I'll make a video out of it all once I get the memory cards back from everyone.
the vlog started so well and ended well but in the middle it was confusing. i don't get how we go from Janni skiing down the mountain to Jon suddenly on the snowbile and suddenly Bradley is back and Janni has disappeared? then no more snowmobiles, they are now back up on the tipi and on their skis and Janni is back. I think Jon used to give us some narrative and that kind of filled in the gaps and made the story more cohesive. Also music is not as uplifting as it used to be, at some points it is really low energy. breathtaking nature, awesome filming, and was nice to see you having fun! :)
kt there's just one thing missing that I think made it all confusing for you.
When Janni was skiing down she stopped before the very bottom of the run and got picked up and brought to the top. So after that Jon skiid the rest of the way down and the took the sled that was at the bottom half way back up the mountain and stopped there to talk to Brad. That's where the drone delivery was, and just beside it is the helipad we stomped out. So they all met there and discussed how it would work with the heli laps. Does that make more sense?

This was amazing. Incredible shots and views. Loved the way the day was edited into such a fun story. Nice to see Andreas integrated more and seemingly more comfortable. The backflip moment had me actually say "woah" out loud.

This is what all of RUclips should be like, I’m so tired of all the stupid click bait-drama videos that are all about getting the most views for money, when RUclips was first introduced, it was about content creators being able to share their ideas and concepts with the public, and this channel is exactly that. It’s hard to find good quality channels like this that are more about the moment than the money. Good job guys! Thanks for making a part of RUclips still genuine and creative!

That drone salami/cheese delivery was hilarious lol! I love the mix of great skiing footage and little moments like that. I also really appreciate the intro credits that pop-up when someone we haven't yet been introduced to on the vlog steps in front of the camera.

Dabid Arriola absolutely incredible watching how much work and effort they put into this VLOG. He does more than most people in a day, with all the skiing and crazy adventure, and then manages to document it better than a national geographic video, lol.

Jon, Janni has the key. She must improove her technique, mainly for her own enjoyment, and also for yours... And that´s with ski lessons. If she take lessons everything will be easyer. I mean, skiing, (not for you, for normal people), is a very techknical sport and with solid learning she will feel much better in this kind of snow and the more fun for her, the easier for you. ;)

I had to watch this a couple of times... I love that we're back to the skiing vlogs! When we have these kinds of vlogs I honestly wouldn't mind a 20-30 min vlog with more LONG clips of the skiing. Marcus had a really good way of editing these kinds of vlogs. I'm enjoying the new style of editing I just wish it was longer. I'm going to keep saying I want longer vlogs and hopefully Jon and Andreas will notice and accommodate all the others and I.

Beau Ackx maybe tomorrows vlog he will me more "on the ground". Viewers complain too much: so many conplains about time of uploading despite timezone and shitty net connection. Tomorrow they fly to LA anyway so no time to edit and upload anyway I assume, hence maybe the kid can be "on the ground" for a while....we will see.
It takes time to learn how to edit fast, I will never criticize Andreas for deciding to stay behind and perfect his craft. He will learn, and he should be in front of the camera too, eventually.

Mate, videos have lacked continuity lately and are kinda disjointed. I feel like we are not actually getting to see much of the day ☹️
Rory Hewitt what do you think is missing? That was most of the day honestly. The morning was all just at the house editing, and then straight after that we were all in the helicopter getting picked up.
We "tune in" daily for a story, live vicariously through Jon. Lately it has felt like more of a disjointed highlights package without any real continuity taking us through the day.

Finally catched up! Watched all of the 305 Vlogs the last week. Awesome editing by everyone involved, Jon, Marcus and andreas! Awesome down to earth people that just live in the moment and just love life in general. It's actually very peacefully to watch, vlogs like this makes your fantasy go nuts. I'm subbed for life!

Sickest VLOG!! The skiing VLOG's are my favorites, because I've been following your ski career for a long time! loved the length of it too. 10-15 minutes is perfect in my opinion.
