During the discussion of CAA @27:55 mins, Principle of Equality was discussed, i doubt it because the CAA discriminates between the castes and citizenship factors of the people coming from other countries, who are trying to get Indian Citizenship but still they are not, hence why shall they be treated as equal in Indian Law and how it discriminates among Indian Citizens...?

Just an addition to IPC 309 and Mental Health Act question. SSC 309 is still kept in the IPC as it only lays the presumption of existence of mental stress. In the presence of proof which negates the presumption the person can still be prosecuted.
Under the 1955 Act, an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholder's registration may be cancelled if he violates a law for which he is: (i) sentenced to imprisonment for two years or more, and (ii) within five years of his OCI registration.
